My teeth cleaning was great, friendly staff. They said I had 3 cavities, one of which they were going to just watch because it wasn't a full cavity. I had never had a cavity in my life so had no idea the process for this. I go in for my filling and tell them I just wanted 2 filled and to talk about the 3rd. They went ahead and filled all 3 without my consent. I then had to return 3 times to have my teeth leveled out from the filling and it was still never right. I couldn't eat on the left side of my mouth for 1.5 years. Also when I flossed the filling teeth it felt like my teeth would rip out and they said there is nothing wrong. It took 1.5 years after this horrible filling job for my bite to feel normal again. I will never return or recommend anyone. I have been coming to this office for over two years mainly because it is walking distance from my home. I usually wait 20-30 minutes for my appointment, which I understand. However, yesterday (3/10/26) at 6 PM, I ended up waiting an entire hour in the chair, which is unacceptable. I came in with my husband, and the assistant asked whether I wanted to do my X-rays first or if she should start with him. I said it did not matter, and she chose to start with my husband. Fifty minutes later, I was still sitting in the chair waiting. No one explained that I would have to wait until my husband finished before they could see me. When I went to the front desk, there was no one there. When I finally spoke to the assistant, she said they were short-staffed, but no one apologized. Instead, they simply offered to reschedule my appointment. The assistant was also rude and did not know how to properly speak to patients. This experience was very disappointing and unprofessional. I will not be coming back to this office. There are many newer and more professional offices available. I would avoid this place at all costs. read more

First of all I don't know if any African Americans go to this place and it's f they do I didn't see any while I was sitting for two and half hours today! On my first visit Karen at the front desk told me if I didn't like the over priced I can go where I got it fixed which I thought was very rude! I paid the 250(dollars) to remove my bridge while the doctor was removing it for the second time she broke the screw in my implant and never told me she just sent me to another doctor that actually have experience with implants. So when I came back they charged me another 200(dollars) after she broke the denture by sawing it unevenly, the doctor that she sent me to told me she lied and never told him that the screw broken! Went in for a basic cleaning. I checked in at 6pm. Was promptly seated in the dentist chair. Sat until about 6:10pm before Dr Emily came in to speak with me and start the cleaning. When I checked out and paid my copay at the end, it was 6:19pm. She rushed through the cleaning. It didn't even take 10 minutes. Did not polish every tooth surface but rather swiped through all teeth very quickly. Also when scraping off plaque and tartar, she was rushing so fast, sometimes she'd completely miss my tooth and just poke my gums. If you are rushing to get out of the office, do not schedule patients at 6pm and set your close time earlier. What an absolute disappointment. I specifically chose this dentist for both my wife and I based on the reviews, pictures of happy staff, and convenient location. We could have seen any other dentist MONTHS sooner, but chose to wait for this one for the aforementioned reasons. Choosing your dentist shouldn't be taken lightly, and you should look for one that values the customers wants and needs, and is knowledgeable in their practice, with a clean environment and modern tools and tech. The appointment was specifically for a CLEANING and a check-up. Well, they did the check-up part, with an actionable plan for the next several visits, which included several treatments (+ recommended continued treatments) for deep cleanings, which are quite costly even with insurance. That's all fine- and I can't speak to how much of that is necessary versus how much of it is an upsell. It could very well be 100% necessary and 0% upsell. However, when asked for a basic cleaning, the dentist said it wouldn't mean anything and to do the deep cleaning on the next visits. We're talking about hundreds of dollars PER VISIT. So they wouldn't just do a basic cleaning. Are you serious? How many dentists have you been to that don't do basic cleanings BY DEFAULT? And how many do you know that say no to doing it after you ask them to, WHICH IS WHAT THE APPOINTMENT WAS FOR? Can you see how leaving with nothing but x-rays, and a $6000 plan-of-action over the next 4 visits looks like a scummy sales tactic? Can't even be bothered to do a cleaning? I had a bad experience here. The doctor was very nice in the beginning and put me at ease, but later when she reviewed my x-rays I got all the scare tactics - that my teeth were in terrible shape and I needed an expensive deep cleaning. I take good care of my teeth and I've never needed a deep cleaning in my life. But she pushed and pushed and even though I told her that I wanted a basic cleaning she refused to do that for me. Then I switched back to PPO and the next dentist I saw, who came highly recommended, said there was nothing at all wrong with my teeth. So be careful. read more

