The chicken bacon ranch sub is great. The service is great, too. Definitely recommend.

The local health food market is a quite majestic building; it's not far from the old downtown area…read more These characteristics are atypical of such stores (of which I have patronized many), which are usually in the sticks. I did find the prices high, if not unexpectedly so in most cases. I did find strange variation in sale items; some were substantial discounts, while in another case I saw a roughly $8 item "on sale" for twenty cents off, which seems bordering on a sort of unethical deception. The selection of produce was not huge but looked nice; this being Knoxville they had more meat than plants it seemed. Various natural and organic brands popped up. I always try to support the local businesses and I got a few things. This does seem to have a co-op structure so locals who really want to be in regularly might consider buying in.

Huge fan of this Happy Holler staple. Has such a wide variety of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free,…read moredairy-free, and straight from the local farm/vendor goods. The best part, the price is pretty competitive with grocery stores in the area. There is a hot/cold bar to grab lunch and sit in the indoor dining area or outside on their shaded patio. They also have a huge variety of grab-and-go pastas, wraps, salads, and sandwiches and a coffee bar with all the fixin's. The above is all awesome, but I head in here for the bulk items. Have a small amount of a rarely-used spice needed for a recipe? CHECK. Want to grind some fresh almond butter or coffee? GOTCHA COVERED. Dried fruits? YUP! (dried papaya are my family fave). Variety of healthy granolas, grains, and baking items in bulk, too. There is easy parking with their own little lot, friendly service, a discount membership program ($25 per year), and a punch card discount when you use reusable bags. Can't wait to come back.

My cousin got the same and her husband got The Rachel I think, he said it was good but he's man of very few words, but he had it eaten before I had even eaten a few bites of mine so I assume that meant he really enjoyed it. The drinks were a really good fountain drinks which has been harder and harder to find. The only thing I wasn't blown away by was the sides, we had pasta salad, and Cole slaw and they were fine, nothing bad just wasn't really worth the extra calories. Overall I definitely recommend Red Brick Deli if you want a good sandwich.

I picked Red Brick when we traveled to Murphy because a review stated they had gluten-free wraps…read more Nope! That was the previous owner. Since I am gluten intolerant, options were slim. I chose the Chef Salad, no tomatoes. As you can see by the picture, this salad really needs the color of tomatoes, and is very bland without them. Also, in a deli, I was expecting sliced, rather than shaved, meats. I personally find shaved meats very unappetizing. But because I was hungry, and had ordered it, I ate the salad. I had a side of potato salad, too, which I found more to my liking. Hubby had the Cuban. The waitress said the bread is made locally. He found the sandwich to be adequate. We probably will try other restaurants in the area on future visits.

It's just a small counter at which you order, but don't let the minimal storefront fool you - the quality is excellent. I had the Ganesha Toast, i.e. toasted organic sourdough with house made whipped feta (yum!), cherry tomatoes, and topped with basil and a lavendar balsamic drizzle. Spouse got the Warrior Wrap, a wheat tortilla housing a cacophany of flavors that marry so well together - lime cilantro quinoa, black beans, roasted sweet potato, jalepenos (yes this wrap has a kick!), mixed greens, and a house made avocado sauce. Forgive my picture of the two on a paper plate (the veggie crisps came with the wrap). Not pictured but equally delish were my "Almond Joyous" smoothie, and "Energy" smoothies. By no means inexpensive but smoothies of this caliber (with such quality base ingredients) rarely are - you get what you pay for. These are worth the price of admission imho. They also have a plethora of juices, more smoothie choices, specials (on the board outside), acai bowls, salads, and some other toasts and wraps. Looks like they have a sister location in nearby Ellijay as well. Their mantra is food is medicine, and there is so much to that philosophy. Highly recommended.

When we walked in, we waited to be seated, we were standing close to the cash register and kitchen area. As we waited we listed to one of the staff complaining that wasn't a great sign. As we were being seated, we noticed all the cute decor! Someone took a lot of time to make the place look so cute! The waitress was super attentive! Hubby ordered the special, a Meatball sandwich and I ordered a salad with fried chicken tenders... I had to cheat a little bit. That Fried Chicken was calling my name! The food came out after a little bit of a wait. I completely understand because the chicken was fresh. But my poor hubby got a mess of a sandwich. It appears they made the sandwich and it sat while the chicken cooked. It was a soppy soggy mess. The bread was drenched and completely mush. He said the French Fries weren't much better. I asked him if he could eat just the meatballs and he picked up them each up with a fork and each and everyone of them were completely black on one side. Totally burned. Boy I felt bad because my chicken was delicious! This is the reason I added two stars. We went to pay, my husband leaving his hot mess in his plate. The owner was at the cash register, I found this out because she answered the phone while checking us out (stating her name was Julie). She was in such a mood, she was rude to the person on the phone placing an orderIn fact she was even rude to us, she scared the bjesus out of me....so we didn't say a word. I sure didn't want to complain and start an altercation . Hubby will never go back. He was not happy at all. I might go back, maybe with a friend and hope next time is better ‍ Possibly everyone was having a bad day? It was not crowded when we dined, as it was around 2:30pm. We thought this would be an asset, but we were wrong. Here is hoping it was an off day for them. Dine at your own risk my friends. Stay away from soggy sandwiches! Go for the fried chicken
