I initially looked up auto glass companies because Safelite went up in price (they're who I've always used for windshield repair and replacement) and they're not close to me now that I've moved. In my research I found Saber. I called the number listed on the site and Shawn the technician answered, giving me a quote for my 4runner with sensors, without and with heat (some models have different features). His pricing was about $90 less AND they're mobile at no extra charge (Safelite charges for mobile). My appointment was set for between 9-11am. Shawn called when he was on his way and the actual installation only took about 30 minutes! Super fast and so far, I'm pleased with the job. I haven't used my heated windows to see how well they work with this glass (it's not cold now, so I will find out come winter). But I know I'll pass inspection now, at least! I was in an accident where a bird decided it wanted to have a relationship with my 2018 Ford Focus. Upon realizing my car was not another bird it self-corrected to late and impaled itself into my windshield causing a large dent. I called to file a claim with my insurance company, GEICO, only to realize they would not pay for the damage and the company they referred me to, Satellite, was going to charge almost $400 to replace the windshield, and, I had to wait until Monday, it was Thursday. That was a big fat NO in my book. I did a google search and called the first three companies listed. The first one did not answer, the second was no longer in business; however, the third one was Saber Auto Glass. Sean was very friendly and could take my appointment earlier than Satellite and charge almost half the price. Great! I scheduled the appointment for the next day. The best part, they would come to me. Before arrival, they called and let me know they were on their way. I was not home, but as soon as I arrived I let them know and within 15 minutes they were there. Upon arrival, they were very business-minded. They evaluated the situation and went to work while I made friends with their lovely puppy dog. All work was professional and completed within 30 minutes. Sean gave me the rundown on when I could wash and remove the blue tap. I paid, tipped and they were on their way. I could not have asked for quicker, more professional, and cost-saving service if I had tried. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing glass service. I had the windshield replaced for my 2021 Land Rover Defender. They broke at least 2 of the trim pieces installing it. They ordered replacement pieces and they could not install them correctly and had to glue one piece on. I used them only because Land Rover could not get a windshield for 6 months. I got a small chip from a rock on the highway on Friday and by the look of it I will need to get my windshield repair as soon as possible. Because it was late on Friday most of the glass repair shops were closed. Unfortunately for me Shawn answered my call. He came out the next day and I had a bad feeling when he brought with him a totally rusted razor blade, a lighter, bottle of resin and the tool with the suction cup. He looked at the cracks and told me that he can fix it can it will take around 5 minutes or so. The next day, I went out and I was disappointed the see two of the cracks reappeared. I called Shawn back on Monday and told him what happened. He told me that he or another technician will come to my house to take a look a redo if they can on Tuesday. Tuesday came I have to call him because he failed to call me as promised. Much later a technician call and said he can only come between 5 and 7 in the evening. I called Shawn back and at this point Shawn told me that if the cracks reappeared I will need to replace my windshield. I checked with several other repair shops and they all told me that once Shawn pour down the resin they can not go in and try to repair it and that Shawn is inexperience guy in doing rock chip repair. Pretty much I lost my money to a dishonest repair shop and may loose my windshield if the cracks spread. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! read more

Two techs showed up on time, gave me a complete rundown on what was to be done and actually did it. Really thought this process would've gone smoothly by the way the phone call went in the morning. The technician arrived on time and was fairly quick to install the back windshield on my truck but once he was done he called for payment and when he told me my total was 45 more dollars than what I was quoted. The forty five dollars wasn't a big deal but the fact that I was asking the technician if he knew why it might have changed and he went on to say it was tax? So I tried to explain it to him that it didn't make sense, how would tax be 45 dollars? He continue to tell me it's not that hard to comprehend and got frustrated because I wouldn't just give him my card like that. All I wanted to know was why it changed so I knew what I was paying for, so he finally just got his office on the phone and they answered my questions and got it solved. Then I realize that the driver never returned my keys and when I called him he said they were in the truck, he left them there after he rolled up the windows, if you're given the keys to a vehicle the least you can do is return them but when going outside to look for them, they weren't there. Luckily he didn't lock the car and had to call someone to get into the truck and get the keys out. Had to call the office to see if they could get him to turn around and return the keys or at least look for them and make sure we got them back. read more

PROS: - The Mysafe Glass technician arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. He finished installing my new window in no time. - Originally, he told me it was not their job to clean up the broken glass from pulling out my window. However, after saying that, he did offer to clean up the glass if I would get him a broom. CONS: - Upon completion of services, the technician asked for my credit card and started dialing on his phone. I assumed he was calling the company office to run my credit card. I asked him if I could be the one to make the call so I would know who exactly is getting my information. HERE'S WHERE IT GETS SKETCHY: He told me that the office was closed and I wouldn't be able to speak to anyone (even though business hours on Yelp say that they didn't close for another 2 hours). So I asked what was he originally planning on doing with my credit card and his phone. He said he was going to type in my credit card number, save it, and run it at a different time. I told him I wasn't comfortable with that option. At this point, he became defensive and things went downhill quickly. He said he does many jobs a day and customers give him their credit card numbers without any hesitation. He tried to prove his point by showing me a customer's personal check (not exactly apples to apples). He didn't understand why I was being so cautious with him and continued to just talk instead of listen to where I was coming from. I tried to explain to him, but he continued to be condescending and rude. He implied that I was overreacting because I didn't want to let him write down my credit card number. Finally, I just asked him if he would be comfortable letting a clerk at a gas station or a waiter at a restaurant write down his credit card number and run it later. He said he wouldn't be comfortable with that either. After some more back and forth, he finally busted out a Square credit card reader! I asked him why the hell he didn't do that in the first place?! He said it was his personal Square and not the company's. He said the company does not provide technicians with Squares and that he was going to have to take a 3% loss by using his personal Square (which shows up on your credit card as Saber Auto Glass by the way). ALL OF THIS BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO LOSE 3%?!?! We finally finish the transaction and the technician leaves. I head inside to call Mysafe Glass to tell them about my experience. Someone answered the phone even though the office was said to be "closed". The guy I spoke to said that he didn't have anything to do with the window/glass department and that I should call the owner when he returns from being "out of the country". The guy I spoke to on the phone even laughed when I told him about the experience I just had. Man, what a couple of stand-up business guys! I often try to support smaller, local businesses as much as possible. They occasionally offer better deals (which is why I chose Mysafe Glass in the first place) and provide better service because it's their own name, their own business, and their own livelihood at stake and not someone else's. Today, this company shat on me in return for my support. I hope you have a better experience than I did, should you choose to give Mysafe Glass a chance. Just be sure to pay with cash, check, and if you must use a credit card.... don't you dare question what the technician is going to do with your credit card number just to save himself 3%.
