The atmosphere at Wade's RV Center is relaxed and fun! Little Wade even accepted a dance off challenge from my seven year old granddaughter. I was able to get more RV and save money!

I paid around $200 to have my trailer placed on consignment for several months. One of the first frustrations I had was that after dropping the trailer off, it took them over a month just to get it listed on their website. After several months on consignment, they were still unable to sell it, so I decided to pick it up and trade it in at Blue Compass RV instead. I called Wade's RV on Tuesday to let them know I would be picking the trailer up that Saturday so they would have plenty of notice. When I arrived Saturday, I had to wait while they moved several trailers out of the way just to get mine out. Once they finally pulled it out, we discovered the tongue jack no longer worked -- even though it was fully functional when I dropped the trailer off. Their solution was to tell me I could either pay for a new jack myself or file an insurance claim. I refused because the jack worked before they took possession of the trailer. They ultimately removed the broken jack entirely just so I could hook the trailer up to my truck and had to use a forklift to lift the trailer onto my hitch. Blue Compass then also had to use a forklift to remove the trailer from my truck as a result as well. There were multiple other issues as well: - A window valence that was supposed to be repaired under warranty was never fixed and was simply laying on the bed inside the trailer. - The scissor jack socket went missing while the trailer was in their possession. - When I asked about the missing socket, I was told "things get stolen out of trailers all the time." - They removed the coupler latch pin from the trailer and told me they do that with all the trailers so they can move them around the lot easier, but wouldn't give me one back when I left. Instead, they stuck a random bolt through the latch. - They also forgot to give me my license plate before I left with the trailer. The license plate issue turned into another frustrating experience. After realizing they still had it, I called Monday and was told a salesperson would bring it to me later that day since they would be near my area. That never happened. Tuesday I was told they would "try again." I explained that if they couldn't bring it Tuesday, they needed to mail it because I was leaving for a camping trip Friday and needed the plate by Thursday. Wednesday I followed up again and was told it had been left with the office manager to mail. When I asked if it had been overnighted, they told me it had not -- and that I could pay extra if I wanted overnight shipping. After already waiting multiple days for something they forgot to give me in the first place, I had to call the general manager to get the issue resolved. The only reason this entire situation didn't completely ruin my trade-in deal was because Blue Compass RV stepped up and covered the cost of a new tongue jack themselves and honored the trade agreement we had already negotiated. I can only assume my poor treatment came as a result of them being mad about missing out on the few thousand dollars they would've made if they sold my trailer. Overall, this experience showed me that Wade's RV does not take responsibility for customer property while it is in their possession. Between the broken equipment, missing parts, unfinished warranty work, poor communication, and the fact that it took over a month just to even list the trailer online after I dropped it off, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before doing any business with them.

The one we saw on the front lot was the model we wanted. We were told by Billy that he had the exact same one in the back that he could get ready for us quickly, since we were on a time crunch. He said he would sell it to us for $500 over invoice because they pride themselves on beating their competitors and providing the best service. We signed for it and drove off believing and being told it was all set for camping. We pull in to camp and rv antifreeze comes out of the faucet and furnace starts smoking. The latch on the trailer doesn't hold the door shut and it flies open while driving. The thermostat broke and we contacted the dealership about getting a new one. No one called us back. We called again the next day and again no phone call back, so we decided to go to the manufacturer in Elkhart on the way home. (They were amazing). On the drive I googled our trailer and found the ad on Xtreme's website and on rvtrader listed for $1500 less!!! I checked the stock number and the pictures- everything matched. We were told by the owner that the one we bought was a different model, but on their own website the stock number matched and price was listed. I sent him this info and even he did not respond. At the manufacturer we found out that the battery was exchanged and instead of being a AGM or lithium, they had put in a lead acid battery in a non-vented cabinet, despite manufacturers warning label to the contrary. I do appreciate them trying to accommodate us for our time crunch but if they couldn't ensure our safety and they switch out the product to a demo Model used in trade shows; that is bad business. The good 'ol boys are fakes. Go elsewhere and get your ROG.

They purchased this RV, new, from Hunter RV Center and have had nothing but problems with water leaks since they purchased it. They have had to fight with Hunter RV to have the repairs done. Coachmen RV and Hunter RV Center need to do the right thing and replace the RV and refund all out-of-cost expenses Laura and Keven have had to incur. Had it in their shop 3 times before they got it fixed. The fix? Rewiring the coach, cutting on a new vent in my cabinet for extra air flow. Took more that 2 months to get resolved hauling it back and forth to them. 2) Shower stall leaked water the first time we used it. On closer inspection, the bottom track was a 1/2 short on both sides allowing water to flow on the floor. Should have never left the factory that way. Solution? Had to get replacement tray from Coachman which took months to resolve for a simple part. 3) Bedroom slide quit going in by itself and had to be pushed to close appropriately. Solution? Bigger slide motor installed. 4) Closet rod collapsed destroying shelf above while going down the road. Solution? Redesign and reinforcement of closet rod, shelf, and additional bracing. 5) Black water valve quit working. Solution? Repaired valve. 6) Blackwater tank began leaking under the underbody panel while full. Solution? Replaced valve under coach. 7) Toilet fresh water fill leaked day one. Solution? Replaced valve. 8) Towel rod came loose from the wall as it wasn't installed in anything but the wallboard. Solution? Installed properly in backer. I could go on and on - we had cabinet doors sagging and come loose, drawer latches fail, curtains fall down due to bring improperly installed, a bed motor upgraded as it wouldnt properly move the bed, and a dinette slide that screeched so loud it sounded like it was going to fall out. All of this is an indictment of Coachmen quality and the lemon we received. All occurred in a 9 month period! So why bash Hunter? I never once got an apology for these problems. Not once. When I couldn't take anymore I asked Jim what they could do to make things right as I wasn't comfortable travelling with this unit. Their best offer? Sell on consignment and charge me a commission. This dealership makes a living selling inferior products and warranty work through their service department. Buyer beware - I've taken a $20K depreciation hit and moved to another RV and dealership.
