SOOO GOOOOOOOD! Pizza from BRENZ never fails. Was recommended this place through a work rep who was bringing lunch and that initial encounter was a hit. Purchased for a work lunch for a pizza option that included gluten free options. Again, such a good choice! The pizza was soooo good! GF options were also a hit, had to tell everyone which ones were GF so they didnt' get all munched up, so that's always a good sign when ppl can't tell which is GF and which isn't ! Ordered online, the pickup was quick and ready on time! Obvious it hadn't been sitting so it wasn't prepared tooooo much ahead of time but just enough to still be HOT when picked up! I've heard this was good, and it was darn good. A tiny storefront, centered on carry out obviously. They seemed a little nonplussed when somebody walked in the door. There are a few tiny tables, but they are not set up for this. No napkins set out, etc. Food takes 15-20, not a quick fire pizza place as I'd assumed. Basically it's pizza and wings. They have a lot of interesting choices of pizza, and a few wing choices. I got the sweet hot wings, and they were meaty, and crispy, with a very flavorful sauce with a tiny bit of heat. Excellent. I got a heartland pizza I think, just a personal. But it was big enough for a meal. Loaded with good toppings. Good cheese. Thick doughy crust, cooked just right. They do a few things and they do them well. I would really recommend ordering online or calling ahead. It's possible to eat here, and I will be back. read more

Ordered pizza. Routed to grub hub for delivery without making that clear upon order completion. Grub hub driver calls me and says he has my pizza and can't find my address. I drop him a pin as to where I'm at via text. He says he can't deliver without screenshot from grub hub app where I ordered (which doesn't exist since I never ordered from grub hub). First time trying Brenz and it did not disappoint!! My boyfriend works up here and introduced me to their delicious pizza. Everybody was super nice that works in there and gives great opinions and options on what to get. It was about a 20-25 minute wait from when we ordered it so we went for a drink a couple doors down at El Vaquero. We got a pepperoni pizza with the hot honey... which was TO DIE FOR! I suggest getting the honey on all of your pizzas there. I went with a chef salad on the side as well which was your typical salad but still delicious. Brenz is a relatively new pizza joint in Dublin (opened last year I believe). My office tried to order Brenz when they first opened, but they didn't operate for lunch for quite some time. You definitely don't want to miss out in the lunch crowd, especially in Dublin! When we eventually got to try it, we didn't like it for some reason (I believe it was a mix of the pizza was too soggy and it took a long time to arrive). Well, as of this review, they fixed the issues because we received it super quick and the three different pizzas we ordered were delicious. I would go as far as to say this has become my favorite pizza spot for lunch around Dublin due to the uniqueness in taste their pizza offers. Side note; Brenz won back to back Pizza Pizzazz Competition at the Mid-America Restaurant Expo in 2017 and 2016. 14" Loaded Pep & Cheese ($21.49) - An abundance of pepperoni, plenty of cheese, and topped with crushed red peppers and more Parmesan cheese! The whole office loved this pizza, it was gone so quick. I chose the option for it to be well done, and it turned out even better than I thought it would! 14" Chicago Fire ($23.24) - Available for a limited time but I really believe it needs a permanent spot on their menu. The sausage was ideally scattered in the best spots. It confirms that the ricotta cheese really does go on pizza! The hot giardiniera really put the fire in this pizza, the peppers gave out a nice kick! 14" Rustic ($23.24) - I had to try Rustic as this was the winning pizza in the 2016 Pizza Pizzazz competition. As you can tell by my picture, someone already got to it before I even got to snap a pic of the full pizza! Rustic was the first one tried, and it was the quickest one gone. All three of the pizzas we ordered were delicious! My biggest suggestion is to make sure you order it Well Done every time. The additional preparation time adds more crisp to your bread, prevents the pizza from being floppy and mushy, and more thoroughly cooks the toppings. read more