I went to the dentist office years ago. They try and talk you into doing something such as having a deep clean when you're simply not interested in doing so nor do you need one, especially if your gums are pink and healthy. Second one when my mom went in not that long ago because she thought well I'll try the dentist office. I have the insurance let's see what goes on. She went and got the same thing with her try and talk her into getting a deep clean getting this done getting that done. Especially when your insurance doesn't cover most of what they recommended that she do and that you have to pay out-of-pocket for it I don't think so. So she found somewhere else to go and got what she needed to have done for a fraction of the cost of what they were going to charge her. Do not go to the dentist's office. I had always liked this location for my dental treatments. I unfortunately had to cancel twice for falling ill recently. I understand that cancelling isn't ideal but if someone isn't well and especially in a time where viruses are rampant and the goal is to avoid spread and that is my concern I dont appreciate the rudeness and curtness from the receptionist and demanding for a deposit. My appointment was 10 and the business opens at 10. I understand its best to call earlier but especially when explaining im sick and unfortunately life happens and there no need for the rudeness, shortness and lack of understanding. I understand if a policy or fee needs to be explained but this should have been handled better, with more tact and comfirmations should be sent earlier. I went here as a new patient needing a cleaning. I spent 2.5 hours at the office and left with 11 procedures lined up, thousands of dollars of work scheduled, and no cleaning done. If a patient calls asking for a cleaning, don't agree to it and then not perform the cleaning. My experience mimics that of all of the other negative reviews on here. The doctor first tries to identify weaknesses in your hygiene and hopes to capitalize on it. Flossing daily, teeth grinding, brushing too hard. If she can't catch you on one of those, she tells you you're genetically predisposed to bad teeth. Scare tactics with a pamphlet of pictures of what gum disease looks like are presented to justify the onslaught of work she has planned for you. I got a second opinion from a friend who is a practicing dentist and he disagreed with the laser treatments and enamel abrasions cited in my report. I can't help but feel targeted by this office due to the insurance I have. It feels like they try to squeeze every penny out of you and your insurance provider to their benefit. I hadn't seen a dentist in almost 10 years because of a traumatizing previous dental experience. Dr. Utagawa & the entire E-Dental center staff were wicked amazing!!! They explained every cost before treatment & allowed me to choose what & how I wanted things done. They made a referral for me after double-checking if their referral was covered by my insurance. Then they streamlined the process by sending over my chart & X-rays to the other doctor. They heard my concerns and actually addressed them. They didn't try to upsell me on cosmetic procedures I didn't want. And best of all... they fully explained the reasons for their recommendations. Even going so far as to offer alternatives to the more expensive yet efficient recommendations. My only critique would be to get more puppy photos on the monitor! read more

I've only had one cavity after not seeing the dentist for a full year. I moved and needed a new dentist. e-Dental was a 5 minute walk from my new apartment. I went to see them at my regular 6 month check up. They told me I had 7 cavities and extreme gum recession, total up to $1500 worth of work needed. I didn't go through with the work they suggested because I had just seen a dentist 6 months ago, and I floss everyday - how could my teeth and gums go down hill so fast? I also thought it was fishy that every single person that entered the dental office that day was having major work done and not just a basic cleaning/check up. I had them send me my x-rays and shared them with my cousin who's a dentist and she said I MAYBE had one cavity and if I flossed it would go away. Fast forward 8 months, I returned to my usual dentist all the way in Long Beach - they reported I have no gum issues and no cavities. Came here for a cleaning and switched dentists after my experience. - The upsell tactics noted by other users here is real. Said I needed a deep clean and some other treatments. I did the deep clean only cause I trusted in her diagnosis. Went to see another dentist a few months later and they were surprised why I even needed a deep clean in the first place, and my teeth were in good shape. Dr. E also said needed a root canal and referred me to another specialist. When I visited the specialist, they noted that they were confused on why I even went when my teeth was in good shape. - There was confusion on billing with my insurance and the front office lady called me to yell at me, when it was an issue between their office and insurance. I have been visiting e-dental center for almost two years now. Dr. Utagawa is the most caring, friendly, and gentle dentist I have ever visited. I needed a few cavities filled and was really tense and nervous due to a previous bad experience with another dentist but Dr. Utagawa was so gentle and kind that it made the experience a lot more manageable. I appreciate Dr. Utagawa's focus on prevention and providing state of the art treatments (such as laser cleaning which I have done) so that I never get back into the situation I was in with unhealthy teeth. I also have never felt rushed while there and I feel that the cleanings are really thorough because my teeth and gums feel so much better after one. See below on why I did not enjoy my experience with Dr. Utagawa. Always use dentists referred by someone you trust, don't pull their name from Yelp or your insurance website. I got a second opinion from a friend's reference after seeing Dr. Utagawa and it was night and day. 1) The first visit is a "consultation" which they were NOT upfront about when I scheduled the appointment. They just took some XRays and then Dr. Utagawa talked to me about her "analysis." Most first visits with a dentist include a basic cleaning but I did not get a cleaning today because she wanted me to sign up for Deep Cleaning. 