Played here on a Friday morning. It was our second golf outing in 3 days and we were hoping to take out a 12 pack and hit the ball around. Unfortunately - no coolers are allowed and there are no exceptions - which I think is annoying. But that's how it is. I would say this course is definitely odd compared to others - maybe harder is the word - with weird marsh obstacles and dog legs with hazards surrounding it. We played right after a day full of rain so the course was cart path only and very very wet. Somehow we managed. read more

I played a round of golf here a couple years ago in the spring and absolutely loved it! I have an aunt and uncle that live in Baltimore, so a friend of mine and I went for a golf trip and stayed with them. It's a 2 hour drive from Baltimore, but we'll worth it to play this course. It was so unique with the layout being surrounded by marshlands. We saw all sorts of native wildlife while out playing and the course offers a really memorable round! I'd definitely play here again! read more

Played this course while in for the White Marlin Open. The starter followed my group around and accused us of playing with another group multiple times even though we clearly were not. I've played hundreds of courses all over the US and have never been treated like this. I brought it up when we came into the clubhouse thinking there would be some sort of explanation and the second starter had no comment. Will not return to this course. read more

Took our money and said have a good round. 45 minutes later said the course was flooded and could not refund us our money. Rain checks are one thing but taking our money and kicking us off of the course is another. They would not refund us our money either and we are not from the state. Play at your own risk. read more

I'll go with 3 stars here because I don't want the course to be viewed negatively because of the awful cranky woman working at the clubhouse bar/snack stand. The course was great even on a day of awful weather and cart paths only!!! Great lay out, a lot of different shots to hit. After the round we went inside to grab a quick drink and a microwaved hot dog and my god you would think we asked this woman to climb Mount Everest. You're in a job of serving others and we all were nothing but respectful and tipped you WAY more than you deserved. But to make a comment to someone when they order a drink saying "you should have asked me that when I just poured the same drink" to the STRANGER in front of me is weird. Why would I order my drink when you were serving someone in front of me who I don't even know! Hire new help, that lady hates people and hates her job. She's ruining people experience at your awesome course! read more

Great course near golf course road. Relatively short in terms of yardage but very challenging as on several holes you have to hit over a big vegetation area. There was also a few blind holes but it is worth the money. The greens were in excellent shape. Give it a try and you will enjoy read more

Awful expirience. Had a tee time at 3:21 but the starter didn't get us off until 3:55. Starter told us we just had to have the carts in by 7:45 but then at 6pm they came around and told everyone there's no way they will get in 18 at this time and had everyone on almost the entire course come back in to get a rain check and refused cash offers. Not only that but they said nothing about not being able to finish in time. Now I understand getting the carts in by a certain time but coming in an hour and 45 minutes before they need to be in on hole 11 and telling even the groups in front of us they won't finish is absolutely ridiculous. My group doesn't live in the area and would have to make 5 hour a trip back to use the rain check but "we'll the rain check is good for a whole year" in their words. And "I don't give refunds". Owner is clearly and ass by the way he talks to you and just wants you money. The course is alright but the customer service is god awful and the guys in the clubhouse are rude and treat you like you're a chore. read more

Friday tee time at 11. The lawn mowers followed me around for the first 9 holes even managing to blow grass in my lunch as I had grabbed a sandwich after 6. Clumps of grass everywhere. Distracting beyond belief and deafening. Not enjoyable or relaxing at all. When I let them know when I turned my clubs in they just said sorry about that. $225 with rented clubs for 2 people. Yeah sorry about that but won't be back. You owe me a refund of 9 holes because that was crap. Too bad because it's a beautiful course - just really poorly managed. NICE, Beautiful, challenging, well kept, manicured and I love the GPS on the carts, without them you could get loss. Favorite par was #7 the view was outstanding! I had a little trouble with my reservations with GolfNow.com but at no fault of Egales landing. The course was awesome but I think I mostly enjoyed playing with my wife more than anything else. read more

