    Look at all that bacon

Why a 5? Well I'd give a 5 for the service alone! Next, great selection there was something for all of us (party of 6). My bacon cheeseburger I swear there was like 8 slices of bacon on that big boy. Yes we will be back, yes every dish was good, and yes it's worth it.

I am still in awe of how phenomenal the food and customer service is at The Dock Restaurant! They spoil you with extras that aren't included. The homemade croutons are beyond words. We get chicken and vegetables. When we first ordered it, I had never idea of the delicious platter that awaited us. Seriously incredible and huge. You have to finish off the night with the homemade bread pudding. So delicious! The customer service is phenomenal but the views of the river... no words. If you are anywhere around The Dock, you need to go!

Great customer service at the Dock Restaurant, 5 Stars the whole time. The servers and the chef are amazing, very friendly and ensured my family and I got everything we wanted! The quality and quantity of food is amazing. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection with a great taste. Don't forget about deserts when you come here they're just as good as rest of their menu. I would definitely recommend this place!

Well let's just say I was truly impressed by this restaurant. We went in as a party of 6 all first timers of The Dock. Five of us had the Rib eye special & one had the fried shrimp, fish & chips. We all started off with a very large fresh garden salad, toasted garlic bread, a fully loaded baked potato & grilled zucchini then came the 10 oz. steak (which looked more like a 16 oz.) perfectly cooked & seasoned. Everything was delicious the owner Larry was attentive & made the whole experience feel like you were at a 5 star steakhouse. We will definitely be back & I highly recommend to others.

Just tried the dock restaurant for the first time but it certainly won't be the last. I had a patty melt and fries. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable. You can reach this restaurant by Road or river, The scenery is amazing. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

Do not believe the prices you see on websites. The prices are very high. $20 appetizers and $50 steaks. Not impressed.

An older songtress was at the mic, crooning a sorrowful "Send in the Clowns" as we shuffled to our seats, some of us with a little extra boogie behind each step. I scanned the place and noticed there weren't any karaoke song/title books strewn about... we found out through our friendly waitress that you just tell the Karaoke Master the name of your song and you're good to go. 'Modern,' I thought to myself. I racked my brain for the perfect song for such a perfect place. Piano Man? The crowd did look pretty good for a Saturday. Sweet Caroline? Jesse's Girl? I didn't know. Brian suggested "Friends in Low Places" and we were off to the races. I put both my name and Brian's in for the song. 'It was going to be a duet,' I thought. Good. While we were waiting to entertain the crowd with our vocal talents, we ordered dinner and drinks. Everything was amazing, by the way. Finally, the time had come. The Karaoke Master announced our names, "Chris and Brian, you're up!" I gulped and tugged at my collar. I said to Brian, "Well, here goes nothing." He looked at me and said, "let's rock this place." His fist bumped mine. We both got out of our chairs and headed to the stage. I grabbed the mic, pulled it in close. The microphone smelled like beer. 'Damn,' I thought. 'We should've gone with Piano Man.' No matter, the show must go on. The screen said "Friends in Low Places" is sung in the key of A major, but I ignored it because I did not know what that meant. "Blame it on my roots," we sang. "I showed up in boots," we continued. By the time we got to the chorus, the crowd was up on its feet, the excitement palpable. The locals had started a line dance during the second verse and people were fighting to get to the dance floor. I can't remember if there was disco ball going at some point, but it *felt* like there was, you know? Our collective vocal modulations continued throughout the song, each verse getting somehow better, as if each of us was singing back-up to each other's lead vocals, hearts beating in unison, too. We won over the Big River crowd at Dumas Walkers that night. As Brian and I finished to what felt like thunderous applause, we headed back to our seats, hands clapping our backs, when I heard one patron whisper, "I'd hate to follow that." High praise, it felt good. "Chris, you're up!" the Karaoke Master announced. 'An encore,' I thought. 'Nice.' We stayed for dessert.

There was only one server, Josh, running the entire front of the house by himself. Apparently this is customary on Wednesdays. Before he could seat us, he had to clear off a table. Several tables were just in disarray and when people came in, this poor man had to scramble to clean something off. I went to the bathroom and one stall had absolutely no toilet paper or covers. And one dispenser had no soap. The bathroom was just yucky. When I came back, we still didn't have menus or drinks. When our food came, we asked for condiments that took too long that we ended up taking them from another table. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The cook gave me a stale biscuit that just ruined my meal. I couldn't eat it or ask for it to be remade because Josh was too busy to check in on us or refill our drinks. I told him when he came to pick up the plates. He apologized, but he didn't remove it from the check. I paid $10 for a meal I couldn't eat. We got a piece of pie and the taste was kind of weird...like it had been freezer burned and then defrosted. The whole experience was disappointing.
