THANK YOU E-TEE EMBROIDERY FOR THE AWESOME WORK THAT YOU DO!! I was honestly freaking out about what to get my friends for Christmas but knew I wanted to get them something sentimental. What screams sentimental like SUPERTASTIC EMBROIDERED HATS?? I wanted the embroidery to be done on the side of the hats and was concerned at first that it couldn't be done. Luckily, I e-mailed Eric for a quote and he assured me that my design can be made. Also, when requesting for a quote, Eric was super timely with his response and that's really pleasant. When I visited the store, Eric was super helpful with helping me create the design I wanted. He also gave me honest opinions on how I should have sized my design and with color combinations. By the end of our meeting, I was given a pick up day for my order but he ended up finishing days early! So this place is definitely more than timely with their orders. :) I'm not going to lie, it gets a little pricey ordering from here because of the set up fees. They do store your design forever though, so you can order that design again for a fraction of the price. Also, every penny was SOO WORTH IT, I really enjoyed how the hats came out!! Today my search for an Embroidery place is OVER. E-Tee Embroidery will now be my personal embroidery place for all my embroidery needs. Let me share why....I came in to have 2 aprons embroidered for Father's Day this Sunday. 01. LOCATION - Right next to mi casa...love it. 02. PRICES - So affordable, I mean really REALLY affordable. I priced them against others in OC, since most are scattered all over OC, and they were the cheapest and friendliest. 03. CUSTOMER SERVICE - Wow....great customer service. I walked in and they made sure I let them know what I needed and then he offered his ideas/opinions and expertise that I didn't even know to ask. He showed me what my project would look like, even asked me to come to his computer to watch him work on the proof and asked if I wanted to send a pix to anyone that might need to approve the work before he started. I mean, details, details, he covered them all. I changed my mind probably 5 times and he was so nice to show me the proofs 5 times! He was patient and told me to think about what I might want and just let him know if I needed more time. I love a honest opinion over just an opinion to get your business. Obviously, he was in the biz for the right reasons, he's passionate and proud of his work. 04. EXTRAS - Well, I work far and they are only open 7:30 am 5:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. When he realized I would never make it to pick up after work, he asked if I could come early enough to make it into work on time and said he would be there when I tell him to deliver my stuff. Wow...I said "how about at 7am...he said NO PROBLEM!" Now that is impressive but I don't even know if I can make it there on time in the AM. I love my sleeping in! Hmm....I need another plan. Lol.... Great place to get embroidered items done! Came in to see if my hat design was doable since it was a pretty small text on a small surface. I noticed they do a lot of different designs for companies and their embroidery looks very clean and professionally crafted. Some designs were as simple as a name or even as intricate as a cartoon character. I was helped out by the owners and they showed me a couple of fonts to choose from, an array of colors (threading for the embroidery), and then gave me a quote. My design was super simple, two lines of writing for my sorority! I chose a lavender color on a white background/ which was my hat. It was done in under 3 hours and I could not have been more happy with the results. My friend gets his greek embroidery from initial contract, but the dude isn't anyways working or always there. Which annoys the crap out of me. Anyway, so lets talk logistics. Everyone give E-TEE a 5, so why not Look at the pictures, it shows you how the letters would look like. I actually think there's less customization here than the other two places (you can check out my other review. I came here twice, and got difference prices for different sections but they totaled up to be the same Pretty sure this place is family owned. Eric which owns the place charged me 27 for the three giant Greek letters in the front. 9 for the lower back, 9 for the upper back and 6 for the sides of the jacket I brought it, It totaled 59 dollars I came in a week later and his son, Jason, took my order and the prices were as follow, 6 for everything else, and i believe 32 for the Greek letters in front, totaling 59 dollars and this was with taxes, the other place I go to San Diego with more customizationg and the same set up charged me 52 bucks (like 48 plus tax) which isn't too bad of a difference. Both places takes two weeks to finish, however, Jason rush ordered my 2nd jacket so that I could pick them both up at the same time, Also I made changes after they were done too, which is a plus! ( I add a name on the front for 7 bucks) So High lights 27-32 for the letters in front Glowing threads no longer are in market 6 for everything else (or 9) Really Friendly Takes around two weeks for everything to be done. This is my second time using this place. I used them a few years ago to get jackets and a blanket embroidered for my sorority little sis. I don't remember the exact cost, but I remember it being much cheaper than any other places in the area. (I think it was about $80 for both jackets and blanket. And I had LOTS of embroidery done on the jackets.) They were also done very quickly; it only took about a week. I just had 13 backpacks embroidered for a team that I coach. I had a design, team name, and individual names out on each back for only $10 per backpack. It was also a super fast turn around time; I dropped them off on Thursday right before closing time, and they were done by earlier Tuesday morning. The owner also carried to box to the car for me! (review + 2 updates) Their customer service is sure great! I have not even set my order in yet, but I'm pretty sure that I'll be ordering things from them tomorrow--first thing in the morning. I first called in yesterday to ask them some questions about greek letters because it seems like no one, at least on yelp, had ordered greek letters from them. After calling about 10 different embroidery stores, I decided to check this place out the next