Jeff came out today to replace my water heater and troubleshoot a leaky faucet. He is friendly and straight forward and I could tell in the first 5 minutes that he wasn't out to hoodwink me into costlier repairs than I really needed. (I had been taken to the cleaners by another prominent local plumbing company so had a bit of a chip on my shoulder going in to this repair) He has been a plumber for a long time and is very knowledgeable - which is especially helpful for older plumbing fixtures. After giving my custom made 60's era kitchen sink set up a good looksy, he told me it would cost more to fix than replace. I really appreciate that level of honesty. My Dad stopped by during the water heater install and was so impressed with Jeff's work and work ethic that he took his card and will use him the next time he needs plumbing repair. He arrives on time, doesn't take breaks that I could tell, including skipping lunch, to get the job done. Both Jeff and his work were professional, timely, and completed over and above our expectations. The work included moving a toilet, plumbing the vanity for the new half bath, moving the plumbing for the washing machine, adding a utility sink, and installing a re-circulation pump so we could have instant hot water at all the faucets in the house. I called Jeff as he was referred to me from another plumbing business. I have a wall hung toilet in my upstairs bathroom, and I was looking for a replacement that would be taller. Jeff told me that he was not aware of a replacement that existed, but I might find a taller handicap suitable seat. I was also worried about some stains around the base of the unit, and he noted that the four nuts holding the toilet to the wall saddle/bracket were in need of replacement and suggested a source on the net. I found the correct nuts, and replaced the old ones, centering the unit on the wall mount correctly. His advice was perfect. I still feel bad that I didn't give him a tip, as he wouldn't accept any remittance. He was very personable and customer oriented for sure. Awesome technician and doesn't break the bank. They're the best plumbing company we've ever used including our east coast days. We'd had a bad experience with another local plumber and so when our refrigerator's drinking water line broke suddenly, Jeff came out right away even though he was swamped with bigger business. He make it "bullet-proof" so that the problem would never arise again. It hasn't. Since they were so great, we hired them to consolidate our two hot water tanks into one large one. We recently had a leak in our sewer pump. I can't say enough about the great service Eagle Plumbing gave us. There was a call back within a couple of hours and he came out that day to review the problem. Jeff Blymyer gave an honest assessment and solution. He arranged to pick up a new and better pump and had it installed within a couple of hours the next day. His pricing was remarkable, since I was quoted double what he charged me from another plumbing business. I wish I had know about Jeff years ago. Simple straightforward plumbing I have done in the past. When I looked at how to plumb a remodeled shower, I knew it was way beyond what I could figure out (ABS drain over and around copper tubing).
