I first found them on Craigslist. I was originally impressed by their clear state hours and prices. I tried calling several times and ended up texting because they said that was the fastest response. I specifically asked for a phone call back to discuss a grade and level job. No other details. About 5hrs later they responded with a simple "Can't help you with this project." Nothing else. Worth Every Cent! Brandon and company showed up full of energy for the eight hour price and completely changed the look of our front and back yard. So much so that we immediately hired him to come back to take care of several things we had not planned on doing for a bit longer. Because of the busy season, Brandon gave me the option of having several guys working at the same time for a few hours versus him for 8 hours. Same price!! So, a team of energetic people showed up and completed every single thing on our list within a couple of hours. It was absolutely amazing to see the transformation!! Each person was respectful of our property, listened closely to our wishes and left it in pristine condition! We were so thrilled to have our property looking better than we had envisioned. For $450, Brandon and his team worked simultaneously on different sections of the property to: Mow and edge entire property including around trees and flowerbeds. Bag all clippings and remove from property. Pressure wash back porch, side patio, sidewalk and driveway. Haul away all bulk trash and random items that need hauled to the dump. Shaped and filled in a hole in the yard. Used leaf blower to clean up the property. When they returned for the second visit: Mowed and edged entire property including around trees and flowerbeds. Trimmed and shaped all hedges, bushes and small/medium trees including removing any undergrowth. Removed any branches close to our roof or guttering. Weeded flowerbed. Picked up and delivered leveling sand. Pinned down landscape fabric over previous filled in hole. Added leveling sand to hole. Hauled away all trash, limbs and yard clippings. Used a leaf blower to clean up the property. You will be thrilled with hiring this company to handle your property!! We are completely satisfied with the quality and speed of the service! Brandon brought two helpers along but directed all the work himself. We had arranged for his "eight hour" deal and got 9 hours of work since they stayed a full 3 hours. He came 5 minutes early to go over what we wanted done and didn't leave until nearly 3 1/2 hours later. They did an excellent job of doing exactly what we asked him to do. We will most likely call him again in a couple months for the same thing. Until I can find a reasonable twice a month maintenance service we will continue to let the yard go until we have enough work to call him back. Nothing bad to say about Seahawk. read more

I had a different service come through months ago and they did some basic cleaning up, but left a lot undone. These guys get a Zero. Hired them to pick up glass and trash for four hours. They left after two hours and didn't pick up trash. So we paid them half. I was fortunate to be able to book Brandon and his crew in the off season. Now they know my property and I hope they will have time to come back on a regular basis. I got one of his specials and it worked like this: I paid for 4 hours of work to clean up these giant piles of large limbs I accumulated deep pruning my trees and to possibly clean up and manicure a hedge. You are paying for total man hours. He brought two strong capable helpers and indicated the three of them would work for 1.5 hours, so I'd be getting an extra half hour. It was more than worth it! While two of them loaded my piles, he was up on the ladder topping and cleaning up my 12ft hedge. They finished early and then used the extra time to manicure another boxwood hedge. The quality and quantity of the work was superior and a GREAT value for the money! I sent pictures and told him how much I had budgeted for the work plus dump fees and what to leave if they ran out of time. He told me a date he had available and I booked it. I paid cash. I was glad someone was home to tell them what else they could do, because they finished early and probably gave me extra time, judging by how much they got done. They are licensed and insured so you don't have to worry about someone falling on your property. Brandon actually knows about plants and trees too, and knows what NOT to do. Notice the negative reviews were never about the quality of work or the value, but about not being able to connect. Not a fan of leaving poor reviews, but I didn't have a good experience. 2-3 stars. I texted Brandon with the request to prune ten fruit trees, remove one old small one, and haul everything away. I sent him photos and he thought it'd be doable for $475 (three guys, three hours). Upon arrival, he confirmed that. I was stoked, seemed like a sweet deal. I had to get to work, so I took off and didn't watch. I returned three hours later after they'd left, and roughly one third of the job was completed. Two trees pruned well, the rest barely touched, and a huge pile of shoots left over. I hadn't received any warning mid-way that they weren't going to finish the job which would have been unfortunate but understandable and respectable. I'll echo some previous sentiments - I should have watched them work (couldn't), there should have been some accountability as to paying for the JOB as agreed rather than by the hour. He clearly over committed by a long shot. I just received a bid on annual pruning from a legit landscape company and it's on-par with what these guys were capable of per hour. PROS: Super reliable with communication. Brandon was able to fit me in next-day. He's a hustler and hard worker and I respect that. They seem like good enough guys, nothing shady. Obviously it's worked out for plenty of people, just not for others like myself. CONS: You're paying by the hour, with no guarantee of work committed, so I don't see the benefit. Not worth $45/hour for tree pruning. It's clearly not their strong suit. Also, no business card or proof of insurance etc. Hope this helps. read more

