I was kinda disappointed in this place.. I was expecting a lot more creativity in the menu. When I say that I mean the salads were mostly quite basic.. Greek, Caesar etc.. Also who puts balsamic on Greek? I was expecting to see more dishes that incorporate healthy staples like brown rice, Quinoa, kale, broccoli, or hummus.. maybe tofu or just something different.. The menu is basically pizza, sandwiches, burgers and salads, which are great but there's literally so many other places that do all those things but better nearby. This place used to be really awesome, back when it was Pizza Fusion. They had amazing pizzas and salads, with great gluten-free and vegan options. My husband and I loved eating here, and did so frequently. It is now Earth Bistro, and it is now only a sad ghost of what it once was. Everytime we go, we're disappointed at how much the menu has changed and how bad things have gotten. Today my husband ordered an artichoke pizza for takeout as a special treat, and when we looked at it we wondered what had become of our favorite restaurant. It looked nothing like the fresh, delicious pizzas I'd come to expect. The garlic was massive, but there was probably a single piece of artichoke on the entire thing. He asked them for extra parmesan, but instead of the fresh cheese they used to serve he got that salty stuff that looks like dandruff. The pizza tasted even more lackluster than it looked. I've been here twice first time the food was ok and service was less than stellar. The second time we came on a Sunday. The posted hour of opening was 10:30 hover when we went to open the door at 10:35 it was locked. A girl was inside but we had to knock to get her to come to the door. upon her arrival she rudely told us that today she was going to open until 11:30 because she had to clean. Ok fine good to hear your keeping your business clean however a sign would have been nice. We waited 15 minutes for the door to open and was turned away. It was definitely a let down going here. Upon entering, the 3 girls behind the counter didn't acknowledge us and kept talking, I finally had to ask if we just sat ourselves. The food took a long time, and it didn't help that the person who was preparing it all was busy talking to her friends who kept coming in and setting up camp in front of the prep area. I'll never eat here again. It was an overall miserable experience and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Went there for lunch, dining room was near empty. Ordered the pear & feta salad, Arnold Palmer and a personal sausage & pepper pizza. Salad came out right away and was tasty but nothing special. About 20 minutes later the pizza showed up and it was the wrong pizza. Server was nice when we told her it was the wrong pizza. She apologized and said the right pizza would be out momentarily. 35 minutes later, she cleared our salad plates and asked if we'd like the check, our pizza had still not arrived. By this time we didn't want it any more and just wanted out of the hot, stuffy dining room. 15 minutes later we still had not received the check or the pizza. I went up to the register to pay and while our check was being adjusted for the missing pizza, another server came up to us with the pizza and asked if we'd like it boxed. Epic fail! I wish I could have given this place no stars. To begin, the service was sketchy. Long wait to be seated - no silverware or napkins until we asked after our food arrived. It took a long time before we were even offered water after being seated. The food was even worse. My son had the kids cheese pizza, my wife a gluten free pizza, and I ordered the chicken wings, chicken melt sandwich, and a side of garlic potatoes. Everything was bland. Under seasoned. The cheese had a strange texture. The food wasn't even hot. Half the potatoes were raw, the other half soggy. I even got a piece of bone in my boneless Chicken sandwich. I have been to other organic/natural type restaurants. I went to one yesterday in fact. And the food there was excellent. MMMM not a fan. I was in the area and decided to grab a bite around lunch time on a weekday. The restaurant was empty. Interesting art on the walls, but the staff was not at all welcoming. Definitely gave the impression that they hate their jobs and don't really like customers too much either. Service was remarkably slow considering there were 3 staff members and only 1 guest in the building. Food seemed overpriced (it really was just a small sandwich on a plate- no snacks or garnishes, nothing) and the bread tasted absolutely awful and had a very unpleasant texture.I found that remarkable considering this place is supposed to make good pizzas with their own dough. Anyway Wally got the flatbread and dip trio... marinara, olive tapenade, and garlic olive oil. YUMMY. I got the Farmer's Market pizza... many much vegetables, delicious. Carrie got the pepperoni pizza, which was pretty much like pepperoni pizza lol. Bryanth got the sausage and tricolor pepper, pretty good too. This is fused organic pizza. The selection is varied and offers something that everyone can eat. I tried the bruscetta, the founders market and the artichoke and garlic pizzas. Some have said the pizza bland. It does depend on the style. I complement this location for actually using the topings to serve as flavor. Whole chunks of garlic, meaty portions of chicken, sprinkled gorgonzola cheese to add salt and kalamata olives to also add that desired salty sensation. This is not full on gourmet pizza. It is not pretentious, over seasoned, overdone pizza. This is more of a creative, quality approach to home style pizza with high quality ingredients. I have an agile tongue, i could taste the free range chicken. It tends to have less flavor and more bite. Even the garlic, sweetly roasted, packed a delicate and pungent flavor. This is good pizza. If you think its bland, open up a packet of Top Ramen seasoning and go crazy. But take my advice, eat, be merry and taste something a bit more real. read more

