This is a dental clinic for kids only--adults, stay away. It's insane! They overcharged me for dental work last year, and then--using the flimsy excuse that they couldn't collect the funds from my insurance provider--they shoved a card terminal right in my face and said repeatedly that I pay for the amount they overcharge their side *last year*. To make matters worse, without any prior notice whatsoever, they lured me into the office under the pretense of an annual check-up appointment--around $200 *that very day* without any service. It felt exactly as if they had deliberately lured me into a trap!! I never never received any service commensurate with that amount!. Damn it! read more

My friend referred me to this dental office and at first the boys seemed fine going here. However, when my husband went in with my son for a visit he mentioned how the dentist did NOT floss my son's teeth. I was shocked. I had to check it out for myself. The next visit, my other son had to get a shot in his gums for a cavity treatment and the dentist said, "I'm sorry I didn't cut my nail." My son literally went into shock because of some sharp pain that was her uncut nail. We almost had to call 911. I don't know which dentist was helping my son but beware if it's not the owner. I will be going to Dr. Baek's office in Buena Park. They have a hygienist there who will clean your and your children's teeth; make them sparkly pearly white and even floss them. read more

Recently came in for a cleaning and it was quite a nice experience. Admittedly i haven't seen a dentist in almost 10 years so I was kind of nervous walking in but the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. I'd been seeing Dr. Lim for quite some time, but on my last cleaning visit, I was seen by Dr. April. She was polite, but while she gave me a cleaning, I was sprayed by water and my own spit on my face the entire time. Water was rolling down the side of my neck too! It was ridiculous! I reached to dry myself and she said "it's a lot of water..haha." She wasn't apologetic at all. Excuse me? I've NEVER been drenched during a cleaning with Dr. Lim or any other dentist. I really really love Dr. Lim and her staff! Dr. Lim truly wants what is best for you/your kids, not what will get her a big payout. She is very conservative as far as treatments go, and I really appreciate that. I referred a friend who's child was allegedly needing over $5,000 in silver caps and other work by their dentist. Dr. Lim explained that it was not necessary and suggested a far more simple and reasonable treatment plan. My friend was floored, and so appreciative. Her child and her teeth are doing wonderful a couple years later now! My three kids love coming to see Dr. Lim and she is so wonderful with them. It really takes a lot of patience and kindness to get children through dental work. While my kids haven't needed anything other than cleanings and check ups, I'm grateful for her kind and gentle nature none the less. Highly, highly recommend for kids and adults alike! read more

I had my first visit with Dr. Lim and I had an amazing experience coming from someone that worked at dental office for 5+ years I know the expectations.. first off it Was a very nice spacious, cleanliness office . The girls in the front are so sweet and made the check and walk out process very smooth and easy I also took my six month old son with me and he had a blast. Everyone was so friendly so happy and bubbly. Dr. Lim did my cleaning and she also did my filling the exact same day being a mommy It's so accommodating if things can be done in the same day and I'm so happy she did everything at once, I really loved my cleaning. She was very thorough with my x-rays and even explained to me why I needed a filing. During the process, she was being assisted by Monica and Monica was very gentle and very friendly. It made me feel like we were all best friends talking about our babies. I would recommend anyone to go see Dr. Lim take your babies there. It has now been about 3 years since I first left my review of this dentist office and Im happy to say I no longer have any anxiety about going to the dentist. I have regular appointments every 6 months and Dr Lim and staff still treat me the same as the first day I walked into their office. Dr Lim has very high standards and her work reflects that. I had some work done in a previous visit, during my current visit she didn't like the way it was looking after 6 months of wear and tear. She took it upon herself to fix it at no cost since she felt that it was too soon to be seeing the wear and tear she was seeing. I had no discomfort or pain... She could have very easily just waited another 6 months and potentially hit me with a huge bill. But she took it upon herself to point it out right away and take care of it at no additional cost. Since day 1, E3 Dental has always put my patient care first and never tried to do unnecessary procedures to make an extra buck. I recently moved out of the area but will gladly make a trip every 6 months to support this business. If you are looking for a new dentist, I would highly recommend Dr Lim and E3 Dental. read more

Wow! After a few years and 4 failed dentist visits with our kids we finally found our home dentist! Both of my children received excellent care here. We waited only 1 minute to be seen which has never happened for us! They have an advanced x-ray technology so everything was done in one chair and on a laptop / iPad device right there in there seat which is so helpful with antsy kids! We were there not even 20/30 minutes tops for X-rays and cleanings. The entire staff was extremely nice from the front to the back. The Dr was extremely friendly, helpful with any of our questions and very clear with work needing to be done. Another dentist my child saw said he needed 10+ things done it never sat well with me! So we came here and she said he only needs 5 things done. I just know she is being truthful and realistic and I appreciate that so much! read more

