I had my windows washed by them on Tuesday. I think they used dirty water out of their truck. I told them I wanted fresh water. They didn't listen. I noticed later that when the came through the windows there were spots still dirty and many streaks. I called twice already and left a message asking if they could come by and redo several of the windows. I cannot reach them, and they don't respond. They must see my number and don't pick up. They were on time and I took advantage of the $6 window deal. Very bad customer service and a poor job. I tried to take a picture of one of the streaked windows, it's hard to see in a photo though. I would recommend anyone not to used there services. they come to my house and left a damaged window that one of the personnel use a ladder next to the window and damage it. When I call they told they could'nt take responsability because they never used the ladder closed to the window. They lie to me because I was at home and I saw them using the ladder on my window. they also told me that you only have a week to claim any damages that's written in the invoice but they never provide me any. I ask for the copy they never send any. Just want to make anyone aware that this could happen to you as well. read more

Wish I had yelped them before getting services. Really sad experience. Was so excited to get our sunroom windows cleaned. They neglected to tell us they couldn't do it when they arrived. When we expressed disappointment at the end of their visit, they said to call the office. Office said we didn't specify what kind of sunroom, so they didn't bring the right equipment. They never asked us "what kind of sunroom." Other windows were just "meh" - streaks here and there. I've waited 4 days for the owner to call and resolve but have heard nothing. Do not use ER Services. I have used them for years to clean gutters, power wash my house, and clean windows. This October I hired ER to clean my gutters and windows. During the window screen cleaning, the workers damaged two bathroom screens. The metal on the outside of the screen was damaged. I called ER who sent men to look at the damage. They said the screens were old, yet these windows are replacement windows. Their response, "Have a nice day." They left without offering to replacement my screens. Why were my other screens cleaned without damage? The company has not simply lost my good business, but my friends who also used them in the past. read more

E & R Services did half of the work. They cleaned the gutters but failed to clean up what was left behind after gutter cleaning: piles of debris was pushed down onto grass, wet leaves/branches blown onto windows, doors, deck floor, siding, table and chairs. I called to complain but the workers couldn't return for four days. I spent two hours cleaning up the mess left behind so we could use the deck over the weekend. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company. read more

E&R Services Inc sent me a coupon for Window Washing. I had previously used this company a few years ago and had used a coupon then for $6 per window, $3 per storm window, $1 per screen and $1 per window sill. I called and booked a date for them to do window washing. I sent a document detailing what type windows I had, and exactly what I wanted washed with their pricing stated above included. They sent a reply stating that the coupon would be applied and final price due at cleaning date. They came out, said the coupon did not apply and despite our in person and telephone calls, would not honor the coupon. I posted a review on Google and their reply was that I wanted storm windows done which were $9 per window, not $6 per window. That does not make sense as I priced it out as $6 per window plus $3 per storm window. Very unpleasant to deal with, did not acknowledge that they did the same job two years ago with the same coupon. Buyer beware!!! Two weeks ago, we hired E&R to clean our windows. First, they counted more windows than what we actually have. When we confronted them, they said they just miscounted. Second, they did not clean all the windows as expected. Again, when confronted, they claimed that they did but because our windows are so old, we did not see the difference. We asked them to clean those windows again as we watched and sure enough the windows were sparkled. We ended up wasting half a day pointing out which windows they did not clean at all or did not clean properly. The bottom line is DO NOT hire this company and it is best to avoid them at all cost! ER Services was prompt, efficient and did an excellent job! They were professional from the call I made to schedule to the workers who came and cleaned our gutters. They did not leave a mess, and even moved things from our deck so that they wouldn't get wet or dirty - I hadn't though about that. We paid $125 without a coupon for a two-story colonial in front, but 3 floors high in the back. This was less than we paid another company 2 years ago, with better results. I highly recommend them. I scheduled this company to clean my windows a month out because they were booked. I waited patiently for cleaning day to come. They confirmed night before and morning of. An hour before arriving they cancelled because of weather. It was a very sunny day with rain forecast late in the evening. I moved furniture & took time off from work to accommodate the crew; not to mention again I waited over a month for them to come out. I asked to speak to the owner, not in office. I asked to speak to supervisor, not in office. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Diana who is related to the owner and very sweet stated my location is too far for a single job. No show! I scheduled with these guys to come out to clean the external windows, and while scheduling, I confirmed the date with the dim-wit scheduler. Then, I took a half-day off and waited until they arrived. No show. I called the agency and they mentioned that I was scheduled for a different day, same time. I had trouble communicating with the scheduler in the first instance, so I confirmed with her twice before hanging up the phone. You should avoid like the plague. read more

ER Services came to my home to clean my gutters today, May 9, 2020. They charged me $100 dollars, which I had no problem paying. They were not at my home a hour. They used my water hose. I have a flower garden in the front. They place the container that hold my water hose on top of my planet in my flower garden. They made a mess on my porch and side walk. They did not clean up after cleaning the gutters. I had to clean up the mess they left behind. They were going to leave a black trash bag in my driveway. Until I pointed out the black trash bag in my drive way. They left branches in my flower garden. I will never use ER Service. I will not recommend ER Services to my neighbors. Okay, I used a coupon in a flyer that showed up in my mailbox.....window washing and other residential and commercial services offered. I took them up on the window cleaning. They offered to clean the screens and the storm windows for another dollar each. And one more dollar to clean the sill between the storm window and the primary window. But that is not the way it was when they showed up at the door and started work. The cost to clean out the sill between the two windows became $12! So I did what I could. Now about the work!!! They took the inserts from the storm windows inside set them on a towel and leaned them up against a WHITE SOFA to clean.....guess what? Yes, they soiled my furniture. On top of that the leaves, bugs, and debris that was stuck to the inserts and screens that they brought into the house, littered the house in every room that they worked in, and since that wasn't part of the window, they did not clean up that mess. Screens got damaged, no apology for doing that, and the attitude of the workers was indignant when asked to perform per the phone conversation when placing the order. I asked them to clean gutters, but they decided that they did not want more work that day and windows was enough. I was willing to pay for that service, but it was probably best that they did not do it. My advice, stay away, get someone from a friend or neighbor.....a pretty ad with coupons does not always deliver a bargain or good services. read more

