At this point I did not want to deal with them anymore and made other arrangements to pick up the same exact model slingshot in Pennsylvania, while I was en route and 6 hours away Mineola Moto calls me to inform me that the slingshot was mine (the other customer never showed up) what a circus show ! Glad I took my business elsewhere.

I had the engine restored previously and it was a runner but deserved to be redone after so many years. After some back and forth initial emails with Robbie, I brought it in. Robbie clearly discussed potential options that included less costly fixes all the way up to a full resto. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me. I chose the full resto and what came out after months of work was fantastic. The final cost was within the parameters of Robbie's estimate. Throughout the restoration Robbie would send me pics with updates which I really appreciated. I also brought my '66 Vespa in for a tune up. Great overall service.

You get what you pay for here and that is great customer service, high quality repairs and expert knowledge. It's no wonder I saw about 4 other moped rider dropping off or picking up their bikes while I was there.. these guys know their stuff! Also, in case you're reading this and considering bringing in your moped... just know that they only work on actual oldschool mopeds (ie. with 2 stroke engines and pedals).