Tried to contact this gentleman and received no contact from him within 48 hours. Then he proceeded to argue with me that he doesn't do lawn service quotes or lawn service at all within the Olympia area. So he has blatantly lied. A reply text takes a matter of SECONDS to reply back to someone. AND you shouldn't lie or advertise that you're able to service an area that you just told me that you do NOT service. It's all over Craigslist on the daily lawn service pages. Common courtesy or decency would have been to reply back stating something to the effect of "Thanks for contacting me. I'm busy with family time over the holiday. I'll get back to you sometime this coming week." That's all. A mere quick 5 second reply is just plain common courtesy. I'm going to stick with what Poulsbo M., Cress V. and Scott B.said in their reviews based upon my own experience in dealing with Brandon. Brandon then proceeded to tell me that he's booked up and couldn't even give me a quote until 8 May, 2017. We're on Easter, April 16, 2017. 3 weeks later? I think this guy is extremely upset and EMBARRASSED because I called him out on poor customer service. AVOID requesting a quote from him if you're in the OLYMPIA, LACEY, TUMWATER, NISQUALLY, SHELTON, KITSAP PENINSULA or other surrounding areas. Don't bother. He doesn't service your area, even if he STATES that he does on Craigslist. He'll deny this outright to you, yet if you look on Craiglist, he advertises to those areas on a regular basis. Brandon stayed in touch initially, arrived on time with crew and we walked the property and I told him what I hoped to accomplish, including taking out some alder trees. He stated they were leaning the right direction and wouldn't be a problem. Brandon had 3 helpers for a total of 4 workers for 2 hours. After a while, I asked Brandon about trees he was supposed to cut down and he didn't seem to know what I meant. Four men at $45 an hour each, but they were not $45-an-hour workers. Brandon probably pays them minimum wage or maybe got them off work release. They checked their phones while the worked and didn't work very fast. I think they actually blew leaves from my driveway ON TO my lawn- there were more leaves on the lawn when they left, then were there when they arrived. And why wasn't getting leaves off the grass a priority, as long as Brandon was picking what needed to be done? I paid Brandon before they were finished; there was no asking of how did I like the job? Would I like to have them back? No contact since they left, whatsoever. To be fair, I realize that the job should have been bid by JOB not by the hour. I should have worked with them and supervised. I will own up to my part, but overall I feel really ripped off. read more

This guy is a super flake. I asked him for a quote on removing some yard waste and I sent over some pictures. He gave me a quote and said he would try and get me on the schedule later that week. I was looking to surprise my wife and get our yard cleaned up before I had a lot of my family in town. I did some searching and decided to check Craigslist. I found out about Brandon on Craigslist. I really liked the ad and how simple and straight forward he was on his work. So I reached out and told him I'd like to hire him for 9 hours of work. I was going to be out out of town and asked if one day between July 11-14th would work. He told me he'd come out on Tuesday and asked if I had paypal. I said yep and the deal was made. I sent him pictures and emailed him a list of work to be done with a priority list. 1) Mow, trim, etc 2) Clean up flower beds, lay new woodchips or something 3) Pruning 4) weed n feed. Brandon gave me some good advice and we removed the weed n feed off the list. Brandon told me via text he's going to be out on Monday now (which was no problem as it was within my dates I asked). Monday- He didn't make it. He texted me that night at 6:14 confirming that he'll be there on Tuesday for sure (I'm out of town still so no problem) Tuesday- He texted me he had a family emergency and was sorry to ruin my wife's surprise but didn't make it but will be out on Wednesday. I was a bit bummed but hey family first. I told him I needed it done or I'll put the project on hold and he said figured out some things and said he'd make Wednesday work. He'd be bringing 4 guys for 2.5 hours (10 Hrs total) and he'd show up at 11:45. Wednesday 15th: Good communication on the bark he was buying and confirmed and said it will look nice. 12:53 PM I texted him that I was out of my meeting and let me know if he needs anything. He replied back that things are almost done and he'll send photos soon. My wife called me to say thank you and said one thing that is odd is they did not mow and asked her if they were suppose to. She told me to she replied to do whatever I told them too and they left (remember this was first on my list). 4:00 PM- No word, no pictures but I wasn't too worried about it. I text Brandon and said good work but the only issue is why wasn't my lawn mowed? 7:50 PM He replied "I apologize for the inconvenience. I will be there next Thursday during my regular schedule visits to the area and will mow and get it taken care. Told me to hold off $50 of my pay until the work is done. So just send $290 of the $340." Thursday 16th - I replied asking if he saw my dog who we accidentally left in the backyard. his phone was acting up and he never replied on that. He texted me again the next day the same message. I replied once again did you see my dog who had gone missing. He emailed me he had seen it and it escaped under to my neighbors yard and barked at them most of the time and said he'd be by Thursday to mow once again. (Please note I DO NOT blame Brandon for my dog that went missing. It was our fault and we found her later). Friday 17th- He emailed me saying to just pay $240 of the $340. I emailed him asking what his paypal email address to pay and that I noticed two more issues. I said I'd go ahead and pay the $290 and not the $240. Below is my email. "That's fine and I noticed two issues. You only covered 3/4 of the area by the tree and there is fairly large blank spot by the maple bush to the left of my front door. That needs to be finished on Thursday as well. I'll pay you the $290 now once you confirm your email to me and will pay the other $50 once the job is completed. brandon4lawns@yahoo.com is that your paypal email?" Brandon replied back with his paypal email and I paid him $290. Monday the 20th rolls around and he texted me asking about the money and said to just pay $240 of the $340 asap. After figuring out the mistake I went ahead and paid him $290 NOT $240 (without waiting for my refund of the original $290 from paypal). Thursday July 23rd- Brandon nor his crew do not show up. No email, text, nor phone call. Friday July 24th- I email him asking if it was a mistake to pay the $290. Sunday July 26th- Brandon Replies: You paid for 9 hours of labor I gave you that...me coming back to mow is me trying to be nice because I forgot. I will let you know a day this week I can stop by. I'm very frustrated at this point. My lawn looks like crap and he didn't partial work. I decide to lay out.. August 10th- I felt I've waited long enough. I email Brandon asking for $50 to be refunded to me and we'd be even. Brandon quickly replied "NO" I emailed him and asked how does he figure that? I've gotten zero replies and obviously here August 17th and counting Brandon has no interest to correct the situation and simply do what I asked him to do. I have copies of all text, emails if anyone would like to see to confirm my story. So with that I say to run away from Brandon and his crew..You will get incomplete work and he'll take your money and run.
