His team came out and were efficient, hardworking folks that completed the entire job in 4 days. Installed a very long walk way, dug up and put in river rock on our side yard by the new water feature they installed. Mowed, thatched added top soil to our grass and new grass seed. I was looking for help to do a complete remodel of our backyard. I called around and got multiple estimates. Everyone was super expensive or told us it couldn't be done in the timeline we needed. I got in touch with Eder and thank goodness that I did. He promptly came over to give us an estimate and told us he could start the following week! Talk about fast! We are towards the end of summer and he was able to squeeze us in. He and his crew showed up between 7:15-7:30 each morning and they worked 12 full hours. They were here a total of 3 days, did a complete demo, raised our backyard level between 2-3 feet and brought in the back fill. We had a large tree removed from our front yard that left an absolute mess that we knew we wanted to have cleaned up and looked long and hard for the right crew to get the job done, when we found E & B. We had Edar and his crew out to do a retaining wall in our back yard and they did an amazing job! It was perfect. So, when we needed another wall built he was our first choice. We were not as happy the second time around. We wanted a wall built on the side of our house with some stairs. The stairs and wall were supposed to start about 2 feet further out and 2 feet from our neighbors fence. They are less than a foot from the fence. They were crooked. Also, the wall was built too high and now we have to figure out how to build a fence next to it. when we tried to contact him about our concerns, he ghosted us. read more

When we bought our new "luxury" house in Old Town the flipper who sold it to us did nothing more than put 1/2" of mulch all over everything. When we replaced the "fence" after we decided we wanted to own something more athletic than a guinea pig they recommended E&B to clean up other areas and boy did E&B deliver. Very professional and timely. The crew arrived early every morning and left at dusk. As the days got longer in the few weeks they worked they stayed longer. The cost was right on the quote for the work and they did whatever extra they needed to do to make it look like what I had envisioned. Now the yard actually looks like something I would associate with a "luxury" remodel. Throughout the process Eder was very timely and responsive. He helped make designs that will really stand out as we start to entertain this summer; making several suggestions I hadn't thought of that pulled details together and made the yard look much more cohesive. They even went above the quoted scope of work to make the finished product look as good as possible. The crew made one tiny mistake of blocking the trash on trash day and when I pointed it out it the next day they took care of it (cans were emptied) in just a couple hours. I can't express how much this response to a hiccup is almost as important as how great they did with the planned work. Edar and his crew built us a parking place for our motorhome. The job required both concrete and landscaping. We could not be happier with the results. We were concerned that putting a concrete pad at the front of our house would not look very nice. Once done with the extension to the retaining wall and the landscaping we think it was actually an improvement. Edar and his crew are talented and hard workers. Cannot say enough great things about E & B Landscaping! We live in West Seattle and had a rotting retaining wall built with 35 year old railroad ties in our back yard that needed to be replaced, along with a 30 year old fence that was falling apart. We made some inquiries online and Eder responded immediately and was at our door that week! He gave us a very fair bid and a timeline that worked for us, so we went with them. They also were accommodating for working with two families as we were splitting the cost with our neighbors. Eder's crew showed up early on the day they were starting, and I have never seen a more hardworking crew. They demolished the retaining wall and fence in a single day and had the whole fence and retaining wall completed in 4 days and it looks amazing!! We didn't need anything super fancy and most of the contractors tried to upsell super fancy stones and materials, despite what we were saying we needed. Eder was practical and responsive and his crew did excellent work. Would very much recommend. Only drawback is that they were not very responsive between the day we scheduled and the day they showed up, but it is my understanding that the owners are working on the job site with the team, so it was understandable. *****PLEASE READ******** Avoid the headache and find another landscaper. There are so many of them out there no need to waste your time. 1. He showed up promptly, nice in beginning. There is a language barrier but got passed it. 2. He sends the bid Text message!! For a professional company and high prices to send a bid this way was confusing. 3. Once I agreed on the job , I set up another appointment to CLARIFY the items. Took time off work to meet Eder and go over every item in detail. He acted as he understood , asked me no questions. 4. Start day was the next day. True story 8 am I get a text message asking me what he was suppose to do? Than he asks me about trimming IVY which was nothing we went over the previous day. He keeps calling, finally I take more time away from work to yet again go over a simple job, I explain to Eder how frustrating it is to have to go over this when I had only asked him to do 3 items!! That's it!! 3 items!! He gets an attitude back with me and that's all she wrote. I won't work with people like this . I can only imagine to all of you that may hire this man to do a 20,000 plus job, you would have to hold his hand the entire project. I've been in this industry 18 years and have seen companies that act this way out of business quickly. Need to check his license and workers comp account next. read more
