We got a variety of items to share, such as the banh mi, the vermicelli noodles, and crab rangoon. The restaurant is nicely decorated with Asian décor, and the staff was friendly, though service was slow--likely one waiter handling several tables, including our large party. The food was good overall, though my "spicy beef soup" wasn't very spicy, just flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their entrées. This is top tier Vietnamese cuisine! I'm used to great pho and banh mi's in Houston/Dallas area but this has most of them beat! The first banh mi was less crunchy than I would've liked but the second was great! So flaky and crispy. And the pork inside and mayonnaise is to die for. So flavorful. The pho is also such good quality too! Broth was very hearty and flavorful and the brisket was very tender too. The clean, modern and beautiful interior is just the icing on the cake. Everything smells good and the bathrooms are clean. Food came out hot and fresh but tip: bring a jacket if you're prone to being cold bc they keep it chilly inside! We had a sweet waitress that checked on us to make sure everything was good on more than one occasion That's a bonus. Amazing Vietnamese food and gracious, friendly service at lovely cafe near IAH. Our niece had a layover at IAH, so we picked her up and took her to V Bistro, which opens at 10:00 am! We were able to enjoy an early lunch, and there are many delicious vegetarian options on the menu. The fish sauce on the vermicelli bowls is wonderful. Come find this hidden gem in Humble. My food was ready shortly after I placed it online, the lady at the counter was super friendly when I came in. I got a chicken banh mi sandwich and crab rangoons with a Vietnamese coffee au lait. These are probably my favorite crab rangoons I have ever had, they were so creamy and full of flavor. The outside was perfectly crispy and golden. My chicken banh mi was good and it tasted really good, but the bread was a bit too dry for my liking and it could have used a bit more sauce. The bread was just a bit too hard and chewy. Great little Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the Banh mi. The reason for the four stars is that almost every piece of pork was so fatty that they came out in large than my bite chunks. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle - exactly how you'd want it. My work colleague got a strip and pork plate which was delicious she said. The staff were attentive with water and checking in on us. The interior is clean and bright. The parking outside is ample although it Footes share it with other retails stores and SL restaurants. Would recommend and would be back. I just wouldn't order the pork in the bun me as it ruined the eating experience due to the fatty pieces that were utilized. We used to live in the Humble area and would visit the local there very frequently. We moved to this area 11 years ago and I was so happy that we now have a Vbistro out here. The place is very clean, new, modern, and the staff are very nice and accommodating. I'm obsessed with their pho and chicken lettuce wraps! The noodles were fine, and the veggies didn't have anything wrong with them, but the beef was so tough And hard to chew. When I was eating the spring rolls, I was actively struggling to get a clean bite because of how tough the meat inside of them was. Because the garlic noodles are buttery heaven. --- --- --- I had recently bookmarked V Bistro and was looking to try a new place out for lunch near my house and this was a pretty ideal match. I was torn between ordering banh mi or garlic noodles, so I opted to be a total fatty and go for both. Fortunately, the server showed me that I could order the kids portion of the noodles, which was less embarrassing. I really enjoyed the flavor of the pork in the banh mi, but thought the bread was a little too bulky. My taro smoothie with boba I ordered at the end was fine, but I've had better. BUT, the garlic noodles were so amazing that I could not give anything other than 5-stars here. I will absolutely be returning, with my wife and we will be ordering two ADULT size portions of these. I probably won't stop thinking about them until this happens. Bonus points: the server was so nice and warm. I felt like I was being welcomed into someone's home, not just sitting at a restaurant. My order was ready to go quickly and included all the necessary sauces for what I ordered. They have an appetizer combo of 1 spring roll, 1egg roll, 2 crab rangoon and 1 shrimp paste lollipop. It is the perfect combo of crispy and the spring roll adds a light mix. The egg roll is meaty, the Rangoon was fried to perfection and I was pleasantly surprised by the shrimp lollipop. My mom and I love coming here to order the chicken noodle soup lunch special! It was our second time to eat at this location. We usually go to the one in Humble since it is closer to us, but we have decided that it is worth the hour drive to come to this one because not only is the food delicious, but it also has a clean and pleasant environment and the service is excellent. For whatever reason we had put off visiting this newer Vietnamese venture. Probably because we had a couple of other favorites in the area. But we decided to give it a go and see what all these 5 star reviews were about. Glad to report that we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and quick. The menu is extensive, but not too overwhelming. And they even offer boba! While we were not in the mood for pho today, we did get a few other staples to test their fare. The cafe at lait (their version of the Café Sua Da) was large and delicious; Strong as hell but sweet as heaven. The beef bahn mi was also large with a nice crunchy baguette and generous portions. The beef was grilled to perfection with the right amount of mouthwatering char. Finally, the chicken curry was spot on. Initially I wanted a little more heat, but upon reflection it was a great balance. The touch of coconut and sweetness made a wonderful compliment to the curry. This beautiful dish elevates the normally homespun feel of curry over rice. We cannot wait to try the rest of their menu. read more