We love our dentist! She is seriously the best. My 7 year old son had to have a baby root canal and she was so careful and attentive the whole time. She kept asking if he was doing okay, if he had any pain, etc. He really trusts her and she talks directly to him in a way that he can understand. If something is the tiniest bit uncomfortable, doctor makes adjustments immediately and keeps him feeling safe and calm. As a mom, it is so nice to be able to sit and watch the two of them slowly, patiently work through this necessary process. Dr. lets me know where they are at and how it is going on her end so I feel less nervous, too! read more

I had an appointment on a Saturday for my twins which 1. Already amazing that they have Saturday appointments. 2. Did I mention my twins are 3 years old? Yeah toddlers who have gone way past the terrible 2s and are still terrible. I didn't have anyone to go with me so I had been mentally preparing for this day ALL week. 3. We were in and out in 30 minutes. 4. Everyone was so nice and they explained each little thing to my girls which helped them not be scared. 5. The office is super clean and kid friendly. My whole family and I have been going there for approximately 6-7yrs. We all love the dentist. She is very friendly, approachable and sweet with kids. I am petrified of dentist especially the drills. I had a cavity and I was so nervous I ending up crying when I heard the noise. I had a horrible experience when I was a child it traumatized me horrible. Wonderful experience! I just had my very first visit with this Dental office last week. I was blown away with how attentive and nice the staff was. The office is very modern, everything was done digitally including my information needed for my new patient visit. The dentist I could tell was very honest about my x-rays and showed me what I needed by going over the x-rays and photographs snapped of my teeth as proof of what dental work actually needed to be done. I know most Dental offices can be as trustworthy as mechanics, but not this office. I got to watch "The Office" one of my favorite shows while my teeth were cleaned, my Dentist was gentle and efficient. I was also given instruction on proper brushing and dental care which was very helpful. I thank Yelp for helping me find E3 Dental, or else I would have missed an awesome Dental experience. I go here for every dentist appointment. It is great for not just children, but adults as well. The dentists are great at their job and make sure that every patient is comfortable. I have a fear of needles and pain especially for numbing shots before a cavity, but the dentist here does a great job of making sure the pain is minimal. I've been coming to E3 Dental for a couple of years now. The staff is very friendly, remembers me by name and is receptive to calls at any time of day. I recently had to re-cement a bridge and they were heavily booked, so I was advised to come in as a walk-in during a less busy timeframe last Saturday. So I went here with my husband and kids for a regular checkup, and they tell me that my little daughter has a cavity, so obviously, like any other parent, I ask to get it removed. The agree, but then WHILE they were treating my daughter, they did not tell me us the exact price of the treatment, and they charge extra because apparently my insurance is different for every manager, or so we are told. Also, the price change every time I ask When I asked about this, they were extremely rude to us, and would not let me speak at all. I love that I can text the office pictures of my daughter's teeth when I wasn't sure if she needed a visit. And Dr. Lim texts back. I also like that they have TV in the ceiling for my daughter to watch during the procedure. They also let your child pick a toy every time. It's easy to schedule appointments and it's easy to park. I take my 2.5 year old here. Dr. Lim is very friendly. The first time we went, I had a 10am appointment. But I kept calling the office to move it back to a later time because my daughter was still sleeping and didn't wake up till 10 or 11am ( She always woke up at 7am-8am. I am not sure what happened.) They are so accommodating. When we arrived, my daughter was crying and screaming and I couldn't calm her down. Dr Lim came outside to the parking lot and brought her a bubble blowing thing. My daughter calmed right away, the rest was a breeze. Today was our second visit, the stupid GPS on my phone told us to go across the street to the Sams club side. (They are on the opposite side of the street of Sam's club). Anyway, Dr Lim took my daughter in right away. I told her I was scared of the xrays and procedures. So Dr Lim was not pushy at all. She cleaned my daughter's teeth and told us to monitor her. She gave us alternative ways to keep up her teeth hygiene and told us to come back again to check up. When I was coming home, I deiced to use the car's GPS instead of my phone. For some reason, the GPS had me drive in circles. I am so upset and weirded out by the GPS situation. I am pretty sure the same thing happened last time we were here. Next time, I better reply on my memory instead of the GPS. read more
