09/23/2025 updating my previous review: Ambiance, service, and food are all still top-notch and indicative of the diner setting. Usually, I'm here a few times a month, if not at least once a week. I've attained "regular" status, I think! I love to walk in and sit at the counter. Typically, Angel or Nicole take care of me and they are both a testament to their profession: knowledgeable, pleasant, efficient, and friendly. Thank you! The menu was updated but is still as huge as ever and full of wonderful choices. My main meal is breakfast and they have M-F deals until 11AM but on the weekend there are additional specials to take advantage of. I've dined in so many times and I really don't have one negative thing to say about the service or food. I am actually quite impressed with how the eggs are cooked to order. I enjoy my omelette cooked "soft" and the cooks are getting it right every time. Same with over-easy. You can tell they are taking the extra time to ensure it's right and that means a lot to me. This place has it all: Huge portions, delicious food, a varied menu, friendly waitstaff. I'm exhausted from trying to remember all the superlatives. Diners are sort of my thing. Lately, I didn't think anyone could top the Silver Coin in Hammonton, but Pandora has it beat. Try not to spread the news. We don't want them getting a big head over all this. read more

Server was very nice, but that's where the good ended. Ordered the caramelized burger which was supposed to have onions and mushrooms, and it came out with no mushrooms. I ended up sending it back to get a new order and I could tell they just put mushrooms on the old burger with some extra cheese to hide what they did, and stuck it under the broiler because the burger had turned into a hockey puck (I ordered medium). We were seated immediately the place was clean and well managed Savanna was our server she is as cute as a button. Savanna was so patient .we were a party of 5, everyone had their special needs. I hate to send food back but I wasn't crazy about my meatloaf (it's a me thing) she didn't frowned she ask would I like something else with no hesitation. I ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms. Yummy it was fresh crab meat. We ordered lunch, breakfast, and dinner. The prices were unbelievable. They gave you an assortment of breads. My lemonade was so tasty. Then to top it off! Our soups were so yummy! I had French onion and the boss had chicken shell. My entree was the broiled crab cake platter. I was underwhelmed, I hate to say. The crab cake was one big one and was lump, but it just wasn't cutting it. Im also spoiled with the ones from The Meadows (Blackwood) too. The menu didn't describe it, but it came with slices of hard boiled egg, (unripened) avocado, and potato salad, which I dislike. Waste of money! Joey had an egg salad sandwich that he loved. I was glad for him. Id go again if in the area, but would definitely not order crab cakes! (Their baked goods looked amazing). read more

Had lunch with the family. Great lunch specials that come with soup, french fries, pickle, and coleslaw with a large choose of sandwiches. Server was good, Diner was large but was a little on the chilly side. I upgraded to the French onion soup which was good, not too salty with a nice flavor. The chicken noodle soup was also good but I was not a fan of the cream of broccoli. Sandwiches were large and three of us only ate half. Reasonably priced for the amount of food. read more

Late evening dinner stop@Tues-4/23/24, 8ish. The 1st waitress came over after approx.13 mins & seemed as if we were imposing on her. She had no greet, smile nor conversation other than, what would you like to drink? After bringing our drinks, she was off to find the answer to my question about the tunafish. About 5 mins went by & Briana came over to take our order. I asked her if she knew if the tunafish was albacore. The other young lady, after hearing the conversation, came over to say that it was indeed albacore. We ended up with a good waitress, Briana, whose personality, wit & professionalism made this visit tolerable. We ordered the tuna wrap, lentil soup, chicken parm & mushroom soup. Soups were salty, stale bread basket, and the chicken parm while massive, was flavorless. This place is not like it use to be. It has quickly gone downhill. The food could be better and the entire place, cleaner. We have been here numerous times & have left questioning why we came. We celebrated a bday a few months back & received poor wait times/services, literally forgotten. The manager said that it was due to a large table order in the same area. Really? They were a larger party (12) than us and received their food well before us....our table of 4. We ordered first and waited for sometime. The wait times, tasteless foods, poor attitudes of the staff, dirty menus that are never seen wiped down, order mix-ups lazy bussers standing idle at busy times...this is definitely our last visit! read more

