Horrible service! They damaged my driveway and the owner said they are not responsible since tow trucks run off the side of driveways all the time! When there is a one foot drop on the side of the driveway, and you drive off - the underside of the truck can damage the driveway. Not sure why the owner can't grasp this simple concept. read more

I own a business and I reached out to Eagle Towing to tow abandoned cars from my business. When I called to have a car towed, it took nearly 2 hours for a tow truck to show. The man I spoke to on the phone was beyond rude and said "Private properties are not our priority" and was in general very unprofessional and unhelpful. I will find another towing company to work with. Stay away from this one. read more

Eagle towing moved my tool box to my new shop. When they did the wrecker driver over tightened the straps and crushed it. Woody told me he would pay to replace the damaged part. I paid in advance to get the part and put labor into installing it. I sent woody a receipt for the for the part and was told he would send someone to the shop to give me a payment, but that never happened. It has been a year now. I understand mistakes happen, but a company needs to be able to make it right when they do. read more

I have used this company 3 times in the last month due to unfortunate car problems. They have been there is such a timely fashion. I needed my car towed at 4 am and when I called they were so nice and helpful. The tow was very cheap, cheaper then the competition and I was very happy with the handling of my vehicle. Tricky tow for my Mercedes sportster. Very low ground clearance and the front tires were locked in a turned position. Trey had the right equipment and knowledge to do the job. He had it on the flat bed in 15 minutes. The price was reasonable and they showed up on time. Highly recommend. read more

Update: I used Eagle Towing again last week. Their exceptional service somehow improved! Not only were they able to fit me into their schedule, Mr. Woody was also so very gracious and accommodating. I would give them 10 stars if I could!! Eagle Towing provided the best experience with a towing company I have ever had. Woody was extremely knowledgeable, punctual and best of all had a great calming personality. Woody even recommended Sun Auto Service in Cedar Park for the repair my vehicle needed. Sun Auto capped off the unfortunate situation with excellent customer service, turning the ordeal into an overall enjoyable experience. These Guys are super pro! Our vehicle broke down north of Georgetown on I-35 around 10pm. They answered my call immediately, and had a truck there super fast. Incredibly professional driver had our bus up on the truck and rolling in no time. Drove our crew and vehicle to South Austin, for a very reasonable price. Excellent conversation the entire drive also. Take it from a guy who drives an early 80's short bus that is prone to breaking down. Best company I have used to date! I get towed a lot. I was picked up by a really nice guy named Woody. Very courteous & nice to talk to. But, I was charged $78 for a 3-4 mile towe. The price is very dissapointing........... The office manager Tracy ended up calling me 20 min after I got dropped off by Woody to check on my experience & I said it was wonderful but that I thought the price was to high. She asked me what I thought it should have been & then reimbursed me the difference. I have never had better customer service & was so happy about my experience. I had 10 soldiers in my van when the entire tread off my front, driver-side tire blew out while I was on the highway going 80mph AT THREE AM. It was such a scary moment. To top it off, the jack in the van didn't work properly, and the lugnuts weren't coming off with what we had in the spare kit. Geico had me on hold for 40 minutes, two other towing companies weren't any help, but THIS company came through. From the point of contact to the point I was able to drive away was no longer than 45 minutes. The man was amazing, polite, and managed to keep us all safe. This company was called to help me pull my car 5ft from the road stuck in mud. They took advantage of a person in distress and charged me $200 to do this!! Not only that but I was then told that if I didn't pay my car would be towed leaving me stranded!!! How do they stay in business. Don't be taken advantage of and call another place. This towing company deserves no stars. The driver damaged my mirror. I informed the driver about my at mirror when we arrived at the location. The driver then stated "they'll fix it". Towed a RV improperly without closing the slide out severely damaging our home. Then refused access to our belongings...our kids pictures, my brother's death certificate, even the title proving the RV was ours. Terrible service. Rude and petty staff. As a result, a disabled veteran and his wife have been essentially homeless for a month. read more

