On the N I-35 frontage road near West Old Settlers Blvd / East Old Settlers Blvd, I encountered a tow truck operated by Eagle Towing and Recovery that was driving in an unsafe and aggressive manner. The driver was traveling at a high rate of speed and nearly rear-ended my vehicle as I was properly signaling and moving into a right-turn lane. I had to change lanes to avoid a collision. The tow truck then blocked the entire right-turn lane, preventing multiple vehicles from turning. Shortly afterward, the driver abruptly crossed multiple lanes of traffic and entered my lane in a way that forced me to brake hard to avoid a collision. The situation felt dangerous and completely avoidable. Given that tow trucks are large commercial vehicles, this behavior raises serious concerns about public safety and professionalism. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable hiring or recommending this company. I strongly recommend choosing any other towing company. No one should have to fear for their life because of a tow truck driver's actions. read more

I had a stranded truck that needed towing. I called these fine folks up at 7AM and within the hour they met me at the location. The tower, Tommy, was professional and courteous. He explained in detail the process and that we'd head out in about 30 minutes. Once the truck was loaded we headed out. Tommy is such a pro he was able to maneuver the cul de sac and drop off the truck in the same spot on my driveway where it is usually parked. You don't get that kind of service elsewhere. Last time I had a car towed (by another company) they literally just dropped it in the street. I highly recommend Eagle Towing. read more

I called to ask for a price quote. Gave the woman all the info she asked for, then she said the driver would call back. He didn't call back, but instead towed the car without consent. He then gave me an outrageous price ($280) or he would impound it. Woody and Goldy (or whatever her name is) are crooks and they stole my car. Illegally towed a car that was parked perfectly legally in front of my house. My HOA has a policy that cars cannot be on the street overnight and will be towed if left for more than 24 hours. These guys didn't even bother to check if the car had been there more than 3 hours and just took it! My friend who owns the car was left stranded and had to get a ride to go pick up the car from these jerks! Good thing I have video evidence of the car being parked at 7:30 am and towed at 10:35 am or we would have had to pay for this racket! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! read more

Absolutely the best tow service I've ever experienced!! Called this morning and they were out in minutes! Mr. Woody was super friendly and treated me with respect and great customer service! He didn't make me feel like I was just another job! He took a look at my vehicle and even gave me advise on what the problem was and the ins and outs of what I should expect to hear the mechanic to tell me. He gave me some knowledge about the problem so I wouldn't get "tech" talked into getting "a new engine". He had his "road dog" bunny with him that made the ride to shop a fun experience as well. Do not use this company unless you want to pay more than your car payment to get your car home. My truck broke down in south austin and to get it back north was over 500.00. I have towed trucks from out of town for less than that many times. I also had them bring another car two blocks that cost over 175.00 that was the same day before I knew what they were charging you would think they would cut a deal guess not read more

I had a blow out on my way home from work in a terrible spot with no spare tire and 60 miles from home. I had no clue what to do. Luckily the Roundrock police department saw me and got me moved to a safe location. Then they called a tow for me and Woody came and picked up my car. He was incredibly quick and friendly and helped me in a terrible situation. I got a tow to a discount tire 5 miles away and it was $195. Pricey but saved me. Car trouble in GeorgeTown and Brody (friendly man who I had a very nice conversation with. He managed to arrived within 15mins of us calling. Helped tow our car all the way to San Antonio. Price was decent for the distance and time we have to travel. Would highly recommend based on time efficiency and the general knowledge Brody had about the trouble of the car and how it should be fixed. read more

