I have been a loyal customer with Robinson Plumbing and wanted to use them as a reputable local brand. I trusted the technician's expertise in a stressful moment, but looking into standard plumbing rates following the estimate, it is clear they have thrived on a lack of transparency with customers and overcharged people for 40 years (a reputable plumber the manager told me). The manager offered me a 5% discount for my troubles, which would have amounted to $40 off my $800 bill.
