Their lessons are coed, which may or may not be an intimidating factor. Personally, I tend to like plenty of exposure to testosterone...........but that's just me. Group lessons are an hour long, twice a week for four weeks, and very reasonably priced. I am in my fourth series and always look forward to group lessons. The tennis instructors are extremely personal and create relationships with all their students. To supplement my group lessons I also use their ball machine, an inexpensive private lesson for beginners like me. They also cater to the more advanced player by offering tournament and league play, as well as group lessons. If you are looking for a way to meet new people or if you are looking to get serious about tennis, this is the place!

Incredibly disappointed. when Sting Soccer Club merged with the club our child was already playing…read morefor, we decided to keep her in and embrace the change. we were in constant communication with coaches, local directors etc (Lincoln NE) and nobody bothered getting back to us about team formations. We literally asked at every practice and had several follow up emails that ended with "someone will get back to you" with no response.(this was for recreation/less competitive teams btw so it isn't like my kid missed a tryout or anything) I get things get messy with a merge but my last email wasn't even acknowledged. If that is how Sting operates, we have no choice but to find a different place for our kid to play.

We joined this club because of the indoor courts, admittedly spoiled coming from playing out of a private, exclusively tennis club in Louisiana then a CC here in Texas. This club is more of a tennis academy that allows adults to play. After 6 months of membership, I was literally only able to play a handful of times because there never courts available. This club was focused on their academy side not on the membership. Some of the members I found rude and some just outright mean. My son, who is on the autism spectrum and really good player REFUSED to go back. The staff were pleasant but poorly trained. Facilities are mediocre and everything was à la carte. If you have to play outside there are many very nice public facilities in the area with very excellent tennis coaches, many for former D1 players. I didn't see the point of paying the monthly membership fees for courts you cannot use. Other than the status of belonging to a club owned by a famous player it was really left wanting. I hope things have improved but these are my experiences which was quite disappointing to the point that I paid the early termination fees to leave. Things I wish I had known before joining. Your experience maybe different.

It's fortunate for people who are close enough to sign up for membership. If this facility was in Dallas, I'm sure it would be overcrowded and people would have difficulty reserving courts.

He gives such great feedback to the athletes. It doesn't matter if you're a basic or advanced stunter. They have people of all ranges that show up. Ryan is really great about making his way around to everyone. He makes an effort to learn everyone's name and get to know them. You feel right at home there. In most gyms stunt classes I have to do a lot of coaching with my girls. The people running the class like to stick around the more advanced stunters because that's more "fun" to work with. But Ryan is great and makes sure to work with everyone. It's great when you find a coach who actually knows what they're doing and clearly enjoys what they do! I have an infant and a husband who travels. I LOVE that I'm allowed to bring my son with me. Granted I keep him in the carrier the whole time, I worry about someone stepping on him. But I'm so appreciative of a gym that will allow me to work with my girls and have my son with me! Talk about family friendly! If you're in high school thinking about cheering in college, you're in college looking for somewhere to stunt or you're old like me and just like to see if you can still do a few skills I definitely recommend going here on Thursday nights at 8:15. I writing this to you to express my concern with the Keller Soccer Association and as a word of…read morecaution to anyone looking to sign their kids up. I've coached for 3 seasons now and I have decided to pursue another league where they truly support sportsmanship and a fun experience for the kids and parents. Just two weeks ago my U5 kids had to suffer through another experience playing a team that lacked a coach with ethics, referees who don't understand the game and no supervision from KSA. The other coach had the audacity to verbally tell his kids in front of all the parents and referee to use their hands and arms to "control the space" around them. Let me repeat, these were 4 year olds! Everyone heard their coach say this repeatedly, it was no secret. As a lifelong soccer player I found this very confusing as you are not allowed to hold your arms out to push players away. I can't imagine instructing my 4 year olds to do this, when many of them don't understand the difference between a corner kick and goal kick. Predictably, their team was pushing my players and at times pulling them to the ground. At one point in the game, the foul was so blatant that the referee finally called it. But who really cares because I had to go on the field and pick up my crying player. I instructed my team to go to our bench as I was tempted to stop the game completely because the referee could not control the game. For the remainder of the game, my players would only run alongside their players because they were afraid that they would get pushed to the ground if they got too close. This is unbelievable and unacceptable for U5 or any age! The Bulldogs coach came on to the field and explained to the referee that "his players are allowed to use their hands to hold away the opposing team to protect their space." He also said "why should I care since the referee called a foul." The referee just stood there and didn't say anything. I allowed my team to go back on the field and finish the game as there was only 1 quarter left. Of course, my players are confused and asking if its ok for them to push back. I said no. In fact, I removed my player from the field when he pushed one of our own players. Ultimately, KSA is responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I expressed my concerns to KSA leadership and their response was predictably poor. If you do decide to sign up with KSA, just remember that the referees will be too young to instruct and there will be no KSA supervision available to help you when the other team's coach has decided that his dream to be in the World Cup. PS. Because of the population of Keller, there will always be plenty of new players to come along for KSA. This is a function of quantity not quality. I know of at least three teams that are electing to pursue other opportunities. Hopefully there will be more!

Conquer Ninja Gym is more of a place to come take classes or host a party over an all of the time…read moreopen Gym/Play area. We came for a classmate of my kids birthday here. If your kiddo is looking for something very ninja warrior where they try to run up curved walls to see how high up they can go ... or can dangle from things; its a great spot for those kinds of kids. Especially if you need them to burn off some energy. The kids all had fun, but based on how a couple things went we know its not something my family would sign up our kids for on our own based on our intrest. Though a number of kids had a great time. Where I knock down a star is found it not to be different ablity friendly, as other similar kid gym places we've had my younger kid signed up at in the past. (Kid strong when still an option in the area was OT/PT kid friendly.) Obviously not everything is for everybody; and I'm not talking something like someone in a wheelchair or ... but and they didn't seem prepared for a kid who might have something like OT/PT differences. There was a few things that didn't sit right with another mom and I at the party.

The StarCenter has multiple locations across the great state of Texas, but this one is in Farmers Branch, outside of Dallas. Friendly people. Multiple rinks. Just select the one you're there for and pop a squat. This center is easy to get to, as it's right on Stemmons. No pay parking. Great bargain - can't beat that! Leagues are decently priced, and think of all the new friends you'll meet. Meet up with friends to play or just watch. Come on out!