If you need any kind of towing service call here first. I'm currently moving our business to a new warehouse and ran into an issue getting our forklift moved to a new location. I called Eagle towing and from the very first person I talked with, to the driver (Marc) this company is 100% customer oriented. I was very impressed. My husband and I will always use Eagle Towing from now on! I was stranded about a week ago and had called a local tow service after blowing out two tires on the passenger side of my vehicle. I told the towing service that I needed a flat bed truck and he quoted me a good price and said someone who would be there within 25 minutes. An hour later, a guy showed up that could not tow me because he didn't have a flat bed and needed additional money to change out one of my tires to a spare plus he wanted additional money to get me off the shoulder of the highway? He quoted me upwards of $300+ to tow me down the street to a shop that was 1.1 miles away. He then tried to tell me that they would charge me to cancel. I got very upset and sent him away and called Woody at Eagle Towing. Woody was very understanding and he talked to me about disputing any charges that the other company might try and charge my credit card. He got on the phone his driver and told me he would have Chad out there within 30 minutes. He quoted me HALF the price of the other towing company. Chad was there within 10 minutes, with a flat bed truck and took my car to the shop for me. He was very kind to me and got my car where it needed to be. Called them last night. A Friday night before the July 4 th holiday. Called at 10pm the person I talked to was very nice and told me how long it would be and that the driver would call me when he was nearing where my car was stranded. I found the tow truck driver to be great as well. Not only got my car to my apartment but also gave me some advice on taking my car to a garage. Good experience all around. Woody was awesome. I own a fleet of trucks and have used a lot of towing companies when I encounter breakdowns. I got tired of sitting on the side of the road for 3 - 4 hours waiting. Woody actually was in the process of towing another vehicle when I called him. Being that his current tow didn't have a tight time constraint, he actually dropped the in-tow vehicle off where my truck was and hooked mine up, towed it to Buda and then came back up to Georgetown to re-hook the other truck. Had a vette at a gas station pump. I filled up, started her up, and the gear shift moved but it wouldn't shift out of park. After 2 failed attempts from other towing companies and 8 hours spent waiting, the hero from Eagle Towing showed up to save the day. Zero damage to the vette and he got it to my mechanic safe and sound and very timely. I will always use them for any future towing needs. read more

Not impressed with this service. I had to be back in Dallas by next day if possible. Driver took so long to arrive that all the local tire places had closed. They had been told over the phone that I had a flat with no spare, but when he finally arrived, I was told they don't fix tires. Driver did not introduce himself, constantly walked away from me when I was trying to ask him questions, mumbled and generally made me feel like I was a nuisance. Instead of taking responsibility for making me miss the opportunity to have my tire repaired that day, I was charged for the full amount without a real solution to my problem. read more

Unfortunately I fell victim to this company's scamful tactics today. As one other person has already posted on Yelp about this company and what happened to them, I too went to Torchy's Taco's to pick up a to-go order for myself and several of my co-workers during our lunchtime and was limited on time, and after circling in the parking lot for 10 min with nothing opening up I noticed a nearby business parking lot that had been empty while I was circling, but then had 2 cars that decided to park there (since the business was apparently not open on a weekend) so I decided to park there seeing as how I was only going in for a bit to pick up my to-go order. Within a matter of less than 10 min they towed not only my car, but the other 4-5 cars that had pulled into the lot. As if it wasn't enough to walk out and find my car gone, the person I spoke to on the telephone to find out where to get my car was incredibly rude! The manager of the restaurant followed me out to the parking lot and even encouraged me to notify the City and file a complaint because this company has been sitting and waiting on unsuspecting people and taking advantage of them during prime time and taking customers for a cleaning! I can understand if the cars had been parked there for hours at a time, and duing business hours, but IT WASN'T! I was inside no more than 10 min. There is no way they could have came and towed my car in that amount of time had they not been lying in wait to do so! And another thing, I believe all the reviews on their website are FAKE. They are not worth even 1 star but I could not post this without at least putting at least 1!! read more

As most people do, had a lot of concerns with finding a quality towing company in a short amount of time. Was able to call Eagle, get a quote, get a tow truck out, and get my car towed to the shop all within 30 minutes. Gilbert was extremely professional and I really had no reason to be worried whatsoever. Hopefully I won't need them again but definitely know who to call if I ever need a tow. read more
