In the area and hadn't had an Eagles pie in a while. Same consistent flavors...good sauce, plenty of cheese (even without adding extra) and enough pepperoni to get some in each bite. Taco a great specialty (does not come with onions in case you are wondering)...lots of lettuce and tomatoes plus taco sauce and sour cream on the side. This place catered my wedding rehearsal dinner over thirty years ago and it hasn't ever disappointed...thanks Dennis!

Used to live nearby and came all the time. Solid local pizza place. Happened to be nearby today and: it hasn't changed. Okay, sure, the menu board is electronic now. I think the bathrooms have been redone. And yes, prices are higher. But same place, same food, same experience. And that's a good thing. In a small, historic building, and the owner is a history buff so the decor is artifacts and photos from the area. (Plus his books on sale out front, Civil War-focused.) Decent sized dining area, but they do a ton of to-go business too. Good pizza. Thin-ish crust, party cut, loads of good toppings. Subs, a nice selection of sides, etc. We got several small pizzas; missed the tiny print about minis, which would be a better individual size. But hey, leftovers. And there is a display of sizes to the left of the front counter, so eyeball that. I got a sub because I remember them being good, and they are: good bread, good meat and veggies. And big. Also a side of fried cauliflower because I like it; it was enough to share. Service was great. The place is comfy. The food is good, maybe not spectacular but better than chain. Drop in if you are nearby.

We finally dined in! We usually get take away but this time decided to stay. You order at the counter, they give youba number you find a seat and they bring your food to the table. There is a soda fountain so you get your own drinks. Its really cute! Lots of local historical things on display here. They have booths and tables. Our food came out quickly. Inwas shocked by how big the salad was... and how much cheese it had (thanks Eagles!). Pizza soon followed. Crust was perfect. Honest, you cant get better taco pizza in Columbus. So good!!

Been coming to Eagles with family and friends for over 20 years; the Keesee family is great and love both of their pizza locations. The pepperoni and taco pizzas are legendary! Most recent visit was the first dine in experience in awhile; 8 adults and 3 kids under 6. It was during a busy dinner rush and although the food was excellent, the customer service was lacking. We had one order ticket "misplaced" and we had to remind them of it before it was found and that order eventually brought out. Another order was entirely lost, but rather than easily work with us on the missing order of fries ($2.69) two different employees insisted they had brought out everything we ordered (with the first person being pretty rude!) The second employee came out armed with all the tickets to prove they were right (even though they previously admitted they lost a ticket so not sure why it wasn't possible they lost two) and she was clearly frustrated to the point we felt we needed to calm her down. After an unnecessarily long time - the missing fries were brought out. The experience was not a reflection of my history with Eagles but perhaps the young staff currently employed are not accustomed to busy dinner rushes or how to appropriately handle such situations.

I can see why the locals rave about this place! Tons of tradition on the walls from this historical building. Pizza was great and boneless wings were huge and juicy. I will be ordering from here MANY more times now that we live closer. Cheers to a long-standing, local, tried and true pizza spot- gotta love 'em!

Such a cute little pizza shop! Went there for the first time tonight to grab a take out order. We kept it simple with a large pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try some other items!

Everything looked so good but we limited ourselves to one pastry each. Blueberry Gallete and Everything Danish were the winners. Great choices! The sugar sprinkles around the Blueberry Gallete put it over the top! There were so many blueberries you got a piece in every bite. The Everything Danish was good but was tad crisp. The chive cream cheese on top was so great I'm glad there was more than I would normally want. Drinks were good but took longer than we had hoped. There was only 1 barista but she was working hard with all the orders coming in. I enjoyed the latte art but sadly we got cold drinks. I enjoyed the offered seasonal flavors such as Gingerbread. I did notice that matcha was sitting in a carafe ready to go if someone was ready to order. Not sure how I feel about that as it can get clumpy waiting around. Seating can be a bit tough during peak hours. There are two communal type tables in the middle which are nice for larger groups. Outdoor patio seating as well but not on these colder winter days. Team was super friendly! Will come back again and actually enjoy a coffee and pastry there. Tip: Blueberry Gallete is soo flaky and buttery do not eat it in the car. lol. I got three huge flakes on my sweater as I took a bite. Well worth it.

