    ******* BE AWARE****…read more I strongly Suggest seeking more honest attorney. I put my life saving to purchase a Business. After few months , the landlord illegally Evicted me. Ms. Chiney Uwechue from Pacific Atlantic Law Corporation was referred to me for my case. I had to barrow Thousand of Dollars from my friend to retain her for my case. After reviewing all my documents and charging hours and hours for reviewing the file, on Late 2016 we ( I and Attorney Chiney Uwechue ) agreed to file a Lawsuit on Contingency bases. On Dec 2016 , we had a meeting in her office and she asked for additional $ 3,000 to review the whole file again. I Objected to that reminding her that I already paid her to review the case before. Ms. Chiney Uwechue reduced that amount to $ 2,200. She said that she need put more time to review the file page by page again and it takes time. Again, I had to barrow more money to take care of her request ( Remember, All my money was spent in the Business that now is close due to Illegal eviction by Business New Land lord. Finally we agreed that there will be NO more payment to her till the case is closed. She emailed me the Retainer agreement , I signed it and hand deliver it to her so she can sign it as well. she said she is busy at that moment and she will do it within next day. after 2-3 days , she contacted me and Accused me of " ALTERING THE RETATINER AGREEMENT". !!!!!! I was shocked by her accusation and assured her that I never touched, altered or even change even a word of the Retainer agreement that she emailed me. I asked her to compare my Signed copy with what she emailed me. with out proving her accusation , She told me she can NOT represent me anymore , I insist to tell me the truth that why she changed her mind and why she is not comparing her email and what I signed and gave it to her. Ms. Chinye Uwechue told me the only way she will represent me NOW is if I pay her HOURLY !!!!!!! She completely Misrepresented herself to collect Thousand of Dollars from me since we start and she mislead me to believe that she will represent me and take my case on Contingency basis. On top of lost the Business, I lost more money by hiring her for my case. I HOPE THIS WILL HELPOTHERS TO NOT TO EXPERINCE WHAT I HAVE GONE THOUGH.

    REX absolutely BLOWS. Having been in the business for many, many years and having booked and shown…read morethousands of homes, REX's system of booking appointments and the overall management of the listing is truly the worst I've seen. Plus, properties are mispriced and usually on the market much longer than all other comparable homes in the same neighborhood. Most recently, I was going to show a REX listing and was told I could show the property in a couple days. The next day I tried to book an appointment and I got a text message saying the property was not available for another week. I even got an automated text message from the seller supposedly, saying that the property wouldn't be available until the following weekend. That's odd I thought. I even called in to question the situation with a REX representative but she wasn't sure if the text messages I got were legit either. The following day I decided to call in again and double check the status as my client was really anxious to see the house. After waiting 2 hours, I got a call back from a different REX customer service rep who told me the house was now under contract! Under contract??! What?? What do you mean "under contract"?! So you mean to tell me the house when from no showings for a week to under contract in less than 24 hours??!! What a bunch of B.S! Part of the problem stems from the customer service team who answers the phones at REX. The listing agent (whoever the listing agent is), is non-existent. So the ability for a Buyer's agent to discuss real terms and conditions with regards to an offer or property status is non-existent. How does this save clients money?? It doesn't. My client was REAL with a strong down payment and an 800+ FICO score. Had responsible agents been working this deal my client might have made an offer. Then the seller would have had TWO competing bids on the property! But this didn't happen. And how again does REX save a seller money under these circumstances?? They don't. Second of all, the idea that somehow the seller is saving money by not listing their property through traditional market methods (using the MLS), is a bunch of horse shit. Successful agents in the business don't use REX to search for homes and 95% of agents don't use REALTOR.com or other 3rd party sites to search for homes. We use the MLS. As a result, REX listings get lost in the shuffle, or never found at all (which probably explains why REX listings sit on the market so long, right?) Even when a REX listing IS found, REX doesn't offer Buyer's agents a commission. Huh??? You read that right! REX doesn't offer a Buyer's agent commission. If they do, it's half the normal rate! So explain why an agent is going to show your seller's house if the commission is zero or half the normal rate?? They WON'T! Oh, you want the Buyer to pay the commission?? WRONG! It doesn't work that way! At least not in California, Nevada, Florida and several other places REX does business. So if I'm not going to get paid, or you expect my FHA buyer to pay a 3% commission, you're WRONG! And your seller won't get an offer from what would otherwise be a legit buyer! Anyway, I have other experiences showing REX homes in the past but there's no sense talking about it. Basically a waste of time and totally frustrating for a Buyer's agent. It would be nice if REX just disappeared. There is more that could be said, but I think you get the point. Sellers should just steer clear from REX and hire a normal real estate brokerage to handle their business. You'll be much better off. -An Experienced Real Estate Agent P.S. There's no sense in a REX employee responding to this message. You cannot refute someone like myself who has been in the business for almost 20 years. Your method of selling homes is WRONG and doesn't prioritize the seller or their needs. That doesn't mean you won't sell homes or make lots of money, which is probably the only real objective of REX executives anyway. It's not about customer service, it's just about making money... which is the main goal of most people nowadays. What is does mean, however, is your business model is flawed and flawed big time.

So professional, so reliable, always on top of everything. For quite some time, we were thinking about finally making the move to find a new house, but both my wife and I had several things in mind that this new house needed to have, REX held our hand to make sure our dream home wish will come true They help us with everything, showings, inspection, home loan, insurance, etc and on top got phenomenal rates (even lower that other places I quoted) Love the fact that they have everything under the same roof, so internally they are talking to each other about the next step instead of us trying to figure it out. Last but not least, need to mention we used their Buyer Rebate and saved thousands of dollars and with that we covered moving expenses, replaced the carpet, bought some furniture and still have some savings left.     I couldn't recommend John more. When we first called him he was with a client and asked if he could…read morecall back in an hour. Exactly 1 hour later my phone rang and it was John. We spoke for about 30 minutes about the various different things that I needed and that was all I needed to know that he was the right man for the job. John does a lot of contract work so when he took a look at our contract he, very professionally, pointed out the gaps in our self written contract. Suffice to say that the final product John handed back is a rock solid contract. I think the most beneficial thing I gained from my experience with John is that I now have a trustworthy lawyer I can call for all my legal advice. He is as honest and straight forward as they come.