Rustic+ - 5/5 An excellent pizza you'd be happy to be served anywhere. The Heritage - 3/5 Came burnt to a blackened crisp on one side, and even the non-burnt side was unremarkable. Cutting a Medium Pizza in Squares - 1/5 This is fine for personal pizzas, but totally throws off the crust to pizza ratio on anything larger. I just had an experience I've never had in 20+ years ordering pizza. Called at 7:30 and was told by Doriana, "We close at 9:00 and don't take orders past 9:30 and that they threw all of their product out already and weren't serving orders." I was confused and when I asked why they wouldn't serve orders because they were closing "soon" (it was actually closing at 8:00 not 9:00) she just hung up on me. Called back, spoke to an unnamed male and asked him "I was calling to find out who I just spoke to that was incredibly rude and hung up on me" - he hung up on me immediately. In 2023, service is already struggling because of the scarce work force... but this was ABSURD. Not only will I NEVER eat at this establishment, I will be LOUDLY sharing my experience. This was my first time trying Brenz, I was more impressed by the service it self, I walked in to see if the sold by the slice because I wanted to try it but definitely did not want a whole pizza. The employee at the counter told me they did not, but they did offer a personal size, so I opted for that. I decided to get the BBQ Chicken version of that. I waited about 7bto 10 min, and he brought it right over to me he even asked if I needed a plate and napkins, and I did. It was really good the best way to describe the crust is a cross between hand tossed and thin crust. It's definitely not thick at all, which is more what I like, but it's also not paper thin like Donatos or Imos where I'm from, haha. So it's kinda right between it was good. The topping kind of piles up due to that. I didn't get a chance to ask, but the BBQ sauce seems unique. I do not know if that's their own or if it's something they buy, but it's yummy!!! So my first experience was great. I would definitely recommend it for my personal size it was $10. Warning Brenz does not open until 4 P.M.! My friend and I planned to have lunch at Brenz. When we arrived we saw the sign on their door that they don't open until 4p. After our excitement bubble was burst we had to quickly rearrange plans for the day. Fast forward to opening time. We pre-ordered our pizza when they opened, and went back later that day. I found the mobile app a bit difficult to use. You have to make sure you chose the right location as there are two establishments in Columbus. The cheesy garlic bread is awesome! The pizza is tasty as well. it is one of my top picks so far in the area. It has lots of flavor and the crust is thicker and has a nice chewiness to it. It was worth the extra wait until they opened. They do not have seating to stay in and eat. It is strictly pickup and go type of pizza. read more

We had a PI Day celebration by ordering Brenz Pizza for dinner. As my husband put it, we are just adding 3.14 onto our waistline today to celebrate! I was so excited to learn that there is a Brenz now in Dublin! After getting a VIP free pizza coupon, we had to order from them. We ordered the 12in Bianca Rossa (one of our favorites - love the bruschetta topping especially), personal spinach and artichoke (took off the chicken and peppers and subbed balsamic onions and fresh garlic), personal bbq chicken, and breadsticks with marinara and garlic butter (they are like fresher crazy bread - yum)! We, of course, have lots of leftovers now too. I love the fresh ingredients and large list of specialty pizzas to pick from - highly recommend checking the menu and ordering a personal size if you want a sampler. My husband isn't the biggest pizza fan, but he loves Brenz. We also love how fresh and perfectly crispy the crust is - also the crust is not too thick or too thin, it is just right. Be sure to check out Brenz Dublin sometime soon - you will not be disappointed! They just opened so they are only open in the evenings, but soon they will be open around lunch too. read more

Breadsticks are literally just the pizza crust with some garlic powder. No Parmesan and completely flat. They look nothing like the picture on the website or the other photos of the regular breadsticks that I've seen on here. I've had the cheesy breadsticks before and while they look good they have no flavor, just as these ones. The pizza is incredible (when they don't forget toppings) but need some work on the breadsticks. read more

