Jonas is the Muay Thai instructor who I have also had the opportunity to train with in the past. He tries to tailor the class to the needs and goals of the students.. whether it's to get in shape, learn self defense, or eventually fight in the ring, which he has a lot of experience with as well. We usually go around lunch hours, which is perfect because it's never too busy -- no waiting for machines, no crowding, just an easy, steady flow. I usually hop on the StairMaster for 5-10 minutes to warm up (and pretend I'm climbing to better glutes), then move into strength work. We mostly stick to the free weights and machines for now -- still a little intimidated by the barbells and squat racks, but we'll be weight-loading soon! I've also been eyeing their yoga classes -- just waiting for one that fits my schedule so I can finally stretch and zen out after all the lifting. It's the kind of gym that makes it easy to stay consistent -- judgment-free, motivating, and just the right mix of casual and serious fitness energy.

Professor Miller, Coach Amanda, and Coach Miguel are very good with my hyper-active kids, and while they talk excessively during class they understands. Been to other schools and they were two aggressive both with kids and adults. A great family atmosphere, so don't get fooled by the name. I always tell my wife when the kids stop having fun we will stop going, and we have not stopped yet.