ROTATION REVIEW: CRUNCHICK (First Visit)…read more Rotation Rating: Stays in Rotation -- Craving-Specific *When this place makes sense: When you're specifically craving fried chicken with real crunch and sauce-forward flavor and don't want to overthink it. This is a lean-in, two-hands kind of meal. *What I ordered: The SoyPapa Chicken Sandwich -- brioche bun, fried chicken thighs, soy garlic sauce, Swiss cheese, scallions, serrano. *Texture + cook: The chicken is very crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside -- passes the tender-ism check easily. The fry is spot-on and cooked exactly how you want fried chicken to be. *Flavor reality (clear comparison): The chicken itself isn't heavily seasoned -- if it's seasoned at all, it's subtle. Think Raising Cane's logic in that sense. The difference is execution. This is better than Cane's because the cook is excellent, the texture holds, and once the sauce is added, everything comes together in a more intentional way. *Sauce + build: The sauce is balanced, pleasant, and flavorful -- not overpowering. The ingredients actually complement each other instead of competing. *Bread check: The brioche bun is a chef's-kiss touch. It holds the sandwich together and maintains the integrity of the build without falling apart, which matters with a sandwich like this. *Portion check: The portion size is fair and satisfying -- generous without crossing into Good Burger-level Mondo Burger territory. Enough for one very hungry person, or easily shareable between two, in my opinion. Ambience + setup: Located inside Bubbly Hall, the space is casual and food-focused -- easy pickup or a quick dine-in without fuss. Would I order it again? Yes. And I'd be open to trying other sauces or menu items now that I know how their chicken eats. ‍ Bottom line: Crunchick does texture and fry quality very well. The chicken is neutral by design, the sauce brings the flavor, and the brioche bun ties it all together. Know what you're craving going in, and it earns its place in rotation.

Decided to try one. Took it and walked back to get my boba. The sample was so excellent I got my boba and returned back to shamefully get another sample. I know... thats not nice taking two... but the second sample was even better as I used a different sauce and decided this fried chicken was worth the calories and ordered the OG original crunchick sandwich. This sandwich was huge. Its menu write up say it is to have two fried chicken thighs but I found it to have a bit more. The chicken itself had a creat light crunch to it. The breading was perfect. Not too greasy, either. He said it had a secret sauce (that was like Cane's -but I didnt taste it as I doused it with the white garlic sauce... uh, YUM!). Plus pickle and lettuce were also on it. Delish! The owner takes pride in constructing the perfect sandwich, so it's wrapped nicely and the lettuce is placed so it adds to the presentation. I really liked the owner. Its always a plus that its a locally owned business. It seemed to be the busiest booth is the Bubbly Hall. I hope Crunchick does well as I feel the hall hasn't been embraced by the community, which is weird. Tbo. The hall just has a odd aesthetic, but not a bad one, just a weird use of space. It lacks something. However dont let that deter you as Crunchick will not disappoint you. Parking is free... park on the side closest to the hardware store as that is the side of the hall Crunchick is closest to. Ps: They have fries too... I didn't get them but when I saw them I wish I had. Next time!

The sauce was one of the better ones I've had in a long time. It wasn't just a red sauce out of a jar, it had pieces of the tomato in it and was very authentic tasting. The ingredients were fresh. I could smell the mushrooms from across the way, not a mushroom guy myself, but if you're into that, this will definitely be the place. My wife had the meatball appetizer because she really didn't want the bread, and she, being from Greece, focuses on how ingredients taste. They need to be fresh. They need to be more than just a filler to make up for something else. She wants to come back and just have this again. Great texture, the meatballs had flavor and work just ground beef. I'll put together like other places, this was a flavorful experience. She even convinced me to try a meatball sub next time we come. Which might be hard for me, because I like the pizza so much. There's plenty of parking in the back, they have specials and a happy hour as well. A couple of different beers on tap and a nice overflow area that's covered outside for larger crowds.
