Stopped in for breakfast. Had pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Everything was great and waiters were very nice and attentive.

Great and cool spot for diner type food. They also have a separate ice cream parlor . I I sat at the bar and was greeted by a few employees. Really nice staff. I asked about the burger and was told that the bun is a sweet bun. I'm not a fan at all of those types of bun so I opt for the chili cheese hotdogs. An order came with two. It had chili cheeese, onions and jalapeños with a side of pickle . Hotdog itself was good but needed it to be bigger in size. It was a thinner hotdog . Bun wasn't steamed at all and gave it that leftover old bread taste and overall too much bread for the dog, seems like a regular bun, but If it was steamed it would of been way better. My 3 generation family of 10 tried EATS for the first time. We have been looking for a reasonably priced traditional breakfast restaurant. We had great service and all loved our meals: omelettes, burgers, pancakes, biscuits and gravy. I've Nate breakfast there twice now the first time was eh not great but the second time I asked for bacon fried limp they game me some old bacon that looked and tasted like it was ran in the microwave and the pancakes were very eggy not fluffy just flat. My husband and I were on a double date with some friends last night. We had eaten dinner somewhere else and wanted dessert. When I googled places for dessert near us, E.A.T.S. Diner popped up. We decided to go try it. We were greeted when we walked in the door. Our sweet waitress was very helpful with the dessert menu. She was very enthusiastic about her job. I could tell she enjoyed working there. We each ordered milkshakes or malts and questioned her about menu items for future reference. She answered every question and made us look forward to coming back for a visit in the near future. After our shakes, my husband decided he wanted to try a bacon and egg biscuit and I orders bacon biscuit. We ordered them and a few minutes later our waitress came back to tell us they were closing soon, so they were out of biscuits. We told her no problem we'd come back another day. She could bring the check. A few minutes later, she returned to tell us the kitchen staff was making us fresh biscuits and they'd be out in a few minutes. We said it wasn't necessary, but they insisted and she commented saying they are the sweetest people. It was a wonderful experience with outstanding food and service. So wanted to love this place and was excited to read in the paper about a location opening with affiliation to Strawberry Cafe since I LOVE eating at SC. However, no comparison. We waited about 20-30 minutes on a Sunday, not bad at all. Place is small with a modern flare. Cute artwork, overall clean tables/chairs, and surroundings. Waiter and staff was nice and friendly. So, here we go, prices are an approximate. Order 1: Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit $4.50. Missing the egg, requested already ordered hard cooked fried egg for child. Received 10 minutes later. Daughter placed into her original biscuit took a bite and was super runny, found also the bacon was undercooked, cold, and daughter would not eat. Order 2: Mushroom Swiss omelette with grits $8. Grits okay, omelette was good. Order 3: Hash browns, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, toast $7.50. Black pieces of hash browns mixed with freshly cooked hash brown, bacon almost undercooked, toast no butter nor jelly (requested twice). Scrambled eggs weren't bad however lots of surprises (hash browns, veggie...no food allergies, luckily). Meal did come before the drinks ever did and another waitress helped us out when I asked (3 waters only, no specialty), never got refills. Two of the three meals maybe ate 2-3 bites, waited for check so we could leave had to go to front to ask if we could pay there and go. I explained what happened and explained one meal was fine and my son ate but the other two we could not eat and why. They did offer a discount on check from approximately $21 reduced to $16. Very disappointed and hungry. Went to a Sonic drive thru after lunch here to feed two of us on the way out to run errands. Unfortunately, waste of time and money. read more

Good service; nice joint; under cooked food. Bun were not browned and chicken was cold in the middle. Pink as it could be. I was hoping for a new neighborhood place...but I did go back and it was exceptionally good (yes I got the same thing). From discussing EATS Diner with others and my own experience. The recipes here, the attitudes of the people, the whole plan is a good one. The actual execution varies. I like these people, I like what they are trying to do. My story seems to be a common one. Nothing special for lunch. Burger was pretty good about on par with 5 guys. Fries were not as good as 5 Guys. Milkshake was basically a small overpriced chocolate milk with whipped cream. First time visiting after reading on-line and some shares from friends on social media. My wife wanted to try somewhere new and the diner is very close to our house. We were warmly greeted at the door and promptly seated. Open plan with varying seating arrangements that can accompany various party sizes. I liked the decor, not overdone and gaudy, but refreshing with nice prints hanging. Bright surroundings. I noticed you can eat at the bar and that it aPpeared you could order a draft beer. The menu-we went for lunch but noticed you can order breakfast all day. Nice assortment oof burgers, sandwiches, soups/salads and deserts- and yes hot dogs!! I got the disco burger and it did not disappoint! It stood its ground with its fantastic chili and cheese and jalapeños but it was no match for my appetite! Delicious! My wife got the Disco Dog- same thing as Disco Burger but a hot dog. Check that- it was two hot dogs! Friendly and prompt wait staff, really good food, fair price-yes we will be back! My spouse and I decided to try this place for lunch bc we had seen it advertised on FB. Needless to say we were VERY disappointed. The service was HORRIBLE and the food was mediocre at best. We ordered a hamburger, some cheese fries with gravy and a turkey sandwich on what was supposed to be wheat berry bread. We also got a water and iced tea to drink which took about 20 min to get. We then didn't get our food for about another 25 minutes. We were just about to leave when the food came out. There were no napkins or silverware on the table so we asked our waitress for some. She brought the silverware promptly but only one napkin. We asked for another napkin but never got it so I ended up having to go get it. Now for the food - the "wheat berry" bread looked and tasted like white Texas toast bread. There were two thinly sliced pieces of turkey meat which looked like it came from a package. Overall, it looked (and tasted) like a sandwich I could have made at home. The french fries looked (and tasted) like they were frozen Ore Ida fries from a bag, the cheese on the fries looked like shredded cheese from a bag and the gravy tasted like it came from a can. The taste of the hamburger was okay but the patty was very thick and the bun was a little dry. It was very disappointing bc it's a cute little deli and has the potential to be very good, but if you don't have good workers and a chef who can think outside the box with great tasting menu items then you're not going to get repeat customers. read more