2) Dr. Utagawa told me that I am experiencing Periodontitis, which is even worse than bad gingivitis and requires expensive and reoccurring Deep Cleaning. It really scared me because it is not only expensive, it also sounded painful. See below for a pic comparing my teeth to her pamphlet describing what Periodontitis looks like. That's when my internal alarm started going off. ** note that I have been brushing and flossing my teeth religiously for as long as I remember. Quip makes me remember to brush for two minutes min. The dentist I got a second opinion from said that I had no gum problems, because when he did his cleaning (it was a very thorough clean) I had no gum bleeding. He said I barely even had gingivitis. I was in need of a dentist and found E-Dental center to be just on the skirts of my neighborhood. I usually don't need much from the dentist, and it being nearby was great for my schedule. The first visit I had was a cleaning. They were pretty decked out in PPE and seemed to have made the appropriate alterations to their small office. These folks did a full set of Xrays. I'm not really sure if that was necessary, but I'm also not a dentist. Finally Doctor Utagawa came and started the cleaning work. Now admittedly my gums aren't great, so this part usually leaves them a bit tender. But I wasn't prepared for just how ROUGH she was on my gums. This is without a doubt the most aggressive cleaning of my life; my gums were sore for days. After the cleaning, they revealed that I had 3 cavities that needed to be filled, as well as started pushing me to accept an oral cancer screening for an additional fee. This last part weirded me out; I've literally never been upsold on dental procedures in my life. I declined. There is about a 5 month break here, as I had an oral surgery that I was healing from, as well as insurance shenanigans and job changes. I needed new crowns for two of my frontmost teeth (7 & 8) and the old insurance wouldn't cover it. Finally, the new insurance approved the cost and I went in. What I didn't realize at the time, was that this was going to be a 2-part procedure. Why wouldn't a pre-op be done over the phone or in reception? All I was given that day were some papers to sign giving my consent to the procedure. It's very important to say that I received almost 0 pre-op info of what'd actually be happening. The doctor started by rubbing numbing over my gums to which I asked "what is that for?" to which she replied "to numb you", something of which I had NO idea that was going to be happening. I started to get a cold sweat, completely unaware of what exactly was going down. Next she pulled out the numbing needle, to which I am somewhat accustomed to. I'm not afraid of the dentist or pain, and I have been numbed many many times before. But nothing could've prepared me for the lightning strike of pain that jolted through my gums when she inserted the needle. I jumped, I winced, I teared up; this hurt like hell! I've never EVER been in pain like that in a dental chair before, and I've broken my own tooth. I'd say I'm pretty accustomed to pain! But this was something else. The dremel tool they used to shave my tooth down was either leaking or spitting water out for a majority of the procedure, which leaked down my face and into the indent of the headrest I was in, soaking the back of my head and hair. I tried to mention this at one point (as did the dental assistant), to which the doctor wiped my face with a cloth, clumsily placed it on the side of my face, and continued to leak water down my face for the majority of the visit. It was not going well. During all this, both the assistant and the dentist were only "semi-focused", and were shouting at the receptionist on how to do their job or just chatting. They finally started doing fitting for the temps, but couldn't decide on a color shade. So they asked me what I thought. Now, I had been wearing an orange-tinted visor while staring into a light for the majority of this visit, so I knew I wouldn't be able to tell (nor did I want to look at my mangled mouth). They insisted even after I said "I don't think I can tell", and lifted my chair, sending the reservoir of water from the headrest down my back. They gave me a mirror and I saw the horrendous nubs of tooth left in my mouth with an orange tint from the light and visor from the last 90 minutes. I was horrified, and I hated that I had seen myself like that. They quickly made a decision on their own after this and crudely fitted the temps in. I was then told that the final crowns would take two weeks to get in the office, but was told to schedule for over a month away. At this point I lost my patience; "A MONTH?!" to which they responded "Yeah, we'd have scheduled you in two weeks, but our office is going on vacation then." Why in the hell would you schedule the first of a 2-part procedure JUST BEFORE AN OFFICE VACATION?! Is that not basic timekeeping? The temps also had this sort of gap/flair right before the gumline, and sort of a hook that my tongue caught on. I was honestly traumatized by this, and did not want to go back in to finish it. I searched my options and ended up going elsewhere to re-do the work. The new office was a complete turnaround; next to no pain, comfortable chairs WITHOUT water leaking down my face, no distracted conversations, and far better quality temps that look good and feel good in my mouth. To give E-dental Center credit, after voicing my displeasures over the phone they did offer me a full-refund for the procedure which I accepted; but I just know that no one should have to live through my experience at any medical office, regardless of good intentions. read more

