I have to say, I was surprised by this diner. Looking over the menu, overall, each item was fairly inexpensive compared to similar establishments. As others have reported, the portion sizes are quite large. The one time I went here for breakfast the total cost for two people was $12, not including tip. I thought this was a good deal! I thought the coffee was good. I now see in Hollie S's review that they serve Lacas coffee which is a local company. The diner itself, is clean inside and out. Parking lot is well marked and in good repair. The booths are comfortable and clean. In terms of breakfast food, I have gotten the french toast. It was filling and while it wasn't the best it certainly was good and I enjoyed it. The most recent time I was here the waitress was super nice and attentive. She seemed to really care about our experience dinning here. My only complaint was I ordered a chocolate milkshake and it had ice crystals in it. A friend recommended this place, and I have been quite impressed. The waitresses have been professional and social. Everything is done very well: Portion sizes, food quality, service, cleanliness. The broccoli/ mixed vegetables, stuffed shrimp and Greek salad are my favorites and some of the best I've had at a diner. Great food and super service! The staff goes above and beyond and always keeps drinks full! They have great breakfast specials plus home made cheese cake! I ordered through Door Dash at 10:30am. My estimated time of arrival stated 11am. I then texted my driver to see how long it would be at 11:20am. He stated that he is at the diner waiting. Mind you, my driver had somewhat of a language barrier but I was able to understand that he was still waiting. I then realized this may be a restaurant issue so I called the restaurant and spoke to a woman who was very hard to understand, but being an educated professional woman I had the patience to understand that many of us in America come from different countries so they are going to be times where there is a language barrier. So I remained having patience and politely asked her is my food ready to be delivered or is the driver still waiting? She stated that the driver never came, then she stated that she's very busy and my intuition told me that she may have not been telling the truth. She asked one of her employees to explain what happened, her employee stated that my order is out for delivery. Also that my order was picked up 30 minutes ago. It was now 11:30AM. I would never order from this diner again this is the second incident not including a door dash order, but I don't feel that it is very professional to lie to customers. I spoke to my driver and he stated that they were very rude to him and he's been waiting for 40 minutes and there was another customer at the location waiting as well. read more

I would go here, but they need to be more popular for me to come back. I understand that this place was closed for a long time don't know if it was because old owner and now they have new one or if they were renovating the place. Not sure. Either way my boyfriend and me decided to check this place out for the first time today. The waiter was really nice we only saw one waiter working. That is how slow they are. Anyways we order our drinks and he got lemonade and I got Pepsi. Mind you my drink came in a Diner plastic guess you'd call it Pepsi cup. His lemonade came in a small diner size glass cup with no ice... Mine had ice in it. If they had given him the cup I had he would of been able to savor his drink through the whole meal maybe, but he also just played a sport game and was really thirsty also. Anyways when we ordered our stuff he ordered some burger and I got a wrap. Wasn't just any wrap it was a highlight wrap that is on the menu. When I order the wrap she told me it comes with soup and it was either some other soup or chicken noodle. The soup came out really fast. It was in a diner size coffee cup little bit rounder, but it was small. The soup was not to hot and not to cold. They had really really big noodles in it which was ok, but to me not for the size of the cup they had. I wasn't even done my soup and our food came out. It came out pretty fast. The fries were crunchy which we both like with our meals. I got the turkey wrap and it was good I just think they could put more tomatoes in it. Maybe like tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and the turkey. Like to me it just tasted of mainly turkey and lettuce. I barely tasted the tomato. It was good. The coleslaw was good also can't complain about that because every diner makes it different. When we were eating my boyfriend only took two or four bites and drank his drink and needed another one. The waiter told us that there are no free refills. At first I thought well that gets me to not come back here and enjoy my meal and if I need a drink I'll ask for another one sort of thing. Then we talked about it and came to a conclusion that maybe they are too slow and need to make money so they charge for the extra drink. I didn't mind the waiter, But to me it seems like there was really nothing for her to do so she kept coming over to all her customers and asking if they were ok or needed anything. It seamed a little bit a lot for us. I mean I don't have a problem for the waiter to come over and check on us, but we had just started eating our meal when she comes over and asks how everything is. It's ok and everything, but I feel give people some time to eat more then a couple of bites before coming over to ask. The prices were cheep which I really like I would come back to this place, but not as much as I would for say some other restaurant/diner. This place just really felt dead to me. I have seen lots of people in the parking lot when they did open and that was nice, but actually being in there even thought the place looks really nice the place/atmosphere just felt dead. read more

Last night we went to the Eagle Diner and, for the first time, our meal was pretty bad. Husband had a cheeseburger deluxe. One of the pink tomato slices tasted rotten (should have used red Jersey tomatos). The burger was on the edge of being too old. I had a cup of "bean soup" which was odd ... only a handful of beans, potatos and tomato slopped over the edge of the cup. My chopped steak was fried and was mostly edible. The scoop of mashed potatos and brown gravy actually cracked apart when I inserted the fork. They looked very old and grainy. One small taste and it was sent back with an explanation why. We're done with Eagle for a while. We think the cook was cleaning out the refrigerator. read more

We have had two amazing experiences the staff and service is amazing. Every time we have had their food we were happy they are way better than the people that had the place before hand. When it was the Pine Hill diner they delivered to us once and it was horrible but this time when they delivered we had no issues. read more
