I had the pleasure of having breakfast this morning at First Watch. The ambiance was nice and family friendly. Valerie is very attentive and welcoming. My food was flavorful and had the right amount of kick. I ordered the "CHICKICHANGA" which is Whipped eggs with spicy chicken breast, chorizo, green chiles, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. Topped with Vera Cruz sauce and a dab of sour cream, side of home fried potatoes. As if it wouldn't be filling, I also ordered a lite and fluffy mouth watering Belgium Waffle, with a side of warm mixed berry compote and powdered cinnamon sugar. I would recommend trying First Watch at least once to see what it's all about, and a second time to see if you like it or not. My 2-star rating comes with a disclaimer: I've only gone there one time - I will try it again and update my review accordingly. From my inner circle, I have heard various opinions about First Watch, from terrible to terrific. I take this information in stride and like to find out for myself. This review is from my experience on February 21, 2025. The reason for the low rating is the food, but again, there's a catch: I ordered breakfast food to-go. This is not something I usually do or make a habit of. The reason is that most food, especially breakfast food, does not travel well. I knew this ahead of time but took a chance anyway. The food was edible, but less-than desirable. I expected more. One item I ordered was the Elevated Egg Sandwich which comes with smashed avocado. The avocado was brown. This indicates to me that it was not fresh. It comes with really unique and tasty toppings, and the bun is divine - I would have preferred fresh, though. The other item was the Farmhouse Hash. The eggs over easy were disgusting. I can forgive quite a bit when it comes to eggs, but these eggs were severely undercooked with a ton of the most undesirable slime. Oddly enough, the outside of the egg was browned. From personal experience of cooking eggs for myself for 40 years, I know what the problem was: the griddle was way too hot for egg cooking. The outside appeared done but the inside was raw (see attached video). The person who took my order over the phone and the person who assisted me when I went to pick up the order were super nice and friendly - so I feel like the staff are polite and personable. Also, you cannot deny the place is clean and well-lit. So yeah, I had a bad experience. It's not the end of the world. I will try again and see what happens! read more

Such a cute place! Love the vibe. Sat at the bar on a Sunday morning and service was quick and friendly even with how busy they were. Food was excellent. I got the biscuits and gravy with potatoes and scrambled eggs and my girlfriend got eggs Benedict. The potatoes were so well seasoned and crispy. The decor is contemporary modern trendy however, this is my second experience with first watch where my dish came out Bill prepared. I don't even know why they bought it to the table. We went for Sunday brunch in the Sicklerville location. The told us it was a 40 minute wait and we totally understood that they were busy and gladly waited. Once seated, the waitress, who was very , pleasant, told us that the food would be a 40-45 minute wait, and we said that was fine, even though we were hungry. We were still ok with waiting. When got our food, that's when it got disappointing. Everyone at the table complained of too much salt in their potatoes/hashbrowns. I had eggs that were covering my hashbrowns. They were burnt and very salty. We were ok with the wait, but not so much with bad salty food. All three meals weren't good. The dining area itself was nice. I have dined in at First Watch once but have ordered with them via Uber Eats about 3 separate times. Each time I've ordered online, my food arrives VERY cold. This will be my last time ordering moving forward. Please note that I live 6 minute drive from the restaurant. As we all know, when ordering through Uber Eats, they show you when your driver arrives to the restaurant. I noted that my pick up driver was waiting for about 15 mins. By the time she received my food and delivered it, it did not take long because I always pay extra for priority delivery. I have been very dissappointed receiving food that is practically ice cold and can only assume that my food has been prepared and ready, but sitting around. Please also note that it did not take long for Uber Eats to find a driver as well! I can't figure out why my food ALWAYS arrives VERY cold considering I order from other restaurants in the area and do not have this issue. I suggest that this restaurant figures out their process on food delivery because there is a mishap some where. I literally just spent $40 on cold food which is a complete waste of money. I've tried to over look past mishaps but at this point I can only think this is the standard they have created. read more

Such a beautifully renovated space! Glad this location is finally open, after taking over the place Bertucci's previously operated. The renovations are apparent as soon as you step into the brightly lit and well decorated dining area that First Watch is known for. We came in for a Sunday morning breakfast early, before 9am. We were sat immediately. I ordered the under $4 pot of coffee that stayed at the table with me, the BLT benedict, and a side of toast with preserved. The food was out quickly and piping hot. I could see steam coming off the black beans that came with my friend's order of breakfast tacos. The benedict was cooked perfectly, had great flavor, and I absolutely loved the side salad with a lemony dressing. It was a bright, fresh, and filling breakfast. The bathroom was bright, clean, and stocked with soap and paper towels. There were at least 3 stalls in the women's. Would definitely recommend stopping in, if in the area. read more

We went there for breakfast about a month ago and it was very good and thus the reason we went back again today with a group of eight (all family). First of all, the service was great. The server was on point and very attentive. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. We had to send back an uncooked waffle that one of the kids ordered. Two people ordered avocado toast. First time I have ever seen that order with such one measly piece of toast. Three people ordered potatoes with their breakfast, and everyone thought the potatoes were hard and overcooked. The eggs benedict that I ordered had an English muffin that required some major sawing to get through, and the egg itself was undercooked. Only one of the six adults was happy with their meal. The total tab for breakfast which did not include any specialty drinks (just two coffees and the rest had water) came to $ 170.00 with tip so this place is not IHOP with its prices. I have lived in the area for 40 years and have probably seen a half dozen restaurants in this location. If this is going to be their overall quality in the future that number will soon change to number #7. read more

Went to 1st Watch yesterday afternoon and was very disappointed with the host at the front. Lazy, is an understatement. He was not at his station when we arrived for several minutes. Then another couple came in after us and no one knew what to do. We were looking around for someone to direct us. Finally, he arrived and ignored us and tried to take care of the couple who was standing behind us. They had to tell him we were their 1st. I hate to use the black card but it sure felt like it. Also, did I mention that my husband was on his lunch break and we didn't have time to waste. Came here for breakfast recently with my wife (who had already been here with her sister). I was very excited that a First Watch was opening in our area, and I wasn't disappointed. The seating area to the left is far more spacious than it appears when you first enter. Our breakfast entrees were prepared perfectly and the server was a very perky and personable young lady, spot-on with everything. It is very relaxing here and the tables are spaced apart just right. We like the First Watch in Washington Township also (were told some of this staff are carryovers from there). The tables seem better positioned at this one, so you feel a little more privacy. So welcome, First Watch, glad to have you here! We'll be back. I should add that we went on a weekday morning and were seated right away. We tried to go there the weekend before and it was mobbed, so we didn't attempt it, so try to go there weekdays or very early on weekends. read more