Terrible. The staff was friendly and helpful, however my issue is with the dentist, Dr. Utagawa. She did not have good bedside manner and I felt like she was trying to scare me into upgraded benefits. I live near e-Dental so despite reading the bad reviews, I wanted to give this place a try. Boy was that a bad decision! e-Dental felt like a place for business and not an office where the doctor has you health and best interest at heart. I felt like I was talking to a car mechanic when I was being yelled at by the doctor about how terrible by gum recession was and that I suddenly had 5 cavaties despite never being told this at my check up a year ago. I was very picky with who I wanted as a dentist. I had only bad experiences as a child going to the dentists. Not because of all the shots and the dental work, but because of the dentists ridiculing me as a child saying I wasn't a bad child who didn't know how to properly clean my teeth. I since then never went to the dentist, but I knew I needed it badly. It was a very welcoming and great experience with me going here. She went over everything from educating me on what was going on with my teeth to the costs and dental insurance. I am so glad I went here. She was really sweet, understanding, and encouraging. I thought I was gonna get some okay cleaning but I have never seen my teeth this cleaned and this white before. She puts teeth whitening to shame with her deep cleaning skills. I saw my teeth in the mirror as soon as I got in the car. I wanted to cry because of how happy I was seeing how it really turned out. I really gained my confidence back. Went to get my teeth cleaning /exam with Dr. Utagawa. I walk in and am instantly greeted by the front desk. Right away I notice how clean and well put together the office is, I mean I don't know about you but the restrooms are important too! It was super clean and they provide lotions and creams. Very thoughtful! The dr was very thorough with explaining my dental needs, the assistant was also really attentive and would ask if I was comfortable. Context: I started coming to e-Dental after a couple of years of neglecting my teeth and avoiding dentists. I have had only positive experiences here. My first visit was a "consultation", which means they take x-rays and basically come up with a plan to address whatever issues come up. This office visit was totally free under my insurance. After getting the x-rays done, Dr. Emily explained the problems I had, some of which I already knew about and some of which were news to me. I sat with an office clerk to discuss the proposed treatment plan, and she explained my insurance and costs in detail. I never felt pressure to do any unnecessary procedures, and I did feel like I walked away with a good understanding of what I needed to get done. Given all that, I came back several times of the next several months to take care of routine cleanings as well as to have several cavities filled. Each time I have been treated in a friendly manner by the whole dental staff. Dr. Emily always tells me that if I notice any kind of problem in the following hours or days to give her a call so that they can make it right again, but I have never had to do that because her work is always done right the first time. Also...TEXT REMINDERS! How great is that?? The week before and like a day before your appointment, they send you a text reminder. That's awesome and helpful. Be very suspicious of the positive reviews here as I had almost the exact the same experience as others who gave negative reviews. This isn't a question of whether Dr. Emily has credentials. This is a matter of having a doctor with integrity. It is abundantly clear that this place is after getting the most amount of money possible given all the extra treatments she tries to get you to do. When I made my appointment they didn't tell me I wouldn't get a cleaning but a "consultation" first. This is where they take forever taking x-rays (way too many too) and then actual photographs of your teeth. The dr. then came and looked at my teeth and tells me what work I should get and that while I didn't have cavities I had "surface cavities" on four teeth that needed drilling. After nearly an hour I demanded to be done as I had to get back to work and the so called surface cavities are actually just teeth stains that I've had for YEARS. No changes or anything to remotely make these what surface cavities are. My family dentist who has handled cavities and root canals on members of my family has never once mentioned that the stains on some of my teeth are anything to worry about. Has never once made any mention of them at all. As my x-rays showed I have no symptoms of cavities. Plus, he would not hesitate if I did have surface cavities that needed to be taken care of. If he did I would trust him to do what was needed. I knew as soon as the doctor said 4 of my teeth needed to be drilled she was just after more money. My office visit here with my insurance cost me only $5. I really hope people do more research. I should have looked here first and seen the bad reviews. It is a clear red flag given that the reviews with high marks are all short and from people who hardly review. Take it from those of us who do a lot of reviews. Go somewhere else. read more

