We will definitely be back here as the coconut curry was excellent and so were the beef rattles and A2 spring rolls. The spring rolls were obviously fresh and soft with perfectly prepared rice paper wrapping and warm, beautifully prepared peanut sauce. The coconut curry was prepared exactly as ordered (mild) with glass noodles, chicken, woodear mushrooms, garlic, and chicken in a very aromatic coconut curry (some of the most coconut rich curry I've had). The beef rattles were nicely prepared, tender with a crisp caramelized crust and laid on a bed of caramalized onions, red/green bell peppers, iceberg lettuce, and jalapeños (not hot in the least), with a dipping sauce on the side of lime, black pepper, and salt The jasmine tea was very high quality, using whole jasmine leaves steeped in a small ceramic tea pot. The jackfruit smoothie was good, but not the best as it was not fresh--it seemed to be made with powder unfortunately and it was overpriced at $6 (should be $3.50-$4 for the size) Service was a bit slow and my smoothie was forgotten about until almost the end of the meal, but the staff was very friendly and they seemed to be a bit short staffed for the amount of customers at the time so I can't fault them for that at all as they were all working hard to please customers. Overall a 4.5 out if 5. We will definitely be back and considering the good quality of the tea, beef rattles, spring rolls, and coconut curry, I'm excited to try more of their menu and I highly encourage others to check them out as well. Recommend: No. I didn't enjoy taking my family here for dinner. *A good dining experience consists of not only just good food but also good service. And with the poor service that we and other patrons of the restaurant received, I didn't enjoy and can't recommend EAD. The staff seems mismanaged and the ENTIRE staff was only hyper focused on one table with a party of 10 or so, while neglecting the rest of the restaurant patrons (approximately 6 other groups consisting of 4 or less patrons). *Perhaps attention to customers is based on potential tips required from larger parties? I understand having one or two wait staff to a larger party table but not all of the staff. The restaurant did not seem that busy and we were seated right away. However: 1) It took approximately 15 minutes for staff to even acknowledge our table and provide menus. She even expressed that she was a bit confused if this was her table or not?? 2) We ordered. 2 sodas, 1 glass of water and a 1 lemonade. We also ordered 4 egg rolls and 3 pho right away because we weren't sure when she would be back. It took another 10+ minutes for the drinks to arrive, except for the lemonade which was forgotten for another 10 minutes. 3) The pho took approximately another 15 minutes to arrive. I was bit disappointed to find that an EAD regular size Bowl was smaller in comparison to other pho restaurants regular size bowls. EAD actually cost was about a dollar more than other restaurants as well. 4) The egg rolls never arrived and when I asked where they're at they unfortunately delivered them to the big party table (*hence, my comment about only focusing on that large group). I canceled the egg rolls. The pho was no more unique or generous in meats and noodles then other pho restaurants in the area. Normally at other restaurants, the portions almost twice as much the portion and have to take some home. The dining area was clean, modern and updated. However don't let that deceive you that this is a great restaurant because all of that is null and void if the staff is disorganized and selective about who gets preferential service. Unfortunately, since we did not win the "preferential selection lottery", nor did other patrons receive very good service either. *Normally I like to provide photos of the food and menu but do not feel that it is worth providing those, since I do not recommend this restaurant. In my opinion, there are just too many negatives from this experience and there are so many alternative Vietnamese/pho restaurants in the area with superior service, pho quality and portions. read more

Our favorites are: *The egg rolls (wrap them in lettuce) are so scrumptious that we have to double the order every time to avoid fighting. *The pho is absolutely delicious, flavorful and a generous portion. I got some wonton noodle soup and rice rolls with pork and crushed shrimp to go. The service was really polite and the restaurant was nicely decorated and pretty spacious. The wonton noodle soup was just as I hoped it would be. The broth was warm, mild in flavor. The wontons had tender ground pork inside and the soup had bits of bbq pork and baby bok choy throughout. I was surprised that a Vietnamese restaurant out in The Woodlands has banh uot, it's not something you'd typically find in a pho place. I was excited to try. The thit nuong was flavorful and the rolls had lettuce, bean spouts inside. The dipping sauce for this one was savory soy sauce based maybe and I think it had bits of meat in it. It was very delicious. The crushed shrimp ones remind me of what my mom used to make at home. I really liked the bits of fried shallots on top. It's a rainy day in Houston, where else do you go for dinner except pho? We have gotten Ead to go many times and always enjoyed, but you just can't replicate the experience at home. So we decided to dine in. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by warm, homey vibes even though it is quite large. Which is good, plenty of tables, very spacious. Only problem with that is they dont have enough staff for all those tables. We waited a little bit but were eventually seated, and then we had plenty of time to peruse the menu. It's not too big which is good, so when the waitress returned we put our order in and she got it all by memory. After about 10 minutes the bowls of pho came steaming hot. Their broth is really aromatic, you get all those spices. And then the noodles and meat were cooked very well. There's not much to complain about, this is a solid no-frills option for some good pho. read more

WOW! By far the best Pho I've ever tasted, honestly this reminds me of some home cooking back in Nam. The broth by far was the best, it had a lot of flavor (very rich) and wasn't bland.