Fantastic course with great views. If your a glizzy guy don't forget to stop at the snack bar before hitting up the back 9 and grabbing one. Seriously, this dog was the biggest and best dog I've ever had. Couldn't stop thinking about once I left the state. So after a few days we were contacted by the course stating there was a misunderstanding about flying the american flag, which was definately a nice gesture. I know in these times, every statement or action one makes can easily be misconstrued, whether intentionally or unintentionally but there should be never be a doubt about the red, white, and the blue. Very nice course overall. Can't drive carts in the lot to get clubs back and forth to the cars which I found odd. Reasonable price especially during off peak hours. Went in for a couple drinks and some food but the grill was closed before we finished so we couldn't get any food other than small snacks. We were disappointed. Decent place. read more

I've been playing golf for over 30 years and the third and LAST time I played this course had to be one of the worst golf experiences I've ever had. The first two times I played this course weren't hateful but they weren't great, However nothing could have prepared me for this last time. So to start off I showed up twenty minutes ahead of my tee time and was in the pro shop with adequate time to get ready for my tee off. Not only did the guy working the pro shop take at least 15-20 minutes to check me in, but the starter gave me a very hard time for showing up to the first tee box 5 minutes late, even though it was the pro shops fault for not checking me in at a reasonable speed. After we played the first hole, there was already three groups on the second hole not including myself and three friends. The pace of play was terrible, we waited at least 10-12 minutes to tee off on every hole on the front nine. The back nine was even worse. At some points there would be 4-5 groups on one single hole. Not to mention it seemed as if every foursome was either drunk college kids trying to have some fun or a group of old codgers with no conception of time; both groups having zero etiquette or awareness of the other golfers. Our round from start to finish took a total of 6 hours( a regular round is 4), I strongly recommend eagles landing appoints a new Marshall and a new general manager because it's almost as if they have no regard for their customers and only care about jam packing the course. The course conditions we're an overall 4/10. There are plenty of viable other courses within 10 minutes I strongly recommend. The only positive statement I can make about the course was that the cart girl was an absolute rocket and the women in the dining room can make a mean BLT. Overall I give this course a 2/10. Eagles Landing does not know how to manage pace of play, book tee times, and enforce simple golf etiquette. read more

Played the course today. Beautiful and very challenging course. Scenery was breathtaking. The only drawback was rude cart attendants who spoke poorly of us as we prepared to play accusing us of being potentially slow golfers before we even got into the course. We had driven an hour to get there so we chose to stay but it was very rude. read more

If you are looking for a course to play with your frat buddies to get drunk, ride on the roof of the golf cart, peel out in the fairway with your golf cart, play holes in a group of 8...this place is for you. $100 for a round of golf like that. Friendly staff, most importantly $$ is great after 3pm (they have coupon in most local coupon booklet for reg day rate) Course is in great shape and need course management when playing tip very enjoyable playing the whites. Do not play. We played this course in September 2019. On. A. TUESDAY. 5 hour round. Starter and ranger do absolutely nothing about it. If you love waiting on every tee and shot then this is the place for you! Go elsewhere if you like to actually enjoy a ready golf round. read more

The worst service and treatment I have ever received at a golf course. The staffs comments were sexist and rude. One worker informed me that the standard red tee boxes were blue on this course, and then proceeded to say that he didn't think I knew that I was supposed to use red in the first place, and laughed. Implying that I had no idea what I was doing. Additionally, the staff would only talk to the male members of my group and treated me and the other woman in my group as if we were incompetent. It was absolutely unacceptable behavior and truly ruined my experience at this beautiful course. Regardless of skill, sex, or age all patrons should be treated with respect. Nice short side course nestled in the woods and marsh overlooking Assateague Island. The staff was friendly and very helpful with my questions. The only thing I totally forgot upon arriving was it's proximity to the airport. At tomes the playing field was quite loud! read more

This is a very nice public course and I would suggest playing it if you are looking for a course in the $75 range. Lots of water. GPS in cart. There is a coupon on line for $10 off or free club rental. I have played this course twice, once this year and last year. read more
