I came here for a quick lunch and to my surprise, the menu had a lot more than just pho. I ended up ordering the Green Curry and I thought it was delicious. The food came out quickly and came out piping hot. Fair warning to those who are spice intolerant: the curry was quite spicy lol. The only downside to dining-in was that it was quite warm in the restaurant. Otherwise, this spot is a great option for food and I look forward to making more stops here for lunch.

Ordered online, and when I picked up the employee checked the bag to ensure everything was there and asked if I needed utensils which was nice. I picked up our order around 4:30pm so it didn't seem busy. 1 couple in the restaurant and my order the only one ready on the counter that I could tell. The p7 pho my husband had he said was alright, broth could have been more flavorful. The Tom Kha soup was okay, a bit too many onion chunks for my liking and lacked that coconut lemongrass flavor and I guess since I didn't check the "extra spice" there was none... so flavor wasn't as good as I've had other places yet the chicken and mushrooms were yummy. the pork egg rolls were def crispy but not sure I'd pay $4.95 for 2 again... the Singapore noodles with chicken that I ordered with hesitation yet still did because another Yelp review mentioned they were great and in the past at another place I remember them being super spicy yet good, the chicken was so plentiful and moist and noodles cooked just right but again, little flavor so I tried to spruce it up by adding a little bit of everything from our order and it worked out. So I guess lessened learned is if you spice modify you should and maybe call the restaurant to see if they can spruce up their pho broth? IDK. I want to support this local place but they will need to up their game. And it is a bit warm in the restaurant so I def wouldn't dine in, personally. However everyone friendly.

Pho was good , but it's really nasty in there ! And the man I. The back keeps sneezing and coughing. I will not be back due to sanitary reasons .

I was excited to find "PHO restaurant" in Sterling ridge! Ahhh, really wished I liked the pho. Pho soup had no depth in flavor, salty and a bit sour, watered down.. I really hope they improve it. However! Grilled pork spring rolls are amazing, so as their peanut sauce. Very fresh, pork is very tender! So I'll order grill pork dish next time.

Kids rice plate, vermicelli, and red curry.

Excellent food and smoothies! We've been here multiple times and always have a great experience.

I'm always on the hunt to try new Vietnamese spots and sometimes have to travel to The Woodlands…read morefor work and thought that I would give Pho Viet Tastes a try due to high ratings on Yelp. Searching for a banh mi sandwich with tofu for a quick lunch takeout, I was pleased to see that the restaurant was close to interstate 45 for a quick stop on the way back to Houston (timing is everything to beat the traffic in this area - IYKYK). I ended up ordering both the tofu vermicelli and a tofu banh mi because obviously, you need to try more than one thing. It was fine. Out of the two dishes, the vermicelli was my favorite. It came with a generous portion of noodles, a small lettuce and shredded carrot salad, several large wedges of tofu in a kind of curry sauce, and the classic vermicelli sauce to drizzle over the whole dish. The flavor was good, although what I would consider a slight deviation from traditional flavors, and overall filling. Vermicelli is always a dependable choice and I was satisfied with this dish. The tofu banh mi, however was nothing special. I prefer the bread to be a bit more crispy on the outside with a soft interior and this one was fairly soft all over. Inside, the tofu really needed more seasoning, seemingly cooked without any added flavors except for the fried finish. I added some hoisin sauce but still it needed something more. I'm always eager to try new places but not sure that this one will be a repeat for me.

The meat tasted like it had been sitting for a while and then reheated it was rubbery, tough, and had that old, off flavor. The broth was also a huge letdown. Pho is supposed to be rich, aromatic, and full of depth, but this one had almost no flavor at all. I even asked ahead of time if the soup would include cartilage, which is usually part of a proper pho, and was told yes, but it wasn't there. What really concerned me was finding fruit flies in the soup. That raised serious questions about cleanliness and food handling, especially if soups are being left uncovered. One thing that also stood out was that, although this is presented as a Vietnamese restaurant, the kitchen staff did not appear to be Vietnamese. While anyone can cook any cuisine, authenticity and attention to traditional flavors really matter, and based on the taste of the food, that authenticity seemed to be missing. When the bill came, I calmly explained everything, expecting at least some acknowledgment or effort to make it right, but nothing meaningful was done. Between the poor food quality, the cleanliness concerns, and the lack of response from staff, this was a very disappointing experience and I wouldn't return.

However, I've noticed that the prices have gone up while the portions, especially the amount of meat, have gotten noticeably smaller. I usually order the combination pho, and while the broth is very flavorful, there is surprisingly little meat in the bowl. Our bowls also had no tendon or tripe, which was disappointing since it's supposed to be a combination pho. One thing that really stood out to me was the difference between the regular and large combination pho. The large bowl has significantly more broth, but it looks like it has pretty much the same amount of meat as the regular bowl. If you're ordering the large because you want more meat and ingredients, you may be disappointed. I don't mind paying a little more when the quality and portions justify it, but at the current prices, I would expect the amount of meat to be more generous. The flavors are still really good, but for the price, the value just isn't what it used to be.

On a weeknight, there isn't much of a crowd and really just 1 other table of customers. I was able to pick pretty much anywhere to sit. The menu is pretty extensive and has all of the vietnamese basics for a noodle shop. I tried the House Special Fried Shrimp Cake and Fried Egg Rolls as an appetizer, and a small fatty brisket and fatty flank steak bowl of pho. Prices are average id say for this type of food and certainly much less than the nearly $18 bowl of pho I had about 6 miles away last week. The soup broth is very similar to their other location, which was pretty good. It isn't the best bowl of soup in the Houston area, but it surely does the job if you're craving a bowl of pho. The egg rolls are pretty standard, I just wish they gave you more lettuce as the amount provided only is enough for 2 of the 4 egg rolls. The shrimp cake is something I've never tried but just made with sheet tofu and shrimp paste. It's pretty good if you like that texture. You eat them the same way as the egg rolls wrapped in lettuce and add the veggies. Again, the amount of lettuce provided is only enough for 2 of the 4 cakes. The ambiance is nice and they were playing a mix of modern pop and dance music in the dining area.

In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help.
