One plumbing company suggested we would have to replace our entire water main from the meter to our house costing upwards of $15,000. Then a contractor friend of ours recommended West Sound Plumbing saying he was highly confident they would solve the problem. And they did just that! After a morning of persistent investigation, the technician, Rodrigo, identified the issue as a failed underground pressure reducing valve that KPUD said should not exist. I knew something was wrong but being a weekend I decided to wait it out. Sunday evening I attempted to take a shower and there was no hot water. The heater had kicked. My wife, daughter and I needed hot water so I began calling plumbers first thing Monday morning. Herdman Plumbing had great reviews and were local so I called them. They had a crew at the house within a few hours and were able to remove the old heater and replace it before I even got home from work.
