Really good Vietnamese place in the heart of The Woodlands. Even though it is located within minutes of anything in The Woodlands you might miss it and it is blended in with the trees and other businesses on the strip center. The ladies are always really nice and know exactly what they are doing. I have been to this place 3 times over the past two weeks and everything I have tried has been great. I specially recommend the pho as it is super flavorful and has a large portion, the salt and pepper wings which are crispy and simply great and the pork Bahn Mi as it is super flavorful and a good size. This place is absolutely disgusting. I honestly don't understand how it's still open. The second you walk in, you can see how dirty everything is. I ordered at the front and sat down when I noticed a cockroach on the floor. I killed it with my shoe thinking it was just one... but then I started looking around and saw three more walking across the floor. It made me feel completely sick. I came here for a quick lunch and to my surprise, the menu had a lot more than just pho. I ended up ordering the Green Curry and I thought it was delicious. The food came out quickly and came out piping hot. Fair warning to those who are spice intolerant: the curry was quite spicy lol. The only downside to dining-in was that it was quite warm in the restaurant. Otherwise, this spot is a great option for food and I look forward to making more stops here for lunch. read more

Ordered online, and when I picked up the employee checked the bag to ensure everything was there and asked if I needed utensils which was nice. I picked up our order around 4:30pm so it didn't seem busy. 1 couple in the restaurant and my order the only one ready on the counter that I could tell. The p7 pho my husband had he said was alright, broth could have been more flavorful. The Tom Kha soup was okay, a bit too many onion chunks for my liking and lacked that coconut lemongrass flavor and I guess since I didn't check the "extra spice" there was none... so flavor wasn't as good as I've had other places yet the chicken and mushrooms were yummy. the pork egg rolls were def crispy but not sure I'd pay $4.95 for 2 again... the Singapore noodles with chicken that I ordered with hesitation yet still did because another Yelp review mentioned they were great and in the past at another place I remember them being super spicy yet good, the chicken was so plentiful and moist and noodles cooked just right but again, little flavor so I tried to spruce it up by adding a little bit of everything from our order and it worked out. So I guess lessened learned is if you spice modify you should and maybe call the restaurant to see if they can spruce up their pho broth? IDK. I want to support this local place but they will need to up their game. And it is a bit warm in the restaurant so I def wouldn't dine in, personally. However everyone friendly. read more

I was excited to find "PHO restaurant" in Sterling ridge! Ahhh, really wished I liked the pho. Pho soup had no depth in flavor, salty and a bit sour, watered down.. I really hope they improve it. However! Grilled pork spring rolls are amazing, so as their peanut sauce. Very fresh, pork is very tender! So I'll order grill pork dish next time. read more

The lady at the counter was a little odd, when we would ask her questions she would just reply with short answers & seemed as if she didn't wanna be there. Visited during lunch on a Sunday and was pleased to see that the place was busy as I know it is still pretty new. My joy was short lived as I was not acknowledged by the woman working the front counter where I stood for 5 minutes hoping to place a takeout order. I understand that the place was busy but to be ignored for five minutes was rude. Tried Simply Pho and Grill Thursday night Ordered in and a few items to go Enjoyed the grilled pork spring rolls- pork had great marinated grill flavor. Will order again for sure! Was blown away at the size a regular bowl of the Steak Pho was...could barely finish. The broth had great flavor and ample meat and noodles as well. Took home a Singapore chicken Noodle, Pad Thai chicken and chicken Banh Mi sandwich. All excellent, all with great flavor and ample portions. Again, the grilled marinated chicken they use in the Banh mi was outstanding. Bread was fresh, and ample accompanying ingredients like cilantro, jalapeño, etc. Will be back for sure, need my weekly fix. All of it was good but the Pho, Banh mi and spring rolls were phenomenal. As an Asian person, I was thoroughly delighted to see a well-rated pho place that was in a more convenient location. I can only speak for the pho bowl noodles, however, as my Chinese boyfriend stated, the bowl tasted like noodles with water. The form of the dish was there, however it just lacked that overall umami and fragrance that you get with other well-rated pho places. The meat portions were also small considering we ordered extra meat and the price of the bowl. Food service was fast.
