Having been using them for years - at first they were very good, now I am getting ready to file a Small Claims action against them for negligence and bad faith for not following up to the agree payment of $800 to compensate us for their sloppy and dangerous work. About 6 moths ago they installed a new breaker box incompetently Ironically they found the error themselves when our Drier failed - and latter found out we were running a high risk of starting a fire - we were lucky the Dryer just failed, before starting a fire. They fixed the problem, but had to tear up our drywall to fix. They offered to pay us $500 for the unnecessary damage and inconvenience. That was almost 6 months ago, and they have not honored their agreement. My wife has been calling almost biweekly and literally getting the line "check is in the mail." A real run around.... it would take pages to outline management's incompetence, or just fraudulent, business practices. As a side note, our drier failed again, we call another contractor - he found out E Dennis Electrical breaker box fix involved installing a electrical cable from the breaker box, over the top of the Dryer Vent. This cable was cramping the vent it closed - and had to redo our ductwork to fix it. It cost us $134.10 to repair the negligent work of E. Dennis. I have a maintenance contract with this company and they have never come to do the maintenance. They cancel appointments and never come! Additionally, before Christmas I had them come out to look at the heating unit which was problematic (service call not maintenance) and was told I needed a whole new system installed because the system was set up for natural gas when I had propane. This caused me tremendous stress right before the holidays thinking my system was dangerous. They told me to leave the system off until it could be replaced and sent me estimates. Upon contacting my builder (house was only a year and half old), another company came out and said the system was properly installed and safe and did not need replacement (they made a small adjustment). I have asked for both my service call fee as well as the maintenance fee returned due to their incompetence. Additionally when I've called in, the person taking the calls is rude and disrespectful. I had a situation leaving my household with no water. I dug around looking for a plumbing company that said they were 24/7 open, this company claims that. This is far from the truth. They have an after hours call center which is just about as useful as an answering machine, they can't book appointments, they cant dispatch technicians, but worst of all they will lie about this. I called and spoke to a lady early afternoon on Sunday and she asked if I wanted to set up an appointment to which I responded with "only if you can get a technician out today" and she assured me this would happen and it would be a short time before I was contacted with an ETA for the technician. 2.5 hours go by and no call, so I call back and was told technicians are just busy in the field and would be a bit longer before I was contacted. At this point I have full faith that someone will be coming by that night. Then 9:30 pm rolls around and still no call. I have waited and waited and put off the idea of just getting a hotel so that I could shower. I call them back at 9:30 and finally get some one who is honest and tells me that no one is in the office and everyone I have been speaking to was just in an after hours call center that just puches the information they collect to the actual office with seems to only be open on weekdays from what I have learned. They finally call back on monday morning around 8:20 am and I explain my distain with the whole situation. The lady asks if I'd like to speak to a manager like that would fix something. Long story short, 30 minutes on youtube and a discover of the plumbing connections known as Sharkbite and the problems were all solved for under $100 including some new tools. read more

We had Brett and Caleb come out to our house to rewire our entire house. Starting out, it was amazing; updates on the house everyday AND it was only suppose to take a week to finish (give or take). Something happened (not my business to put out there) but one of the workers was let go, after that; it went to hell. They was taking their sweet ole time and three weeks later, the lights are finished now we have to wait for the drywall guy. I understand things happen that alter the time frame but it felt like they was taking their time to get one of the dudes out of his money, but it was all happening on our time as well. One last thing, we spent 20,000+ to get the house rewired; we don't want those cookies and little ole cooler; get a cleaning services instead so your costumers can enjoy their newly lit home because your men make a MESS! And it would be nice to have your guys lined up PROPERLY so no one has to come out to our house while we are here, yall had three weeks...!!! First 2 techs couldn't locate issue and the third tech Nic came out today and after about 30 minutes located the issue and repaired it. They were supposed to clean all three of my furnaces. Charged me $399 to do so, and paid it in advance by the way per their request . The guy was here 45 minutes to clean three furnaces nothing was cleaned. He did not have anything of a vacuum or even a brush or even a cloth to wipe anything off. He told me one needed absolutely nothing and he only spent about five minutes there. The other two he took pictures and showed me some dust, but didn't clean anything. Buyer Beware - Maintenance Plans!!! Used E-Dennis for a repair. They did my repair and sold me an annual maintenance plan. With this plan you get repair discounts and 'free' electrical, plumbing & HVAC inspections at further dates. You can't schedule them all the same day! Once these 'free' inspections are performed their sales service guy will try to sell on products to upgrade your current plumbing, electrical or HVAC systems. These products have nothing to do with your annual maintenance plan. Their maintenance process is just basically a system inspection check to try and sell you system upgrades. They will replace a filter but will not clean any dust found in a blower or inside the unit. My last HVAC inspection, the repair guy noted that my blower fan inside my unit had minor dust clumps on it. The dust was not cleaned off the blower during this inspection! Instead they tried to sell me a whole house duct cleaning service. How is this maintenance?!?! The company also attempted to schedule separate plumbing and electrical inspections included with my maintenance plan which I kindly declined after realizing they would also be sales pitches for product system upgrades on my plumbing and electrical. read more

