These guys are great!…read more After several days of hard labor by myself moving 11yd^3 of dirt with a wheelbarrow and shovel, I had to decide on a hydroseeding company. Paul showed up and was extremely friendly and helpful. He didn't hesitate to grab my rake and fix some things I didn't even know I was doing wrong. He sprayed the whole thing quickly and with a great attitude. He gave me tons of info and a nicely written instruction sheet. I followed the instructions perfectly the next few weeks and the grass was growing like crazy! VERY thick, green, nice grass. There were a few spots that needed some touchup. I emailed Terry, got a response quickly, and they were out the next day. Paul, once again, was incredible. He sprayed the spots again, making sure to ask me if I was happy or noticed anything he missed. They came out and did a great job on the laurel and bush but did not weed the gardens. My husband called them and they took a look at the estimate again. Apparently, they put the entire job in the title but not in the body of the estimate. They said they would have someone come out and take a look but were not able to set a time. One further unanswered call and we are still waiting to hear. I will agree we should have looked closer at the estimate and they did a good job on the work they did but I'm turned off about the issues with the gardens. Not even a call back? Would not go with them again.

My latest project is to remove two 50 year old fir trees that have been 'trimmed/topped' by the power company that are interwoven with the lower data cables on the power poles. The trees were in pretty bad shape both in how they had cut by the power company as well as them growing multiple new trunks off to once side and a pine tree that is overhanging my garage. We discussed what I wanted done and he was able to start work on the same day. For the pine tree over hanging the garage Roger put on his spikes and removed limbs going up. To make sure they didn't hit the garage, he used a rope to lower the larger branches down safely and not touching the garage. At the top he cut 4 foot sections and directed this into safe landing zones on his way down. At most this took about an hour including setup and moving the branches to keep the work area clear with his helper on the ground. For the two trees that had been 'trimmed' by the power company they were a bit harder. Both had been trimmed off at about 15-20 feet but had sprouted back up with double and triple trunks maybe another 50-60 feet tall from where power company had topped these old growth trees.. Some of these also have branches that are over 12 inches in diameter and are interwoven together and had 3 thick data cables in the branches to protect as well. Roger was able to clear the branches from the powerline data cables (lowest wires) and safely drop some of the branches that were the diameter of small trees safely around the fencing on the front of my property. Roger did this all with climbing gear. wearing safety gear, a rope to drop branches, a small Stihl chainsaw that he's able to use left or right handed. It's not a lot of stuff but Roger's expertise allows him to make short work of very large trees where he needs to drop things around things like garage, fencing, driveways, etc. very accurately. Roger gets the work done, he likes the work he does and I've enjoyed speaking with him. I think his pricing is good and he'll work with you. Roger does great work and stops to look at a situation for both safety and what needs to happen in order to have things happen as needed. I've gone with Treebulance and working with Roger since the 90's when he removed a pine tree that had died not damaging the fence or having the branches or trunk of tree drop in the neighbors property, even though the tree was on the property line with the main trunk of the tree on my side. I like his setup for clean up as well. He has a big diesel chipper that blows the chips into the back of his truck. It's amazing to watch a huge limb, with a diameter of 6 inches, just disappear into chips in seconds. The truck has a large box on the back (that can tilt to empty!) with a roll down door. It's a nice setup and very efficient and he just rolls the door down to take to some of the recycle areas around the area. Who doesn't need good mulch! Thanks for the great work Roger! Brian
