I accepted a bid to hydroseed my yard by the Martinez Brothers Landscaping 3 weeks ago. I asked when they would begin, and they told me soon. I then did not hear back from them until I prodded them for a reply and they said "we are busy." Then I heard nothing from them until I prodded them again about 10 days later and their response was, in so many words, " we are very busy, find someone else to do the job." Unfortunately, this is the way MANY contractors now operate--I'm not surprised by their cavalier treatment of customers. My property was in rough shape and has been for some time. They saw way more potential in it than I did. I honestly can't believe the difference. They built a retaining wall around my front raised flower bed and disposed of the prior old rockery. They reseeded my front yard and completely pruned my Camellia bush so that it looks fresh and new. I asked them to mow my back yard, and they mowed, edged, weeded rockeries, and cleaned up debris. All without ask. Repaired a tree-damaged fence post. Spread mulch in areas that tailored my front and back yards. I hadn't realized it was even possible to make those areas look intentional. They were very affordable, reliable, and some of the hardest working men I've ever seen. There was a slight supply problem that slowed them down one day, so they stayed until after dark a few days following to be sure the project was completed as close to on time as possible. My lot is pretty large and they cleaned it up in record time. When I try...goodness...takes me hours to barely dent it haha. They might know what they're doing but you can have a super small yard and yet these guys will still want to charge you big.

These guys do great work for a fair price. They came and weeded around the whole house, trimmed bushes, edged the lawn, put down tarp and spread bark all in 2 days. I'll definitely hire them again. read more

I submitted a quote request through Yelp, I received a response quickly, a bit over a day later Eugenio showed up to give me an estimate, and a bit over a day later, the small crew showed up and my yard cleanup is DONE! The attention to detail is phenomenal. Eugenio knows his stuff and pointed out a few suggestions to help my yard (trimming back certain bushes, removing a bush that was way past its prime). The Martinez brothers told me it would be finished before Saturday - Friday the latest for a very fair price. The whole crew came Wednesday and finished in two hours!