My friend and I tried out Pandora on a Thursday night. To my surprise, even being a Thursday, the place was mobbed. Thankfully, we were sat pretty quickly. You get a lot of food for your money. I ordered a ham and cheese hoagie with fries and a meatball veggie soup. My hoagie was good, however, it was too overloaded for my personal taste. I ended up taking a lot off of the hoagie. The fries were really good- their honey mustard tasted funky. My friend ordered the mac and cheese burger with fries and chicken noodle soup. Her soup isn't pictured, but it seemed like 10 different kinds of noodles were used in the soup which made it funny looking. She really enjoyed the mac and cheese on the burger. We ended the night with a slice of cheesecake, which was very light and airy which I appreciated. Overall, I'd rate this spot 4/5. We will definitely come back and try other things off the huge menu. read more

We decided to try the old Peter's Diner on a whim and pulled up to find it packed. We figured this was a great sign. We love a good diner, and while we live in an area filled with diners, we haven't been too impressed lately by many of them. We were hoping Pandora might become our new go-to for when we were in the mood for diner food. The menu is INSANE! I almost added it to my Goodreads app, because it's liken to a novel. I get nervous when places have such extensive menus, because you can't possibly be great at that many things, but if you're familiar with diners, there's usually an insane variety of genres and cultures available. We decided to play it safe and order sandwich-type dishes, which both came with soup. I ordered the chicken noodle, which had a variety of pasta types and chunks of fresh chicken ( I found a bone, hence its fresh). My husband ordered the cream of crab with potato. He liked his soup, which was filled with potatoes and had very little, if any, discernible crab, but you could taste the crab faintly. Since it came with our entree, we were just happy to have the chance to try it. I ordered the Turkey Rachel melt, which is basically a Turkey Reuben with Cole slaw instead of kraut. I also did the waffle fries instead of regular fries. My Turkey was pretty dry and could have used some more thousand island and the fries were also bland. Nothing was bad, just not raving about it. My husband got a panini that had grilled chicken, bacon, red peppers, and provolone. He opted for the regular fries. He tried my waffle fries and said his fries were more flavorful. Overall, he said his panini was pretty good. We would give it another try, because the experience was fine. Perhaps if we try other menu options we will be able to rave about things the next time around. By the way, it's important to note our server was adorable and did a great job. read more

Much better than the last time we stopped when it was Peter's Diner, years ago Peter's was one of my favorite diners in the area but it slowly went downhill. This time the food was really good, and service was fast, and friendly. I had a really good cup of Italian wedding soup, and a hot roast beef sandwich, MDW had a Greek salad which she was happy with. There was a huge menu providing something for everyone. Not a gourmet restaurant but excellent service and food was top notch. We were seated immediately when we arrived. First time to the Pandora and inside and out the place looks really cool. The music playing was very comfortable and keeps with the theme. We were here on a Saturday at noon and it looked half full. We found out they swap out menus at noon which has limited breakfast options. (We missed it by 5 min). I settled for a bacon omelette didn't come with cheese, so I added provolone. It was really good and they do something different with Scrapple that makes it way cruncher. The wife got pancakes and bacon which yes she puts in her grits. The menu thing was a bit off putting, but the food made up for it. read more

I like eating at diners. Very spacious diner, lots of tables and booths. I decided to take my daughter to lunch on 2/16/23. On the menu there are a lot of choices. We ordered an appetizer, the lunch came with soup. I ordered French onion soup it was tasty. I ordered a cheesesteak with minimal cheese. The cheesesteak was not heavily seasoned it was enjoyable. My daughter ordered the chicken noodle soup and Egg Benedict sandwich. She said the sandwich needed more sauce on it but it was delicious. The service was excellent. read more

