E&S had a tech and his apprentice come out and quicky unclogged my toilet drain. They have the equipment for all levels of unclogging . I have had two other companies not have the proper equipment on the truck and cost me money without fixing the problems. We called E&S plumbing this Saturday to possibly schedule a service call for a hose faucet leak outside our home. Tony spoke with my husband and me and explained the weekend charges for a service visit and then explained the likely reason for our leak. After talking with Tony we decided to hold off on a service visit and use a different nozzle on our hose to reduce the pressure on the faucet. I had a hose bib that was leaking - not dripping - water was running out of it.  Last year I replaced the seals but that repair didn't last. Called E&S and told them it wasn't an emergency (I stopped the water running by attaching a hose with a nozzle) so Ryan came out a few days later. He looked at the bib and said it would have to be replaced and quoted me an all-inclusive price (trip/labor/part) that was reasonable.  The hose bib connected to the house plumbing under the house for freeze protection but it's fairly easy to get to (you can almost stand up under there). Ryan was finished in about 30 minutes and everything checked out fine. No complaints. read more

Although I imagined the worst, the clog was caused by roots in the drain to the sewer in the street. It was easily resolved and very affordable. I set up an appointment to install two faucets.The scheduler did not mention that E&S does not guarantee their work if the customer buys the faucets. I bought 2 Delta faucets from Home Depot. I could have returned them and bought the faucets from E&S but neither the scheduler nor the plumber who arrived mentioned that important detail. The total Labor only charge $450.00 The hot water faucet in the bathroom leaked all night. It would not shut off after they left. I called for a return visit and was told they would "try to squeeze me in by the afternoon." When I told them I felt I should be one of the first on the schedule I was told "well maybe it won't be till Monday". Clearly showing that I was not a valued customer. I finally got the call that the E&S manager had decided it would be Monday and I would have to pay to correct the poor work done already. I won't be gambling with E&S plumbing again. It's a Friday afternoon so I'm stuck waiting till Monday to try and get someone else. What a mess! Verifiable customer experience. read more

I spoke with a man named Shane on the weekend for an emergency leak from our cistern pump. We've had no running water for days. Yeah, we literally stink. I texted photos and videos and said if it's not doable, no worries, we'll go down the list of plumbers since this was an emergency. He assured me it was doable and said he would have someone sent out first thing Monday morning, 8AM. At 8:30 AM Monday, a lady (Janelle?) from the office called me to say they weren't sending anyone, ever. Because well pumps and cisterns are not offered in their services. I told her about the conversation I had with Shane and asked if I could speak to him. She said he was just busy and they were reluctant to book for him. I got the impression she just wanted to brush me off. No apologies at all. We were willing to wait even another week if we could get a straight answer and a firm appointment, or a referral to another specialist (which is how things usually work in this town--you try to help each other out because skilled service is hard to come by). Janelle didn't even try to work with us. So while the initial contact with Shane seemed positive, the interaction with the office and no-show were really disappointing. I work in the service industry as well, and this is no way to conduct good customer service. read more

My friend had a bathroom pipe plugged and called them. His bathroom was 22 feet from the main sewer line but yet the tech ran 132 feet of clean out line and charged him almost $250 to do it. He called the city the next day and they came right over and told him the tech ran his snake down the city main. What a rip off. Don't recommend this company in any way. read more

First trip to do job plumber was 1 & 1/2 hours late. Looked at job and made appointment to come back 6 days later. I was told on both occasions it was about a 4 hour job. Plumber was courteous but unprepared. Left twice to go get parts. Was told he would be done by noon. Left at 3:30. I missed 1 & 1/2 days of work to be here. I feel there should have been more honesty and be prepared with parts and tools to do job efficiently and in a timely manner. read more

Our small tankless water heater stopped working. My friend Eric with Mammoth Restoration recommended I call April at E & S plumbing. April gave us amazing customer service and scheduled James to visit us ASAP per our schedule. James arrived promptly, checked our system and determined that the heating element reset had been tripped. He got our hot water running again in no time and made recommendations on how to order replacement elements and how to replace them myself when they inevitably fail. E & S charged us a reasonable fee for the visit. We will be calling April and James with our future plumbing questions and needs! read more

They charge trough the roof. They will tell you approximately how much it would cost and when they do work on hourly basis they would take their own time and charge $105 and hour and $160 for OT. I will not hire them for any projects and I do not recommend them as they are here just to swindle money from customers. read more

Top notch. My checklist is quite short when I am looking for a plumber. First, are they responsive? I can't tell you how many times I have had a problem and how difficult it can be to get someone to answer their phone. E&S answered right away and they were able to help me same day. Second, are the any good? Well, they have been able to repair every problem I have had with my old home every time without having to "wait for parts." even with having an older home with older parts. Third, are they affordable? I have 15 properties that I manage and I have shopped many a plumber in my day these guys are by far the most consistant with their pricing. They may not always be the cheapest but in my experience sometimes it is well worth any extra cost to get it done right the first time. Take it from a property manager on this one they are the best. I called a few other plumbing companies and everybody was full and could not take care of my issue for at least a week. E and S was able to come out in 2 days at the time that I needed. Our service man was Ryan, and he did a very good job. Was very professional and respectful and friendly. Most of all it was a tough project it took him about an hour and a 1/2 to 2 hours to complete the job and the bill was only $142.00. I will be using these guys again. read more

I must say E & S Plumbing has come through twice for us now and we are very pleased. We called them today, January 5, 2020, at 8:05 AM and he showed up at 9:00 AM. The trip charge was only $25, not $200 like other plumbing companies charge, and Dan Etch was very helpful. The charge for the total plumbing rebuild of our one and only toilet was $182, all parts, labor, and trip included. We are seniors and this is not something we can do ourselves anymore (we can't get into the space). I do know that Dan had to let three of his plumbers go recently due to poor performance and they now work for a competitor, including the one in October evidently ... he takes responsibility for those workers so any bad reviews from them are probably accurate. The good thing is that the proprietor will take the work himself before keeping bad techs! We highly recommend E & S Plumbing and suggest that if you have a bad experience with a tech, let Dan Etch know right away to give him a chance to make it right. read more

What kind of holiday would it be without a plumbing disaster? Thanksgiving morning and we have all our downstairs toilets overflowing and sewage backed up in the tub. Had my wife call E&S while I was still freaking out, they came out within an hour and had us fixed up in no time, and at a very reasonable charge. Had a plumbing emergency today, Labor Day. Called Rooter Rooter who claimed on their website to have emergency holiday service. No one ever returned my call. After reading reviews I called E & S. Tony answered my call and let me know he could be at my place as soon as he finished with his current customer. Within an hour he and his co-worker we at my door and got right to snaking my clogged sewer line. They were very friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again. read more