In dealing with this company beware of the old adage that if something seems too good to be true it probably is! Their pricing is much cheaper than competitors, but my experience is that they jerk customers around. I scheduled window cleaning twice with this company. The first time they surveyed the property & said they had to reschedule because they needed taller ladders, even though I told them it was a four-story townhouse when scheduling. The next available appointment was three weeks later. The cleaners arrived for the second appointment, but were told by the office to cancel because they had trouble removing a screen they wound up bending & because the workers allegedly did not having the correct cleaning solution. I normally don't write reviews but the aggravation of dealing with this company is not worth the savings. read more

Had a scheduled appointment and mentioned their add/coupon i found in a magazine with an expiration date of 12/15/17. Upon arrival additional charges were added such as window sills, larger windows at $20 rather than $10 as previously quoted (exact dimensions were given over the phone), and the coupon was not honored. The manager's solution to the problem "if you dont agree, we dont do the job then. We have other places to be and do work". I used this company since they were half the price of another company that I had received a quote from. The two guys showed on time however it was down hill from there. They did to introduce themselves at the door or say what company they were from. I could see in the driveway there was a black pickup truck with the E and R sticky sign on it. They then pushed there way into the house. At this point I am not even knowing why they need to come into the house. An explanation like- May we come in to remove your screens from your windows- would have been nice. They track mud that was on their shoes throughout my house without a care in the world. My house had just been professionally cleaned the day before. At this point I am thinking honestly what kind of fly by night company is this??? I am used to having workers identify themselves at the door by company and name. Then either take their shoes off or put on booties. I have expensive oriental rugs in my house, however even if I didn't- it's common curtesy. The window came out ok. I did not see then do a water change though out the entire 22 windows, and they used the same dirty towel on all my windows... So I had a lot of concern there. Their lack of professionalism, not putting things back, leaving my gate wide open when they left so my animals could escape, and having no way to write me a bill/receipt tells me that this company is going no where fast. Power washing was fine except they followed up two days later with the gutter cleaning that messed up the siding they cleaned. Gutters should have been cleaned first. When I requested a redo on parts of the siding that was no longer clean, I was told someone would come in a few days. I waited for several hours on the appointed day but no one showed up. When I called, the supervisor spoke to me in an unacceptable manner, offered no apology, and suggested that I hose it down myself. Are you kidding? Very poor customer service. I've used E & R Services several times in recent years to clean the gutters on my Arlington house. My experience with this business has been very positive, from the professionalism and friendliness of the person who answered my initial phone call and scheduled the appointment to the workers who actually arrived at my house on time to clean my gutters. I requested an early morning appointment so that I could be at home when they came without having to take time off, and E & R Services willingly accommodated my request. I also requested that the workers operate from ladders rather than climbing on my roof and standing on my gutters - which, by the way, is standard practice among most companies. This request was also accommodated. The workers arrived on time, worked fast, were polite and professional, spoke English, worked from ladders and didn't climb onto my roof, placed the gutter debris into a garbage bag that they hauled away and didn't leave a mess. The workers flushed the gutters and downspouts using a hose to ensure that they were not clogged, and would have taken a digital photo of the cleaned gutters to show me, had I requested that they do so (I didn't). And they did all this for only $75 (with a coupon from the E & R Services website). Mine is a typical two-story colonial with less than 80' of gutters, and the price may be higher for a larger house. I'll be calling upon E & R Services again next Spring and next Fall. read more

Power washed and cleaned the windows at my home in Woodbridge, VA but when I returned from work I found a broken table that one of the workers had stood on (as evidenced by footprints on the table) which was not reported to me until I spoke to one of the managers. Even then I was given a false explanation regarding how the table was broken. His response was to fix the table and send him the bill. Not how I would have handled it. Can't recommend based on this, regardless of the quality of their work. read more

I have been using E&R Services since 2008 to clean gutters, power wash siding, and clean windows. They cleaned my gutters today and quoted $95 on the phone when we scheduled the appointment. When it came time for payment after the job was complete, the service man said it was $125. I told him I agreed to pay $95 and $125 was a 32% rate increase. He then wrote the invoice for $95, but added this note "this gutter should be $150." I asked why is it now $150 when you said $125? He said it should be $150, but I was giving you a $25 discount. You should be happy you've been paying $95 all of these years. That means they have increased their price 58% since last year. I had no problem paying a reasonable price increase as long as it was communicated when the job was scheduled. So very unprofessional. read more

If I could give them no stars, I would. I had them clean all my windows and screens (cost $155) and it was terrible. They came an hour early and I wasn't home. Fortunately (?) they waited. They left my windows smeared and the screens not clean. When I pointed that out, they made a half-hearted effort to clean them again, but they obviously didn't want to. They used dirty old bath towels to do the cleaning and just smeared things around. I have had my windows cleaned professionally before and it was not like this. I will return to my previous company.
