I saw some styles online and wanted to see more. I was excited to see a bigger selection only to be told what I was looking at was months away if I ordered it. Custom cabinets and higher priced. Now- I have no idea how much higher- but we looked at what they did have in stock and decided to get a quote for one of the shaker cabinets they had. Or so I thought. I never received a quote. What I can tell you is that I felt like I was bothering the man who was going to send us a quote. They also charge $99 to come out and take measurements, when I had another company come out and measure for free and had the quote to me in less than 24 hours. I got the sense that they would nickel and dime you- and I have 2 odd, custom cabinets that I wasn't sure they would even accommodate. I really wanted several quotes to make sure I was going with the best company- and this place knocked themselves out by not giving me a quote. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time.

He could have easily handed us a few color charts and sent us on our way, but instead he took the time to carefully assist, answer questions, and make sure we felt confident in our decision. Mistake after mistake with Greystone at times having to fix their initial "fix". Apparently workers did not look at the plans (a copy of which was on site). Phone desk to be lower than other cabinets initially installed at same height as other cabinets. Plans showed Mbath sink to be on left of counter but plumber moved plumbing to the right. Had to fix it. Plumber raised shower arm 5-6" contrary to plan and explicit denial of permission to raise it on day 1. They didn't want to fix it; I insisted. When lowered, no thread tape used on shower arm causing leak that had to be fixed under warranty. Leak caused white tiles to turn grayish. Research showed spec sheet said tiles were not suitable for shower floor; floor had to be replaced. Greystone initially refused to fix shower step plate issues which caused issues with shower door placement. Had to redo glass (and quartz on half wall in addition to step plate). Step plate tilted out of shower instead of in toward shower; had to be fixed under warranty. Contracted for regrout of Mbath floor (avalanche white grout). They did resurfacing instead. Old grout quickly showed through. First "fix" was smearing a GRAY substance over the grout/tile edges in those areas. They finally hired grout expert to do regrout contracted for. They had to lower the vanity after talking me into installing it higher because it hit me in a painful place when I reached for the faucet. Many other issues. Repeated theme: They didn't want to fix damage if it could be covered up or have something placed in front of it so it wouldn't be seen. In fairness, PM overseeing warranty work was great; went above/beyond to ensure things were fixed right. Does good warranty work make months of mistakes and stressful battles to get things fixed worthwhile? Decide for yourself.

We went from a small, weirdly placed island to a 10' island in the kitchen without moving any walls. Plus, the placement of appliances and spacing is perfect. They were straightforward about the pros and cons of all of the cabinetry options they offered. Some offer more "customized" features and some are more basic. They were very clear about price and timing differences and there was never any pressure to chose a more expensive option. We chose a non-custom option and are delighted with the outcome. From our initial meeting to completion, everything went smoothly. We were given clear details about timing and costs to manage our expectations. Follow up site visits were so appreciated. Their contractors and subs are absolute pros. Not only were they clearly meticulous about installation, etc., but they were all a pleasure to have in our home. Very respectful, neat, nice, and good at what they do. Truly a great experience from start to finish. Excellent customer service, professional, and great quality. With NO pressure to upgrade or spend more money EVER. We did that on our own after reviewing options. We love our new kitchen!
