The whole process was ridiculous, if not for other reasons I would have paid the $69 and sent them away. Absolutely unhelpful person on the phone. I was charged $1200 to replace delta shower cartridge replacement. He told me it would require a lot of work. The only thing the person did was turn the main water off, drain the water which I had already done and the rest of the water was took two mins to drain, put in the new part which cost ($80). Calibration of heat. And turning back water on . This is the most ridiculous amount I paid for. The whole work took 20-30mins. When I called them after and asked why I was charged I never got a break down of the cost. I asked quotes for other services and they are over priced. There better and cheaper options available. My handyman who came later said I was overcharged for the work as well. I would not go by the other reviews in here. Training, drug testing and other is not done for the specific job and that's a lame excuse to overcharge customer and lose their trust!

When the plumber arrived, he took a look at our situation and immediately knew what was wrong. Instead of charging us, he explained to my husband how to fix the problem himself if he would rather choose that option. My husband was very appreciative as he would rather fix the issue himself. The issue was just as the plumber had described and my husband was able to resolve the problem. To know that this business was not just out to make money and charge us for coming out to our house was such a relief and so appreciated.

We had requested that we have 2 estimates written up: one with the bbq line and one without. This was stated when the appt was made over the phone as well as requested to the tech when he was here. Unfortunately neither estimate was sent for over a week. The receptionist/PM Roxanne who I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and accommodating. She got the estimate emailed to me quickly after requesting it, but then I had to contact them again in order to get the additional estimate that didn't have the bbq line included. Of the 3, these guys were the most expensive estimate I received for the work. The cost was 2x more than the mid price option. They may do great work, but we didn't get that far. I guess there is a reason people tell you to shop around for plumbing work!

The worst customer service. The technician arrived a full 2 hours and 19 minutes after saying they…read morewere on their way to my address. They arrived with 3 minutes left in the scheduled 2 hour repair window. And the worst part is that they truly do not care how their incompetence impacts and inconveniences their customers and their customers' neighbors. I have read some of the negative comments about this company, and am amazed at how the same, obviously thin-skinned, guy who chastises his own customers for not picking up the phone, reaching out and trying to resolve situations chose not to even try to call, reach out or try to resolve this situation. Hypocrisy much? Anyway, Danika plumbing had been recommended by an HOA member and I had previously used the company for a plumbing issue in 2019, with which I had been satisfied, so I decided to reach out to them for a current plumbing issue in my condo in Capitol Hill, Seattle. Travis, who was punctual and professional, was the first technician to be dispatched. He diagnosed the issue, but since I live in a condo building, notice of a water shut-off would need to be sent to all residents prior to the repair. He had mentioned the difficulty of finding parking in the area, so the company was well aware of the average drive time and time to find parking. The next day, Thursday, I called to schedule the repair for Thursday of the following week, which gave them plenty of time to schedule their resources and for me to coordinate with the HOA to send a notice of water shut off to the other residents in the building. I was advised that the repair appointment would be from 10.00am to 12.00pm, at which time I advised that there was no full-time building maintenance/manager and that the technician would need to shut the water off and drain the building (a process that would take approximately 20 minutes.) At 9.38am on the day of the appointment I received a text that the technician was on the way to my address for the 10am appointment. At 10.30am, when nobody had arrived or called with an update, I decided to call to ask why nobody had arrived yet. They seemed surprised or unaware but said they would reach out to the technician. At 10.42am I received a call from the technician, saying that he had to stop at Home Depot for a tool, that the traffic was bad and that he was still about 40 to 50 minutes out. The average drive time from Everett to Seattle is 40 to 50 minutes!!! One hour after being 'dispatched' he clearly had not even left, or had only just left, Everett. He said that he would be there at 11.30am, but assured me he could get the water drained and the repair completed in time to get the water back on by 12.00pm. He said it would save time if I would be willing to turn the water off and drain the building. Since I am neither qualified nor insured to do so, I declined. At 11.57am, with 3 minutes left in the 2 hour repair window, 3 minutes to when the water needed to be back on for the other residents and a full 2 hours and 19 minutes after Danika said he was dispatched, I received a call to let me know he had arrived at the property. He apologized and made numerous excuses about traffic, difficulty finding parking and having to get a tool at home depot (all of which, any company with a modicum of understanding of good customer service, let alone common sense, would have built into their scheduling beforehand) but had difficulty explaining why, even considering those factors, how it could have taken 2 hours and 19 minutes from time of dispatch to arrive at his job site. He told me to reach out to the office to reschedule, seemingly unbothered that I had taken time off from work for this appointment and that my neighbors had gone without using water for 2 hours for no reason at all, or that we would have to do it all over again for a second time. I advised him that the text saying that he was dispatched at 9.38am and on his way to my address was clearly untrue and dishonest, that it was an awful way to treat customers, and that I was not sure that I was either comfortable or confident in rescheduling with a company that had such low regard for its customers. Nonetheless, he said he would talk to his manager and have them reach out. Nobody from Danika ever reached out for the rest of the day. This morning at 11.15am, with no attempt being made to salvage the situation, or at the very least an apology, I called and requested that they reimburse the payment I had made for the repair that was never done. At that time I was told that accounting, the previous evening, had noted that they had issued a refund check. It is unbelievable that this company, obviously aware of the issues and inconvenience it had caused myself and my neighbors, made a conscious decision that they did not even need to reach out and apologize. Do better!!! Honesty is a good place to start!!! 2 hours 19 minutes to get from Everett to Seattle. On a bicycle maybe!
