I write from my own experiences. While a further trip then my current Audio Center, I am glad I went. She was thorough in testing and well spoken so I could hear the information she shared. I give her 5 stars. Her office person Diane was not in at this visit. I have not gotten the hearing aids yet and I can only hope they are better than the ones I currently have. Which to my surprise were covered with wax and she cleaned them for me. No wonder they were not working well. (yes, I had made unsuccessful appointment attempts at my current hearing place when I started having problems with them) Thus once gotten and adjusted new hearing aids, and seeing and hearing how they work, I can refurb on the extra star. The area is beautiful. Main Street and Argile Theater are down the block. Thre is also a pond in the back (birds with babies) off the parking area. Note: If using a GPS put in 20 Argile Square to take you directly to parking lot and upon entering note the direction of the arrows to find parking and entrance. (see pix) Office is at far end. It is comfortably furnished with varied certificates and pictures placed on the walls. Note: Hours and days, or call or check as needed for appointments and follow ups. To Dr. Wood- as noted; at this time - Heart felt strength- empathy.

For the last two years I…read morehave felt they only were interested in selling me a new hearing aid and nothing more even though I repeatedly explained I cannot afford a new hearing aid. Today I was having trouble with my hearing aid. Stephanie Hartman took my hearing to repair it and brought it back to me broken beyond repair and said I would have to send it to the manufacturer and that would cost me a minimum $500. My aid needed repair. She broke it beyond her ability to repair and now I am out a hearing aid and not a way to replace. I would not recommend this office to anyone. I think they only care about selling and not about hearing. Now I only hope I can put together money in the future to buy a new aid from a reputable doctor and company. Barbara Harris

He referred me for a VNG which is done at the Melville, NY location. When I got there, I was told…read morethat there were 3 separate parts to the test. I completed the first 2 with no problem. The last part of the test was cool air was blown in each ear for 1 min. No problem, completed. Then came the very last part. They blew warm air into the right ear and my head started hurting. I had a full blown, out of control vertigo attack. I couldn't do the warm air into my left ear. My right ear starting hurting and then I got pain behind my eye. I was so sick. I got home and couldn't function because I was really sick. The next day my ear still hurt and its still hurting now. I got a call from the Dr. London's assistant who told me since i did not complete the test, there was nothing that they could do. I should go see a neurologist. What everyone expects to happen is the doctor calls and ask why you didn't complete the test, etc. I completed 2 out 3 sections and 3/4 of the last test and they couldn't determine anything because I didn't do the warm air into the left ear. Run do not walk to another doctor. If you can't complete the test, there has to be a reason and that could help determine what the problem is. Not in this case. All the pain and agony was to no avail. Then to top it all off, I did an MRI the day after the office appointment 2 weeks ago and the results were posted 48 hours later and they did not receive them. I had them and 2 other doctors had them. So after wasting my time and suffering, they made the determination not to help me without seeing the MRI which the assistant admitted that they did not receive. What doctor can't make a determination when completing 2 different sections and finding out why the 3rd could not be completed. I guess being over 65, it doesn't pay to treat patients. I am only giving 1 star because I am forced to.

Boy do I agree about his staff…read more But here is the thing, I asked them to ask him and when I got- no he is too busy to see you, ( there is more but this is the short version) I am not under the impression it is the Doctor. They gave me guff (I gave it back- a useless effort) and office manager said that I had no appointment on their system.(s) Short story long, I called the call center and spoke with a supervisor who indeed did see my appointment. Proof. Guilty until proven innocent. Yet it took so long to get this supervisor to answer I was driving and half way home and had to pull over to speak with her. The satisfaction of knowing I have proof is lost as their website does not show a place to send copy of it. Also, after the fact what does it say- lets see how do I make it clear and put it moderately nicely- too bad on me, you don't like it reschedule (months in advance) or go somewhere else. (long hours- wait, -too bad I am told "that's how it is when you go to see doctors") Of late sadly this is what is happening when I go to doctors of whom by the way I have been a really long time patient/customer. My upset well it takes a while to calm down and let it go. But now what? Find others? PS the Plainview office location -went in- NO doctors in that day- sent me to Levittown to a Nurse Practitioner- 330 apt I am there 320pm and the 3 people who are there before me, were still in the office waiting-the 1st of the 3 was waiting over 1 and 1.2 hours. The office person, well, "she is very thorough with her patients it takes time. You don't like it? You can't wait? Cancel."" Yes". "ok." I left. This story gets longer by the minute-- PS I never did get to see any doctor even when I was not well. pps. no pictures to add.

But they are hypocrites because we travel and hour to there office on numerous occasions and get there to find the doctor has left and no appointment and no call. I'd try and schedule appointments earlier in the day if you're coming from eastern Long Island and visiting the Babylon office. (Traffic is notably faster first thing in the morning on 27.) My favorite thing about this practice? They have an on-site surgical suite that's run with precision clockwork. A 9:15 epidural had the family in the car at 10:10. (And that's only because I had to use the powder room, and ask a medication question upon my return.) This office is on point with technology. Reminders arrive via email if requested. They have every streaming service on demand for the kids to watch while they are set up. Private bathrooms for each patient. Even though the wait to get an appointment is long, put yourself on the wait list. All 3 sleep studies we were called when there was a cancellation and we got in earlier.