Levi was patient in answering all of our questions and didn't mind staying late to do so. He is extremely knowledgeable and provided several options for us. My husband and I started this journey back in May, 2024 when our electric panel started smelling like stink bugs. We knew it was serious and called several electric companies late at night. E. Dennis was the only company that called us right back and had someone come out early the next morning. He replaced all of our box connections and we signed up for the maintenance visits. We were seriously considering whole house water treatment because our water was hard and sometimes smelled like the local pool. We ended up getting the Halo Carbon Filter Whole House Filtration & Conditioning System. We were also looking to have our ducts cleaned but ended up having them replaced because they were so old and couldn't be cleaned. We have liked in our house for 30+ years and have had many animals over the years. This company is fantastic to work with and I'd like to give a shout-out to several folks for being professional and courteous, including but not limited to: Ashley, Kirk Brown, Joshua Mullen, Brandon Shields, Jamie Blackstock, Ulices Morales and Jonathan Timms. There were a couple of guys who came out with Ulices to help with the duct replacement, but I don't remember their names. I'm a first time home owner and this was my first time having an issue with my AC unit. Saturday night I turned my AC on because it was 85 degrees in the house. I left my house and came back 2 hours later and it was still 85 degrees. I thought maybe it was my Nest causing the issue so I waited until Sunday to test again and had the same issue. I went outside and checked the AC unit and the fans wasn't moving. It was 91 degrees outside and 86 degrees inside and I knew I needed service. With this being a holiday weekend, I just knew I would have to be in my house without AC for a least 2-3 days. I called around and everyone had an outrage fee just to have someone come out to look at the unit on a "holiday" Sunday. With a quick search I found E Dennis AC and gave them a call. Within 40 minutes, Brock was at my door ready to work. Less than an hour Brock had my AC back up and running. This has been amazing service. Brock educated me on what was causing the issue, he gave me a price break down, and what he had to do to resolve it. I'm now relaxing with my AC colder than a polar bear toe nail. Don't hire them for any electrical work. Totally incompetent in that area. I hired them because I had no light in one part of the house, and when I tried turning things on my breaker would trip. Their technician came and kept telling me my breaker wiring was not according to the code and he had to change it. I have owned the house for more than 30 years and no electrician ever told me my breaker wiring was against the code. I had had many electricians in the house over the years. Against my better judgement I told him to fix the alleged problem. I was hoping after that he could fix the real problem with the lights. He played around with some switches and charged me for $800, and told me he really did not know why I had no light. He said he had to come back another day to finish the job, and had to charge me more to figure out what might be wrong. Waste of $800. I tried talking to a manager. I called 4 times and no one returned my call. Stay away from their electrical department read more

They were called last month to repair a water leak outside near our street meter. Initially, the plumber mis-identified the type pipe to repair. My builder needed to get involved to help him identify it properly. Once known, he let me know they didn't have the needed part, but would source it asap in order to repair the leak. The company called 3 days later to let me know they were still searching and would let me know that it would be repaired as soon as they found it. I didn't hear from them again. Ten days later with water still leaking, I texted the plumber direct to ask the status and he seemed confused and didn't reply thereafter. I found a different plumber and it was repaired within 2 days. I've since called the company 5 times asking to speak with management. A customer service agent replied once, but none of the managers has returned my call to date. Hard to believe management can be that unresponsive. Mistakes happen, but failure to rectify poor performance is really bad for business. read more

Never use this company never. My family owns three homes they handled service for all for several years. They installed Lenox units. at some point in the last year or so they tell us that they went through a software and company philosophy change if you are a really good customer you must pay for a full year of service in advance. When they come out to do the summer service you must go ahead and pay for the fall service six or eight months later that will be done. Kind of like buying milk today But not needing it until December if you opt to use it. . they were really jerks about it. We purchased a set of gas logs from Austell Gas but Austell Gas doesn't install the logs so they gave us the number to E Dennis to do the install and we called and made the appointment. James came out and knew exactly what he was doing. He was professional, fast, clean and nice. Once he got the logs in he showed me how to work them. We did all paperwork and payment on an iPad. Very simple and easy. There was only one issue. Austell Gas quoted one price that was half of what E Dennis charges for the job they completed. This made us nervous for a second but E Dennis pretty much honored the quote and we were very happy with the cost. The logs are working and our home feels nice and toasty!!! read more

Had a Freon leak- Luckily, a tech was able to get out to our home same day but we were charged $139 for an "After Hours" fee because he was coming after 5PM. Checked the line-set coming from the unit, said it was leaking and offered up a $100 dye test through the system to see where it was leaking.. Couldn't really afford that extra seeing as though it was already well over $500 to have the tech add freon at over $100 per pound. I realize the cost of living has gone up but DAMN!! I asked the tech why 410a costs so much, he replies with "Well, I can stop now and you can just pay me what I put in".. SIR! Not an answer. I realize it was 6PM and I am sure dinner was waiting but seriously?? It took 30 minutes for him to LOOK, Add Freon, and take my money... Freon leaked out within a day. Had another tech come out. Pulled out a handheld device, took 5 minutes, and found the leak. Fixed the leak and charged the system back up.. less that what I paid this company. Would not recommend unless you are in a pinch... or just desperate! read more

My A/c was not cooling so I called this company, Paid service fees and was told my unit needed to be replaced. The tech claimed there was a leak in the system and according to him, there was a serious leak " his tool was going crazy". The quote for a new system was over $3,000 for the least expensive option. Thank goodness, i said no and told him I wanted a second opinion before spending that type of money. Another company came out and found no leak in my system. The repair was made at a fraction of the cost and my home has been cool since. I called the company to inform the company of a possible bad tech, never received a called back so I assume it was not the tech, but the culture at the company.