New to the area and it being Easter we kept finding places were closed. Pizza definitely wasn't what we were hoping for BUT I'm so happy we wound up here. Prices are on the higher side but the quality of the food made it 100% worth it. My husband got the wings and couldn't quite figure out what seasoning made them taste a little different than most buffalo wings but said they were delicious! We had 3 types of pizza and the cheese bread also and absolutely nothing disappointed. We did not realize that it's more of a take out place but they did have a small area for us to eat. Small selection of soda to choose from but again it's geared more towards take out. Customer service was excellent as well! read more

New pizza place in Dublin. Tried them on a Friday night. Very busy and backed up, but give them time to figure out how to keep things moving in a timely manner. House salad was good though they could lessen the amount of ham in it. The basic cheese pizza was baked nicely and had good flavor. The bruschetta pizza seemed a little thrown together, but still got a thumbs up. The loaded pepperoni was very good and very greasy, which I personally love. Will definitely give them another try. I want to start by saying that I am a bit jaded when it comes to pizza in Ohio. I am originally from Pittsburgh, and good, authentic hand tossed pizza served by folks with an Italian accent is ubiquitous everywhere from there to the Atlantic Ocean. However, after moving here 26 years ago for my career I have discovered that this is not the case in Ohio. I'm sorry, but most of the big pizza chains here produce better pies than the independents, and that makes me sad. There are a few fancy, gourmet offerings that are excellent (Harvest Pizza, etc.), but when it comes to traditional NY style foldin' pizza, it just doesn't seem to exist in Ohio. And what's with cutting pizza into small squares? What's wrong with you people? Okay, now that I got that out, we went to Brenz after it had been open for awhile so that they could work out any kinks. It was fast, and hot, and all that, but I'm sorry to say that it was nothing special. Even bad pizza is still pretty good, and this was fine, but some of the chains in the area do it better. The crust and sauce were average, and they use one of those awful belt-driven oven things like you would find in Burger King. My first job at age 14 was in a real Italian owned pizza place, and there is just no substitute for a proper oven with a stone deck. Anyway, Brenz was clean, the staff was nice, and the pizza was ready in a jiffy. Lots of locals will consider this really good pizza and I respect that opinion, but if you visit the northeast enough to sample some of their mom-and-pop pizza shops you will realized that the bar is set pretty low here. So relative to Ohio pizza, Brenz is more like a 4 or maybe even a 5, but compared to the rest of the world it only rates a 3 in my eyes. read more

This pizza is absolutely delicious. My new favorite in the Dublin area. According to their website, they have multiple award winning pizzas, and their pizzas taste like it! Heritage Honey is my favorite so far, but I plan to try a lot of their specialty pies! One of the few pizzas my step dad and I agree on. read more

We were here this afternoon around 430. The lady that took our order was very impatient with us even though there wasn't anyone else in line. They were out of water? This was the first time we had been here. We ordered the Loaded Up Pep and Cheese. The crust was fantastic, crisp on the bottom, soft on the top and chewy in the middle with a yeasty taste. Sauce is a little sweet. The only issue I had with the pizza is that it was supposed to be extra pepperoni and there were three big pieces with no pepperoni at all. It was pretty crowded by the time we got our pizza so we didn't say anything. Pizza definitely has potential but customer service and consistency in product need a little work. read more

Their cheese bread and cheese pizza is always on point and has the perfect amount of everything. Staff was kind and efficient. I love this place. I never thought I'd be saying amazing things about a pizza shop. People are nice. Service is great. We have ordered from here about 8 times now. A couple of missed ingredients here and there (both on Fridays during crazy busy times). Missing Kalamata or missing goat cheese. I still can't take the rating down because pizza is simply unbelievable. One suggestion for those who are creating their own, I'd rather find closest match and take topping away rather than build one from scratch. I tried this place because they have my favorite pizza topping (ricotta) and I was blown away! The pizza tasted delicious!
