The chiropractors are skilled practicioners who care about their patients…read more BUT: their hours are Monday - Thursday for chiropractic adjustments. Closed for chiro Friday, Sat. and Sunday. By my experience, this means often there's little provision to help me if my pain starts on Wednesday. By then it's often too late to get an appointment for Thursday. So I've had to endure the pain for 5 days til the following Monday. It's so hard! Even beyond that, often patients need treatments spaced regularly thoughout the week. Every other day is essentially a non option, and twice a week is difficult. If there are no available appointments on Monday and Thursday or if a patient can't make it those days, the patient has to get Mon-Wed or Tues-Thur treatments and then wait 5 days for their next treatment. Ouch. Before the pandemic their hours were great (5 days a week + Sat AMs). The pandemic has likely trimmed their patient base. So I understand if they can only give chiropractic treatments for 4 days a week. But why don't they at least open their practice Mon, Tues, Wed, and then Fri? Then a patient doesn't have to suffer for as long. They must be keenly aware how much pain they can take away with regularly spaced treatments. It troubles me that the docs are okay with noodling around for regular 3 day weekends while a number of patients struggle to manage their pain. I may have to look for a new practice. I've been loyal to this practice for 13 years, but i want to be in less pain than they're willing to help me with anymore.

I have regular issues with my lower back and my neck (due to past hernias) and Dr. Taylor did an excellent job at making me feel better. He also helps me with huge muscular issues after the loss of my wife. He really listen to the patient and never tries to make you come back every week if it's not necessary. Even though I'm really better, I still go and get regular adjustments and I feel great! The office staff is really efficient, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Taylor to anyone!

My kids like him as well. Kathryn is an office gem. Her knowledge of the body and how to get at various muscles to stretch them is amazing. I always enjoy working with her and find I learn something new every time. Chiros like any other body worker have their own unique touch. Dr. D is muscular, with an athletic build, but a gentle touch. His set up is very accurate for me and it takes little force by him to move things where they need to go, where I have had others unable to do so. He is on the quiet side but knows a lot about the body and how to treat it, beyond chiropractic.

Dr. Pollack and the rest of Proactive Chiropractic have JUST reopened up their office and pretty much as soon as I saw the email, I went to book through their *announcer voice* convenient online booking system! That's right Johnny. But for real, they are taking all of the precautions and more that you expect people who care to take. There is only one doctor on at a time, there is only one patient in the office at a time. There is one front desk associate to help you. Both the doctor and the front desk are wearing masks. There is one chair in the waiting room. As soon as you enter the office you're instructed to wash your hands. There is a sign that says please wash your hands before and after you see the doctor. The adjustment apparatus and rolly thing (technical term) is disinfected after every patient. You must wear a mask during the visit. I mean... I don't know how they could get ANY safer. And it makes me feel 100 percent comfortable visiting the office and getting my adjustment, which I was in dire need of. Dr. Pollack is as wonderful as ever. The front desk associate was as nice as a person could be. That's one of the many reasons why when anyone in my vicinity (which unfortunately hasn't been a lot of people as of recent), but if ANYONE says "My back hurts." My first and most immediate response is, "You should see my chiropractor. I have a great chiropractor, he's right off 7 locks." I can't tell you how many times I've said that, and I can't imagine how many times I will in the future.

They take my insurance as well, which is Anthem Blue Cross, so that helps with the cost. Ive been an athlete for most of my life, and now I just train at the gym and do CrossFit on occasion. I was in need for some physical therapy because I injured my groin and lower back doing heavy squats. I cannot say enough great things about this practice. So let me break it down for you... The office itself is really nice! I love the ambiance. It is a nice, cozy, trendy and clean office space. Upon walking in, you are greeted by whomever is at the front desk and there are several chairs for waiting and magazines to look at. Sam, Andrea and Carla are wonderful!!! They are very friendly and make your experience comfortable and pleasant! This place has compression machine for your legs, a physical therapy exercise area with a lot of sports/exercise equipment, office space for adjustments and additional therapies (cupping, needling, massage gun, etc.), and a warm massage bed while you're hooked up to an electrical muscle stimulation machine. Each of my appointments typically follow the same routine and i started going in twice a week for four weeks. Ill do 15 mins on the warm massage bed while hooked up to the electro stimulator, then ill do 15 minutes of compression, then 15 minutes of going through my physical therapy exercises led by Andrea. She is great at walking you through the movements and she switches up the exercises each time. Then ill see Dr. Dillon Balkin for more focused work on my injuries whether it be cupping, massaging, needling, adjustments, etc. Dr. Dillon Balkin is great! He is very professional, extremely personable and friendly, and you can tell he is passionate about his work and is very knowledgeable. I always appreciate his recommendations and they always help me progress with my recovery. My back and groin have healed tremendously and i can now do full squats with heavy weights again. I enjoyed coming here so much that I continued to go here to treat my shoulder injury from 2017 that I have been doubtful about getting treated again. I went to a different physical therapy practice for my shoulder in the past and it only got worse, so i've been hesitant to "waste money" to get it checked out again. To my honest surprise, Dr. Balkin found the issue and as i started to follow the program/exercises he prescribed me, it's actually getting better and im ecstatic! I can't say enough great things about this place. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone. I am so pleased with how my injuries have healed.
