Went in a couple of weeks ago because the glue they used was failing, and my rear glass was close to flying out. I did not expect a warranty repair after that long, but at least stand by your ads and repair it. Gave me a song and dance about glues not matching that years glue? Huh? remove all the old adhesive, and reglue. I asked to have a tech look at it. Sales person up front said $800 or go to a Mom and Pop shop. I love both my mom, and pop. I trusted them to care for me, and my well being, to love me. So I left and drove about two miles from them to Auto Glass Xperts. Mom greeted me at the door with a huge smile. Quickly had a couple of Xperts look at my glass and give me the lowdown. Yes, they can Repair, yes they can replace. Both services together less than the one option at Safelite. I had it repaired so I could go on a trip. I am back, and now I just had the new glass installed. Both still cost less than SL. The nerve of them to use the term "Mom and Pop", in such a derogatory fashion and think customers that choose smaller shops might not get the best service over theirs. AGX proved to be the Mom and Pop we all need. No catchy jingle, just savings that fold neatly in your wallet. You are paying for glass and labor, not commercials the other guys don't stand by anyway. Despite the hassle and unexpected expense, I had a very positive experience with Auto Glass Xperts from initial contact through the actual home visit and back window replacement. The woman who assisted me during my intake call was polite and professional, despite it being close to closing time. She explained the entire process to me as well as the charges, and assured me someone would come to my home the following afternoon between 1 and 5. I felt the price was reasonable enough that's I didn't bother to shop around for something better and booked my appointment. Brandon showed up at 1pm. He was very professional, courteous, and detailed oriented. He made sure I understood the process and made recommendations on how to deal with any remaining glass that their machines might not be able to vacuum up. He efficiently took care of my window and did a great job. Not only that but there were no surprise charges or anything like that. He also made sure to explain how long Auto Glass Xperts guaranteed their work and how long I should wait before any washing or tinting of my window. I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. Since he offers mobile service, he came directly to me, which was a huge help when I was dealing with a broken windshield at 9am in the morning. Even though he was very busy that day, JC still made time to replace my windshield when no one else in the area could help me the same day. He and his team worked quickly, carefully, and clearly took pride in doing the job right. JC has nearly 30 years of experience, and he took the time to explain everything, address my concerns, and answer all my questions. His price was also very reasonable compared with the quotes I received from larger companies that morning. JC used my VIN to make sure he had available the correct glass for my 2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD. We even compared the manufacturer information on the original windshield and the replacement, and they matched. I was especially nervous about the front camera and safety sensors. -- Since the object struck nearly on top of the sensor (pictures below). When asked, they gave me the quotes separately: 4 doors, + back window, + front window, +panoramic roof. As I use a sunshade, I opted for the 4 doors + back window + panoramic roof, but have the option to add the windshield later if needed. I know nothing about car tint. Jason was wonderful, and explained the differences. I ended up going with the Pinnacle. The windows are legally tinted but nice and dark. The ceramic coating officially keeps 93% of the heat and UV rays out of the car, making this a VERY COOL RIDE! The job took 3-4 hours. The wait was less than 2 weeks to get in here. The value was fantastic, and these guys did a great job! PS. I will be back for the windshield soon! I can now tell the difference, and wish I would have done it with the rest of the car!! 5 STARS!!
