It was $60 for them to come out and look at our appliance, the tech wasn't able to figure out why it was causing the alert. When I explained what was happening based on my youtubing - I asked him to try what I had found out. He cleared the filter and cleaned out the sensor and it fixed the issue. Total cost was $120, which was a little steep of maybe a 30 minute fix that I told them how to do but I was just happy it was done and they were super kind. My husband was out of town and I'm pregnant so it was important to have the dishwasher fixed immediately. He gave some great tips to prevent it from happening again.

I was amazed that they volunteered to have someone come pick up the Kirby from my house, which is 40 minutes away, and also deliver it to me once the job was done. As it turned out, the Kirby was due for service in the form of a "rebuild" under the designated program. I did pay for the service since they basically took the whole thing apart and built it to be like new, but it was not expensive at all. Best of all, it runs like brand new now.