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience today 8/25/25! I ordered 2 eggs over easy, the server told me I could only get 1 or 3?? So ok no big deal I said ok I'll take 3, she then came back and said I could get 2, since the 1/3 deal is on the weekend, she said she was new, got it , still no problem I'll take the 2, again over easy. The breakfast came out and honestly I got 3 eggs, but when I tell you they were hard and rubbery! I could not even stab them with a fork!! I showed the server and she was even surprised, although I don't know why she served them in the first place. I believe what happened, is the 3 eggs, again I ordered 2, were made much earlier and whoever was in the kitchen shoved them under a heat lamp, and the server just grabbed them! I'm really not one for sending meals back, so I just ate the toast and bacon. You would think though, since the server realized how awful the eggs were, they would take at least the eggs off the bill. Anyway, terrible experience, horrible food, and questionable service. Let's start with atmosphere, bright roomy dining area, booths and tables. The menu is huge! The average price for the chef's specials are very affordable at $16.99 to $18.99 including soup or salad, and dessert. Get the cake for dessert! Senior early bird dinner is only $12.99 and served until 7pm. The portions for the chef's specials were generous and we had enough to take home for lunch. This place is a great value for the price. The place is pretty tame and demographic is the 55 and up crowd. I'd go back with the elderly parents and aunties. read more

Fish and chips were terribly incredibly oily and flavorless. Fish was mushy lacked good crispy ness and every bite was a bite full of oil. Horrible onion rings undercooked and fries came from a school cafeteria. The French onion soup was the only thing that I liked but that's hard to mess up. The food is good quality diner food and plenty of it. There are several huge pages in the menu which is typical for a Jersey diner. We've eaten here several times and most everything we've eaten was very good. The prices are very reasonable and we always bring home enough for another meal. The last meal I had was the apple pecan glazed pork chops. They are boneless and glazed is an understatement. It's more like buried in apples and pecans. It was great. We've been there at least 3 times and we're never disappointed. read more

My God this diner is so good. I had the salmon Pomona with sun dried tomatoes in a horseradish sauce for $20 delicious. Their menu is extensive and big portions. Not good. I ordered a cheese steak number 1, which is a chicken cheese steak with fried onions peppers and some kind of "Jack sauce". For starters when I went to pick it up the roll was so soggy it fell apart and as an added bonus there was a nice big black hair under it......... I did not say anything, I am just not that type of person. However, the server clearly saw nothing was eaten on my plate but didn't really care... She never asked why or was there something not right. I thought when I checked out they will surely ask, How was everything.. They didn't, so I simply paid my bill and left.. Today I went to Pandora Dinner like I've done many times since it opened. Wanted rye toast but my son Dante who worded there, suggested I try the pancakes. I usually eat it with fresh berries so he put a few slices on it and a cup of coffee. Got my bill paid it and left. Dante called me telling me mom my boss (one of the owners) is threatening to fire me because I added strawberries to your pancake. So I said I will come back, what does she want more for the meal? He said He don't know and offer to do the same but she is still ranting that she don't trust him for doing that. So I turned back and not realizing my son left in my short drive to my store asked her if I can speak to her. She said she have nothing to say she said it all to Dante, so I said did I offend you? Owe you? She turned and left. I waited until she came Back and said you can at lease stop and tell me what's the problem so I can fix it. She started to screen get out! Leave now! Get out of my place right now! Over and over loud. I turned and left because truth be told I went 0-100 but as a businesswoman in the town I could not bring myself to her level. Also instantly wondered if that what she did to my son! As to owner of Pandora it's beyond me how she thinks it's ok to speak to a paying customer like that. Pandora serves hot food hot. The value of our meals is what took this to 5 stars. The hamburger and fries were cooked as ordered with a good beefy flavor. The Fries were served crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Chicken croquets were 2 huge Croquets of very good meaty goodness. Chicken Parmesan was a large cutlet, moist and seasoned well. With the sides of Rice Pilof and a Veg. Outstanding. The Mile High Meatloaf was a large portion of well-seasoned meatiness, the Mash was a creamy blend of Idaho potatoes. The Crab Soup that comes with the meals was a generous bowl of creamy seafood-infused fluid. Steaming Hot when served which we appreciated! The meals included dessert which was your run-of-the-mill. We did order 2 pieces of Cheese Cake and a Lemon Cake. Cheesecake was good, Lemon Cake was too Lemony extract flavor for my taste. $80...For the above feast. We will be back. read more
