Valeria also accommodated my request to play a millennial throwback playlist, and every hit had us singing along--it was the perfect soundtrack for the afternoon. Our server, Skylar, was equally wonderful. She made excellent wine recommendations, was attentive without ever making us feel rushed, and truly made us feel at home. We were given the option to sit anywhere we wanted, and shortly after, another staff member brought our bottle along with complimentary snacks. We also learned that you're welcome to bring your own snacks , which is such a nice touch! The atmosphere here is so peaceful and lovely. That alone set Boaventura apart from most wineries. The wines were excellent! There wasn't one bad one in the ten that we tasted. That's pretty amazing, even for fantastically epic famous wineries. And to find that in Livermore Valley is even more awesome. I will absolutely return to Boaventura and I recommend it as a must-stop to all of my wine-loving friends. This event was a great way to pre game for the 4th. WTR schedules events for their customers and members that invite community and what better way than to share with a glass of outstanding wine. They had a live musician named Chris Rogers singing and playing the guitar; don't forget to tip him. If you don't bring your own food, don't worry, they have a caterer on-site to buy from. You can also sit at their tables if you buy a couple of bottles instead of doing the tasting. I noticed they also have comedy shows once a month in the summer and hope I can check that out.