I came to e-dental because it was listed as a dental office within my insurance's network. The dental office was nice and the parking was easy. After sitting with the dentist for about a half hour she told me my receding gum line was a problem but before she could work on that she needed to perform two deep cleans and fix 14 cavities. Each one costing about $80. Altogether I was looking at about a $1500-$2500 procedure. Luckily COVID put all of this on hold until I recently went to a different dentist and had a completely different analysis of my mouth. They told me I had no cavities and all I needed was a deep cleaning (I hadn't had one in over two years). I asked again if the x-rays showed anything unusual but he said: "Sorry, I couldn't find anything. You have good teeth." I then asked about my receding gum line and he instructed me to brush lightly and come back in 6 months to see if it's any better. But by the looks of it he said I probably don't need any work done... Seems like E-Dental was probably looking to perform more of a preventative procedure on me even thought it wasn't entirely necessary. read more

Update to my last reviw Dr. Emily and her assistant Erika are the best! This is the best dentist I have ever been to. I needed molds taken of my upper and lower teeth and was very nervous, because the last dentist I went to who I wrote a review about my experience, made it a painfully terrible experience that had me screaming in pain and crying. Erika and Dr. Emily were so gentle that having the molds done didn't hurt one bit. I have a bridge and the teeth holding the bridge are loose. Erika said there was a chance the teeth and the bridge might come out when then take out the mold after it sets. They took extra care to make sure that didn't happen, and I left with my bridge in tact. They are so caring. After I had a deep cleaning, with root planing and scaling, Dr. Emily called me that evening and the next day to make sure I was OK. I need some major dental work done and Erika called me to explain everything that need doing. I had a lot of questions she was very patient and spent a lot of time on the phone with me to make sure all my questions are answered. Was recommended here by a close friend and I can say I would strongly recommend this dental office. First off the office is beautiful and nice compared to many rundown places I personally have visited. The staff is very friendly and professional, they know you from a first name basis. Dr. Emily and her assistant Jhoanna were very thorough in their diagnosis. The x-rays were the fastest and I did not feel discomfort at all compared to other places. They discovered a couple of issues with prior work and offered solutions with no pressure at all to get unnecessary procedures. I have been coming in now to get work done and they are able to accommodate my fees with payment plans that work with my budget. One of the nearest Dental Clinic from my apartment. I am really afraid of going to the dentist but coming here, made me at ease (honestly, I am still). Went here because I know I have a tooth infection, and my hunch was right! and After the consultation with Dr. Emily, I found more issues (which I am not surprised because I haven't been to a dentist for almost 4 years). She planned out all the treatment I need to undergo and told me that I can schedule the procedures if I want to. Erika was nice to show the list of procedures and how much it is and how much is my insurance covers it. The only thing that is holding me off with the other procedures is, well they are expensive (which is I'm not surprised with any dental/medical treatment) and what my insurance can cover. Anyway, I had a tooth extraction for the infected one plus the other teeth that is really broken. I was really anxious with the tooth extraction but Dr. Emily, Joanna and Yumi made sure that I'll calm down. during the tooth extraction, i felt some pain (which is I know is normal) but Dr. Emily made sure that if I felt a pain, she'll stop. And 5 days later, voila! -5 teeth and no more infection. I will recommend this clinic to my friends and she will tell you what's wrong with your teeth and she will tell you how to take care of it properly. The office is clean and about the music (like the other reviewer said), I liked the background music. It was Pop and R&B so it's fine for me (even if I prefer rock and alternative LOL!) I gotta be honest, I had a fairly uncomfortable experience at this office in my two visits. It's a nice office, clean and full of modern equipment, but being made to wait 20-30 minutes after showing up on time twice is a little frustrating. But fine, LA is a busy place... First day I got my x-rays and the doc proceeded to tell me what procedures she recommended. I'd only scheduled x-rays and a cleaning, but here I am getting upsold on $1100 of procedures that, well, maybe I needed them--she recommended them--but I was confused as to what my insurance covered, so I thought I'd kept it simple by asking for the cleaning and "splurging" for the antibacterial rinse. I come in the next day, wait another 20 minutes in the chair