day since it was the closest to me.. which leads to TODAY! I went in to check the quality of their work and see how they did fraternity/sorority letters because I was unsure about how they made the letters because it seemed like they did more on regular embroidery. First of all, it was a bit hard to find the place, and I had to weave in and out of the business areas, but WHOO when I found their store, I had a mini celebration. I went in and I brought my own letters that my Big bought for me to compare and see the quality of their work. They told me that they did not have any examples of Greek stuff because school is out. Bummer.. but guess what?! They found one! *whew*. I attached some photos of their example of letters. They have this catalog where you can choose whichever brand of sweater you want. My class (a class of 21) wanted to order crewnecks, with our 3 greek letters representing our fraternity, our class on one sleeve, and our individual names on the other sleeve, and a witty quote on the back of the crewneck. With all that, and ordering it in bulk, the sweaters ended up being cheaper than the other places I called. And let me tell you, Eric and his wife, are so sweet and kind. The wife offered to bring her son in, who can take care of Greek orders, tomorrow morning (and I also asked her to ask him to bring in some of his Greek apparel done here so I can look at more examples) and she gladly agreed. I got to check out the different threads they had, the different fonts, the different fabrics, and basically went over every possible detail with them, and they were so nice about it. I'll write an update review once the orders come in! Update: 6/23/11 I ordered 22 sweaters today from E-tee and they brought in their son to help me with Greek orders, which was super nice of them. He definitely helped out a lot with the communication and I have to say that this family business has one of the best customer service. He even brought in some letters from a fraternity to show me. Sweetest people ever. Now, I just have to wait for my order to come in. EEP! I'm excited! (Oh, and because the son was in a fraternity, I definitely felt more comfortable because he would know how letters are supposed to look) Update: 7/4/11 Letters were done on June 30, 2011, one day earlier than the projected finish date! I have never actually set foot inside, but I have done work with Eric via e-mail and online. For this reason, I can focus my attention on their actual work. 1. Quality of work is amazing. 2. They really want to make sure they get your order correctly. Not only do they e-mail you with how it will look and suggestions, but they also wait for your approval. 3. Prices are extremely reasonable. I ordered 3 duffel bags & two sets of basketball shorts - all with different embroidery. Sometimes it's tricky to accomplish this when ordering online, but Eric and the team at E-Tee really made it work. I especially love the fact that he asked me when I needed it by and gave me the option of pick up or delivery - whichever would be most convenient for me. He was also very quick with his replies - all my questions were answered promptly and timely, allowing for me to receive the best outcome on the products I wanted. I love how this place is conveniently located near south coast plaza, how friendly and patient Jason is, and how good the prices are. I've been here twice and will be back for more letters. I've ordered a couple of letters from them, my favorite brand is American Apparel. They have gildan, hanes and a couple other brands. No Members Only jackets though, but if you buy something and bring it in, embroidery is only $32. Jason was really patient with me and my friends when we first came in. We had no idea what colors we wanted, and we literally spent over an hour making 3 sets of letters. They take debit & cash, not sure about credit. It'l take about 2 weeks for them to finish everything and they will give you a call when they're done. The only bad thing I have to say is that for two of the jackets, the embroidery on the arm came off a bit after one wash so make sure you check everything before you leave! read more

Let me tell ya, the customer service here is superb. I went to this place with a goal, to get a custom embroidered logo on a dad hat for my friend as a gift. I'm guessing the people that greeted me were the owners and they listened to what I needed. I sent them the logo and they show me the size that is allowable on the hat. They then give me a quote ($40 for a single logo) on the dad hat and it could be printed in a day. They were very honest, kind, and knowledgeable. I came back in the next day to see the amazing work they did on the hat. It was EXACTLY what I wanted. This process was felt so smooth and clean with such great interactions with the business. I tried to get my Greek letters done here. I have very unusual letters with heart cutouts, so I was prepared to be sent away if they couldn't do it. They were very kind about it and even helped me to find a different place that could do my letters! Even though I didn't get anything from here, I was very impressed with their customer service! The place is a little difficult to find, the E-tee Embroidery store is in building 6 if I remember right, but for Greek apparel and letters, you have to go to Alpha Greek located directly across in the next building. I wish I can give it a five start Although I love their embroidery their customer service is bad. I came here for the first time almost 2 years ago getting around 50 pieces embroidered and paying a Logo set up fee for the first time and shirts (came out beautifully)I came back in December 2017 with about 33 pieces.... they delivered same(beautifully) and then came back with 5-or 7 more that's when everything started, he I believe it's Erik began to hesitate to do them because they were only 5-7 pieces But ok he accepted to make them (after a lot of hesitation) I paid a higher price (because they were only 5-7 pieces I paid about $7 each) I agreed but didn't feel comfortable about how it all had gone I felt like I had to beg him to do the job, I did leave that day and he said "it's ok you can go somewhere else) I came back because I really needed them done but like I said I wasn't comfortable. Anyway they were done (beautifully again) so now I go back yesterday Feb. 28th with 7 