Can't say enough about Eagle Towing and Recovery. I was so frustrated after dealing with Good Sam Roadside for 5 hours I decided to called Eagle. Our rear tire on our 40foot 5th wheel caught fire. We were blocking a lane of traffic so to say I was at the end of my rope is an understatement. Woody the owner of Eagle was so kind and said no worries we will be there in 30 minutes and we will take of you. OMG we were towed to an RV park for the night. We had arranged to be towed to a repair shop at 9:30 in the morning. At 9:30 here comes the hugh tow truck and off we went. Eagle towing is helpful and reliable. I have never been so mad in my life....My car was towed by Eagle Towing today (yes, I was parked for five minutes in a restricted area, I know it's their job - that's not what I'm upset about). Since I had left my car for only a few minutes, as I came out I saw the tow truck just pulling away with my SUV on it. A lady in the parking lot said she had watched them load it up and even took pictures with her cell phone because they had done such a lousy job in their rush to get it loaded up. She mentioned that it was a closed parking lot and the truck had to come back out of the driveway I was standing in to get out of the lot. Since it was a large parking area and I couldn't see my car by walking around the first set of buildings, I waited by the entrance for several minutes for it to appear. When it didn't, I walked over to another tow truck from the same company that was parked near the entrance and asked if he could call the company to release my car before they left with it. He called, but said the dispatcher would have to call him back later....then he disappeared - I assume with another tow job. I waited another ten minutes ( I had my by now very sweaty and heat rash covered 10 month old baby in my arms which was why I couldn't schlep around the large parking lot to find the truck with my car ) before another tow truck pulled in to the lot. As I walked over to ask him to follow up with the dispatcher about my car, the tow truck with my SUV comes hauling ass out of the parking lot behind me. I run down the road yelling and chasing him, but he doesn't stop. I go back to the other guy waiting near the entrance and beg for his help to just call the company and ask them to tell the truck to turn around. I can still see it waiting to turn onto the main road. He says there's nothing he can do since the vehicle left the premises. I try to explain that I asked for help ten minutes before when my car was obviously still on the premises, but at this point I'm pretty hysterical that I'm stuck out in the heat with an extremely hot and now sunburned baby whose food, water, and diapers are in my SUV now disappearing around the corner. I walked to another tow truck (yes, the third one from the same company) and tearfully begged him for help also - he told me I had to call the dispatch number on the side of his truck. I called it and explained the whole thing to the guy, pleading for him to call the truck and ask them to turn around so I could get my son out of the heat - it was over 100 degrees and in the full sun. He refused. Said I could come pick up my car at the impound, and that the fee was nearly $300. If I wanted to wait for the tow truck to arrive there with my SUV, they would turn it around at that point and send it back for another $100 fee. At this point my husband was on his way to the impound place to pick up the carseat and bring it back to me so we could then all drive back to the impound place to get my car - so the dispatcher's option would not have helped us at all. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT FOUR "MEN" FROM THIS COMPANY COULD NOT BE BOTHERED TO SPEND TWO MINUTES OF THEIR TIME TO HELP A STRANDED AND OBVIOUSLY DISTRAUGHT MOTHER & BABY ON A FREAKING 100 DEGREE DAY. I FELT THAT THEY JUST WANTED TO GET MY CAR TO THEIR LOT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE TO GET THEIR IMPOUND FEE AND CONTINUE TO TOW AS MANY VEHICLES AS THEY COULD. I didn't care about the fees, I didn't care that they had towed my car - I know it's their job. We just needed them to not leave the lot with my car. Which four people knowingly allowed to happen with a BABY in my arms!!! I will be sure to never use this company in the future, to tell everyone I know needing a towing company of my experience, and to never patronize any business that uses this company as their parking lot monitor. read more

Needed my car towed less than three miles to the dealership. They wanted $130 which is ridiculous. I called back less than 10 min later to cancel and was told it was already loaded on the truck. I wanted them to take it off but they wouldn't unless I paid them. Paid them for what? Loading the car on a flat bed? I know its super hard and difficult to hook a wench on the front and pull it onto the truck. I was then told if I didn't pay, they would just impound the car. Guy on the phone was rude. Though the driver who called to get my info was very polite and courteous. Don't use them! read more

Woody was the most unprofessional business owner I had ever encountered! I parked in a business parking lot ONLY to walk into the business across the street to find out where to park as all the spots were full. My car was in this spot for less than 4 minutes. I was told by Woody, owner that he had been watching me circle for the last 10 minutes. He knew I was struggling with finding a parking place (for an appointment I had at a business across the street). He literally was hiding and waiting for me to exit my vehicle so he could take full advantage the minute I turned my back. And that is exactly what he did! I was told I could pay $125 cash now or $300 at impound lot. The driver also told me to get in his truck and he would take me to the ATM machine!!!!! After I walked to the ATM machine and he followed me there with my SUV Woody, asked me for my name and then told me, "I don't care if you sign this receipt or not"! Obviously this was to his benefit to pocket the fast cash he just made and not document it. I do realize that this is a business and there was a no parking sign where I parked but the issue is the way it was handled by the owner of this towing company. He was extremely disrespectful and literally stocked me in this parking lot waiting for me to be his next victim! read more

I called Eagle Towing and needed an emergency tow for my daughter who was driving my car and it stalled on I 35 on the inside shoulder. When I called the tow company they were really busy and it was going to be 30 minutes before he could send someone to her. After hearing how worried I was about my daughter being stuck on 35 next to the left lane, the man I was speaking to was nice enough to have someone break away from what they were doing for my daughter. Fortunately my husband got to her quickly and was able to get the car started. I was able to cancel the tow, but I wanted to at least put a review on her for others to see the responsiveness of Eagle Towing. I will call back if I need another tow. We do have 5 cars! Driver did an excellent job working his vehicle to unload the 20,000 lbs of turf by deft maneuvering of bed angle and load. Well done! This is the best towing company in the greater Austin area! I will use this towing company again and again--and I have had some pretty bad problems with other towing companies. Due to a clerical error from my fleet company, they didn't have my correct phone number and waited over an hour and a half while they tracked me down. The gentleman (I wish I remembered his name!) was very pleasant, patient, and professional. He changed my tire in under 10 minutes and didn't even offer to try to tow it, which is what I wanted in the first place. He saved me money and time. THE BEST! read more

I needed a tow truck FAST!! On my drive into Hutto we started calling Tow companies . Everyone we called said they couldnt be there in a short time .One even said not at all that day.. So we called Eagle and I was talking so fast and frantically Im suprised they could understand anything I was saying..I asked how quickly they could meet me at a Gas station and the guy said he would be there in 20 min more like 10 min!!! Geoffrey pulled up and I filled him in on what was happening and he followed me to where the car was..He was so professional and very nice.. He had the car up and towed in 5 min . Even without a key... Then we had to wait awhile till some things got worked out and Geoffrey waited patiently and calmly . Then 2 hours later we were able to tow my car to a safe location.. He didnt have to help me like he did but he did.. Geoffrey isnt your typical tow truck driver he was actually polite, helpful and professional..This is a real review and this is a true story.. I am so glad that none of the other companies we called first were able to come, because then we wouldnt had the pleasure of using Eagle Towing.. I highly recommend them and I will not be calling any other Company when or if I ever need a Tow truck again... read more