before starting the scaling part of the cleaning. OUCH, she kept hitting sensitive spots in my gums with the electric scaler and it was painful! Then there's the sensitive tooth I had fixed by my previous dentist last summer, which is very sensitive to heat, cold and air, something I'd told the doc during the previous day's exam. Sure enough, air was blown in that spot, and the assistant hit it with cold water rinse, setting off alarms in my head. I know they weren't trying to torture me--I had a sensitive tooth--but the experience grew more stressful, and I've had plenty of dental work done in the past without such stress. Then comes the bill. Despite having insurance I'm still charged $320 bucks for what I thought was a basic cleaning. Well, it turns out there is a difference between a basic cleaning (which would have been free) and a "deep" cleaning, which ends up not being covered. Part of me needs to take the blame for this for not asking more explicitly what my FINAL costs would be (I'd only received the estimate with all the recommendations). Still, I wish it wasn't so confusing, and I'd gotten something along the lines of "Do this stuff for free under your insurance, but we recommend these other procedures as well--not necessarily today (or absolutely today), but eventually." I mean, I did cleanings twice a year under my old dentist without insurance and it was usually in the $100-200 range. With insurance is $320? Learn your policies and ask questions, folks. read more

I went in with tooth pain above an implant. I have seen many dentists and know what to expect. The Examination seemed to be very thorough and the Doctor took time to explain all the details which was greatly appreciated. I asked for all my options and she did not hesitate to disclose treatment options with the goal of saving my real teeth. She suggested a root canal and crown. I thought it was a little extreme however she said thats the best way to treat this. She prescribed me antibiotics 500mg TID. I explained I try to stay away from this unless needed and she said it is needed due to infection. Well I knew I had to get a second opinion because something did not seem right. I was very disappointed to learn after seeing a specialist that there was no infection it is just nerve irritation, it may not require root canal at all. However because antibiotics were started it is masking what is really going on and so now I have to go back for a consultation. Very disappointed that Emily started me on antibiotics prior to me seeing an Endodontist. Completely unnecessary. To go from a tooth ache to being told you need a root canal is a big deal and I don't think Dentists understand that. I would not return to this clinic or recommend it. And also for dental cleaning they have some ridiculous three stage cleaning basic, deep and extra deep? Are you kidding me? A cleaning is a cleaning with a hygienist, you do not get to charge special rates to clean under the bone or gums? Thats a rip off! Steer clear. I had an amazing experience for my first time here. The front desk was so kind and patient and I was seen quickly. The dental assistant Erika was nice and made me feel so comfortable she explained everything she was doing and was kind to explain charges/insurance coverage. Dr. Utugawa was extremely thorough in her explanation and did a great job with oral education. The doctor made me feel like i could trust her recommendations, not like big corporate dental offices that recommend unnecessary procedures. Love it here! read more

I went to the Doctor office after been at a different just for second opinion at the beginning. They answered all my questions and I really liked how nice they were to me. I decided to try the office for a filling and it was great experience. I ended up doing all the fillings I need and with deep cleaning. The doctor is lovely and very talented in doing her job . This has been my second (and final) interaction with the front desk. I'm definitely not a fan. I was not greeted when I walked in and when they finally noticed I was there, they asked about my dental insurance-- information I had already given over the phone the previous week. The receptionist (I think?) then gets on the phone to call my insurance company. Hold on: shouldn't this be done prior to me showing up? What if I had taken the day off for this and was told my insurance wasn't accepted? What if I traveled a long distance to come to this particular location? Let's not also mention that it was a holiday-- they very well could have been closed. Then what?! My time would have been wasted. (By the way: music choices on this day were very inappropriate. The music was highly sexualized, and had a lot of curse words. Usually, I'm not one to care but this is a medical office. It was extremely unprofessional.) Not a single person introduced themselves before assisting me. They would just walk into the room, tell me what was going to be done, and move forward. There is an element of customer service that is certainly lost here. Dr. Emily came in, immediately introduced herself, shook my hand, and let me know what we were doing. Her staff needs to sit down with her and learn from her. She was kind and welcoming and I definitely felt as ease with her. My mood instantly changed just after interacting with her. Best dental cleaning experience I had in LA. They pay detailed attention to take care of your teeth. Plus they cover deep cleaning under HMO Aetna plan. Prices for filling is reasonable comparing to the other dentist I went to. I recommend for HMO. read more