pieces thinking I will have to pay $7 a shirt or so WELL first off I felt so neglected and like if I was begging again for a service he said "Why do you only bring this" "you should bring me more" I replied "this is all I need now"... ok after back and forth he wanted $12 plus a shirt!! And I was like "really"! I said I paid $7 a shirt last time I came. And he said well "you need to bring me more more for me to do your job"... I just said I will NOW have to find somewhere else and he said "yes go find somewhere else, no problem".... and just like that he let me walk out the door. I cannot say enough great things about this establishment. From the service to the quality of work, to the time it takes to complete a job, all aspects are superb! I had them embroider a doctor's coat with name and a logo. They charged me an initial fee for the design and for the name, but the total came out to 15 or 16 bucks. I recently got some sports bags embroidered for 10/bag and they had them ready the next day! Each and every time I go they always print out an example to show me how the embroidery will look and give good suggestions on where to place it. I feel horrible for not giving this place 5 stars. I really really wanted to like this place because it had so many good reviews. I told the lady that the sooner the embroidery will be done, the better. The latest is two weeks, but I would have to move some plans back just to make this happen. She said not to worry, and that she would do her best. The letters were done on the very last day of the deadline. I had to move my plans back. I called too, and the man said it wasn't specified on the sheet. Although the letters turned out nice, there was one thing that really bugged me. My brother picked them up for me, so he didn't really noticed the flaw that I saw until I pointed it out. By then, it was too late because he had already driven to LA to drop it off for me. My little was crossing, and there was no way I could go back to get it fixed. I told the lady that I wanted small letters so that they would not overlap the pocket. Half of the last letter was overlapping the pocket, while the other half was not. It looked tacky. It was embroidered on crooked, and it bugged the hell out of me. The man probably felt rushed when I called him and asked him on the status of the letters. Lastly, I found out that the pricing and quality of embroidery in the 626 area were better. read more

I wish I could give it a higher rating! I love this place! Eric Liu not only did an amazing job on the embroidery for my big/ little hoodies, BUT he also caught a HUGE error I made before it was too late. I can't wait to go back again. They have high quality for and such low prices. They are the only embroidery shop I've found that legitimately cares about the customer and they aren't trying to rip you off like most other places. I had to write a follow up about how amazing they are. I had a few more hoodies embroidered and not only do the thread colors they suggested look fabulous, but it is easy to read with a large print. Not only does the product look fantastic but it was finished way before the original due date. This is a really honest embroidery shop that treat their customers with respect. Too many Greek apparel online and retail shops that are overpriced and rude to their customers. I shopped around and got quotes from a few places in the area, which there was a surprising number of in just the same business park, and E-Tee had the best prices. I called them up and they were very easy to work with. I came by with the a stack of uniforms for my business and sent Eric the logo. He had a swatch for me the next business day, which looked great. I needed to embroider a name on a jacket by the end of the day. I called several places in the OC and was going to be charged a set up fee and a rush charge. Other places only do bulk jobs. I was resigned to paying $45-50 to get this done, but then decided to try one last business and called E-tee Embroidery. Turned out to be a great decision! I called and Cynthia said they could have it done in an hour for only $12. I came in and they helped me choose the font, thread color, and placement. 30 min after I dropped off the jacket, I receive a text saying it was complete. Great customer service, price and quality. I went today, based on all the 4 and 5 star ratings thought, gotta be a great place. I needed a New leather/wool jacket embroidered. Since it was only 1 item, I decided to call and ask if they would even do 1 item, the lady who responded said, absolutely, YES!. I drove over, when I walked in I called out twice as no one was around. Finally a man came from around the corner, chewing and you could smell the food in the building. I clearly interrupted his lunch. When I showed him my jacket and what I wanted he said "only 1", I said yes , I called and the lady the answered said absolutely. He then looked over my e-mail of my artwork that I wanted embroidered and he paused, shook his head and said over $200 to digitize. Then said another $35 to do. I could see he really wanted nothing to do with my jacket, which is fine, but next time someone calls tell them your not interested in only 1 jacket. Say you do only volume. Oh and by the way, after he burped in my face from his lunch, and didn't say a word, I said you really don't want to do this do you? He said, well a lot of work, we can do but will take time, 2-3 weeks. I could see he was doing everything in his power to get rid of me and get back to gourmet, burping lunch... In any case we walked away, so much for 4-5 stars... Maybe it should read 4-5 stars so long as you have volume and don't come during lunch hour!!! read more

Came here to get Greek letters done. The pricing is very reasonable. They do great work. The customer service is fantastic. They sat me down and ran over different color schemes with me as well as fonts. They were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a very great experience. The only thing that bugged me, and bugged me a lot, is how long they took for my one jacket. They told me it would take about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks because it was their busy part of the year. However, it took 3 weeks which I find to be a little discouraging. Check and see how long yours would take, if you are in a rush maybe seek elsewhere.
