Fabulous!!!! Mathew is so careful, thoughtful & does a great job! Not sure why, but we've had a plethora of Towing experiences this year !!!! Leander Towing does outstanding work. Even when busy they do their best to get somebody out to you in the shortest time possible. This is the second time we have had Matthew and it's because I requested him. He's got to be one of the nicest people I've ever met. He is large and in charge!! He knows his stuff! He had to bring a large flatbed as our Durango quit working again ..... He had to really consider how to get the tow truck in the driveway without hitting the mailboxes, which unfortunately are right across the street from us. The reason I requested him is he had done such an incredibly good job with our son's Corvette. He had to be very cautious and calculate how he could get the flatbed truck backed up to be able to get the car up onto it. It had zero power. I opted to use Leander Towing, even though we have roadside with our insurance company . There are those times where it just pays to use local businesses and this is certainly one of them. Great experience ! I own a small auto shop in Round Rock. A customer of mine had a fleet truck break down in Leander today; I needed it towed to my shop. I've never dealt with this business before, but I decided to try. Great decision. I talked to Nicki (spelling?) - she was professional, pleasant, polite and helpful. She's got great customer service skills. When the wrecker driver arrived with the broken down truck, he helped me to jump start it out in the parking lot in front of my shop, after off-load. He had a great attitude, and he was happy to help out. He also made sure to confirm the bill amount with me, which was very reasonable for flatbed transport to begin with. The worst experience of all time......towed my car after being pulled over and police requested the tow due to no insurance....the plates had also been swapped a crime agaist me I was unaware of so now I'm spending 400 dollars for 17 hours and for them to break my cv axel and tie rods ...then tell me they weren't responsible when I can prove they are....they think I won't sue or vocalize this every chance I get. Today 5/27/2024 my wife who is pregnant had a tire blowout on County road 282 heading to work she was stranded almost 3hrs before I could get there in the hot sun. She first contacted driveroadside.com. They had quoted a hour, as she was waiting on the side of the road she noticed the technician they sent out look right at her and kept driving. She contacted dispatch and they said she wasn't in the system even though they sent someone out and charged her card $200. They told her to dispute it but did not offer any further help during her emergency. They are a scam that's theft/ fraud, I will be reporting them to BBB. On the bright side we called Leander Towing and they sent Victor out within a hour. He was awesome very friendly and provided information about getting reimbursed by our insurance and tips on if a situation like that occurred again. Not only was it cheaper but they came in clutch. Today was one of those days...What can go wrong, will go wrong. My husband said his car won't start and hes like 30 min away in Austin (& were in CP)I did not use this service only because they had a vehicle that was being fixed. The woman on the phone was super ,over the top sweet. The prices they had were also great. She even gave me info to find a different company. 99% of businesses do not do that. They have great reviews on Google so I thought I'd give her/them one on for today. I use Yelp for finding anything to read reviews. Some I take with a grain of salt but I don't trust a company that has almost all horrible reviews. Like I said,even though I used another towing service, this woman was above and beyond kind and loving. People like her aren't like that anymore. So thank you,whoever answered the phone and listened. So, my car broke down at 6:30 PM on a busy road about 15 miles from Cedar Park. I called several tow companies, but they didn't have any available drivers, or were going to make me wait for 3 hours on the side of the road. That's when I saw Leander Towing on Yelp with their 5 star rating. I'm extremely glad I chose to call them. The young lady who answered the phone was polite and professional, completely opposite of the other companies I called. She sent Scott out to get my car. He was there in less than 30 minutes, which is great time for that area. Scott was also polite and professional. He delivered my car to the shop in North Austin with no issues.
