Passed through Parker on Sunday 1/04 11.40am. Chose to dine here after driving through Parker a bit and not seeing anything appealing. Extremely clean cafe, friendly and attentive staff. Quick food. Good portions. I love that the hash browns is not an overwhelming amount. The girls were quick to clear empty tables even sweeping the floor. This place is clean with great staff and great food. They have a 'small plates' portion of their menu which I found very helpful for those who do not want to gorge themselves with mounds of food. I will always choose to eat here for breakfast or brunch over anywhere else in Parker. The atmosphere is homely, the food is always delicious and staff is kind regardless if you're a local or out of town visitor. The prices are great and menu has a variety for everyone. We came in a party of 3 on a Sunday morning. They were not busy, had 4 servers/waitresses. Our drinks came out quickly but after about 13 minutes of not being acknowledged we walked out. Great service and food! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and directed to a table. They came to check on us a few times while we were looking at the menu and answered any questions we had. They were extremely on top of it! I had the two eggs scrambled with bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit without gravy. Everything tasted fantastic. Eggs were perfect, bacon was crisp, and hash browns were crisp as well. Biscuit was so yummy and I loved that they brought us honey and butter. Food was delivered quickly after we ordered as well. We stumbled onto this place while looking for a local cafe. It will definitely not be our last time to eat here when we are in the area. The service is prompt and friendly, prices are reasonable, the food is really good, and the portion sizes are generous. I ordered a chicken fried steak with hash browns, eggs, and a biscuit with gravy for breakfast. My order came on three plates because it was so large. We stopped in on our way home from Lake Havasu. We figured it would be good since all the cops in the region were eating there too. The coffee was good, but they don't have creamer however the offer milk. I ordered the spicy sausage and eggs breakfast and my friend ordered the mini chicken fried steak and eggs. I'll start with a positive.... the people were nice. I wouldn't feel right if I didn't put this information out though. Especially during Co-Vid times. There was a short haired lady "Donna" bussing tables. She would take the unused jelly packets off the dirty plates and put them in her pocket, then scrape the food off the plates in to the trash. In her defense she did a pick up a dirty rag off the counter and wipe her hands with it. Then she would take the previously plated jelly packet from her pocket and throw it back in their jelly stock, which was systematically placed on each top piece of toast to be served. But, that's not all then a customer came in with his dog and sat with his dog in the seat with him and his paws on the table, while petting his dog (Yep, dog hair floating in the air!). Then the short haired lady went to the trash and picked through it to find some scraps for the dog. After that, she went and poured a glass of milk and grabbed silverware to set the table for the next customers. She didn't wash her hands at all the whole time we were there nor did she use sanitizer. She would go bus more tables, serve drinks, grab lemons and put them in the drinks, pick up all unused jelly packets and return them to the stock supply, and just kept running this routine the whole time we were there. The really nice lady (Grandma) behind the register would take the money from the paying customer and make change, then turn around and butter the toast and you guessed it.... yep, grab a jelly packet and promptly put it on top of the toast. She would ring up the next customer and then grab the plates and run them to the tables. She never washed her hands or used sanitizer either. But, the people were really nice, they kept checking on us and made sure we had all we needed. We waited for our food and carefully picked through it and ate a little. After we paid the short haired lady had already promptly picked up our plates and was telling the man with the dog that some really nice people had ordered the chicken fried steak and had left quite a bit. She said she would cut the piece that wasn't touched and box it up to take home to her...not sure if "her" was his wife or his dog.... but either way, oh my! Keep in mind this lady dig through the trash, touched silverware, lemons, jelly packets, cups, apple juice container, milk carton, refrigerator door handles and served people as well. If this doesn't bother you then you should enjoy this family cafe'. read more

On our way home from the river, we stopped to get breakfast at this little spot. It's no taj mahal and looks exactly as you'd expect a random coffee shop in the desert to look with exactly the kinds of local characters you'd expect here. Minus a crazy guy who sells squirrels in the desert. I was hoping to see one of those guys. But really it's tourists and local old people when you walk in with the raspy voiced spark plug waitresses you'd expect. It's as if they were lifted out of a cliche tv show. The food isn't fancy or spectacular but you'll be full until you get to your next stop. They don't do things like egg whites and health doesn't seem very high on the list but they've got decent spicy sausage and eggs. And they've got a bottle of tapatio on the table. Do not use the restrooms. I found them to be diiiiiiiiirrrrrttttyyyy and to seriously reek. In fact, I wanted to scrub a lot of this place down. But they didn't poison me. read more

We stopped for lunch. I had the Chili beans husband had the pastrami sandwich, friend had Chinese chicken salad. The chili beans were embellished so it didn't taste like right out of the can. I had a waffle eggs and sausage place and he had the omelette with hash browns. we were very impressed by the quality of the food and perfectly cooked, despite the restaurant being full when we came in.