Meh. It's not great but not terrible. Food was just OK. Service was OK albeit somewhat slow and inattentive. My critque mostly addresses employees and the message they send. Three off-the-clock employees were taking 3 of 5 seats at the bar just "hangin' out". Customers get the wrong message-are you working or just ignoring us? Are you not working but still going back and forth to the kitchen to feed yourselves? Look I'm a relaced hippie type but that just bugs me. If I was the owner or manager I'd say "stick around after you work if you like, but take off your uniform and don't run back and fprth to the kitchen. If you're here in your uniform, you're working" I think another employee agreed because on my way out I heard her I rally the 3 slackers to clock in for 10 minutes and make themselves useful since they were there. I went to Earth Bistro for the first time today with my wife as it advertises fresh, healthy, organic food. Upon entering, I felt like Earth Bistro was 50% into an identify crisis. I understand that it was going after the coffee shop feel, but it fell short in the starkness of the dining area. Service was average as the staff seemed like they were their out of necessity and not because they enjoyed working there. The service also was slow when there was hardly anyone other patrons there. At first, my wife ordered some mushrooms which I throughly enjoyed! I thought that maybe I was being a bit over critical in my mind of my overall experience and that the food was going to be awesome. I then received my entree' which was an organic chicken sandwich with marinara sauce on focaccia. The chicken was dry and cold along with the sauce. My wife introduced me to this wonderful little bistro located near Trader Joe's. You probably won't see it right off the street on Winchester, but it's worth visiting next time you are near Trader Joe's. If you are on a GF diet or are a Vegan you will love this place. Personally I am not a vegan, or eat on a gluten free diet but just loved the quality of the food here. Everything is prepared from scratch. The soup, breads, pizza's etc are all prepared fresh. The Coffee is amazing and organic, not that I need organic, but you can definitely taste the difference! My wife had the Veggie Grill sandwich and she just loved it. She wanted GF bread and it's the same ingredients as their GF Pizza doe. She just loved it! which is saying a lot because she is very particular about her food. I had the Chicken melt and it was also very good. It''s prepared Italian style with melted mozzarella with marinara sauce on a very good home made bread. Our server Clhoe was first class, gave us wonderful service with a great smile and attitude, my coffee and my wife's tea was never empty and they gave free refills! The service made it a 5 star visit. It is a bistro so the seating is more sandwich shop style than fancy, but was very comfortable. The one who took our order had untrimmed and uncovered goatee. It made me worry that one of his hair will fall off in my food! I was excited to find a vegetarian friendly place to eat and decided to take my little sisters and their friends out to eat after our mall trip on Friday. The service was awful! Never have I been more ignored at a restaurant. They took forever just to give us a menu. Took even longer to come get our order (including drinks). The food was ok but I expected more. We made it very clear that we needed napkins and utensils when a waitress passed by and we were ignored, not once asked how we were doing or if we needed anything throughout our meal. My sister and her friend had to get up to get their own utensils and napkins! They gave us the wrong bill and almost got over charged by it, I was with 2 little girls and a teenager, and I myself don't even look 20 so clearly it is not probable that we would have a bill with 2 beers! We asked for to boxes to go and they only have us one. When I asked for extra ketchup they seemed a little mad about it. Overall I was really disappointed! I get better quality vegetarian friendly, organic food and better service in my college town in Santa Barbara, and being somewhere as nice as Temecula and getting this awful service and ok food was a total let down. They're close and offer cheap delivery (thankfully, because their parking lot is insane). they're definitely good for and quick and easy organic meal-- which is what we're usually looking for if we get take-out. sadly, they're food is incredibly inconsistent and we never know what we're going to get. also, beware of online ordering-- they don't seem to look if you order (and pay) for extras. kinda lame... i recommend them for what they are, expensive but easy. they're pizzas are generally pretty good but, like i said, inconsistent. if you don't mind paying extra for organic and sustainable, it's (relatively) worth it. read more

Got the Tomato and Mots Salad which comes with lettuce, tomato, basil, mozzarella, chicken, and croutons. I've started to feel like I've run out of new & interesting places to try in Temecula. I felt like eating healthy and fresh, which is easy to do in san Diego, so Ive been dying to find a place around here. When I yelped healthy, organic & tasty in Temecula I found Pizza Fusion. I stopped into this strip-mall restaurant the other day; the decor wasn't anything special. They had a open prep area, taps, cashier as well as a few bars seats with a smaller flat screen TV in the same area and then some scattered tables/chairs. There was only two other parties in the restaurant, one which I believe was the owner & his family since the kids kept running to the back of the kitchen (totally unsanitarty), but what seemed to be a lot of staff members. We ordered the regular size pear & gorgonzola salad, the three bean soup and the personal farmers market pizza. Although the lettuce and the pear were both crisp, the salad was tasteless and the dressing (we tried both the balsamic and raspberry vinegrettes) was awful. The soup was supposed to be three-bean, but I think there was one bean total and it technically should have been carrot soup, since that appeared to be the main ingredient. The saving grace of this restaurant was the Farmer's Market pizza on multigrain flatbread; it was sooo tasty! I also like the fact that there was fresh parmesan cheese, not the typical stuff in the shaker. Since Im not a big pizza fan, I doubt I'll be back that often, especially since their salad and soup were kind of a let down. Amazing vegan pizza! I was so pissed off that my local Pizza Fusion in San Diego closed down! So I am pretty much a vegetarian, and I try to eat very little gluten for the pure sake of having a healthier diet. When I am in Temecula, Pizza Fusion is a great choice, as they have a delicious pizza that is vegan and gluten free. The cheese is soy based, and very good. You can create your own with a wide choice of vegetables. I like to add fresh basil, tomato, artichoke hearts, fresh garlic, eggplant and spinach to mine. Sometimes I also get the "fake meat" that, like the cheese, is also soy based. It is AMAZING, and very healthy. Pizza is normally so fattening, greasy, and gross. But thanks to Pizza Fusion you get a very tasty pizza with a fraction of the calories. They also have sandwiches and wraps for those in your group who don't fancy a pizza. I also like this company's business model, and their dedication to the environment. They educated the public about greener options, they have lobbied for greener political action, they support organic farming, and all of their vendors and suppliers they partner with are also eco-friendly and green. I really hope another Pizza Fusion opens up in San Diego again, and soon! read more

Everything is organic with gluten-free or vegan options. Did I mention the acai draft beer goes great with their chocolate mousse dessert? The buns are made in-house served almost as crispy as a panini. Ambiance is encompassing for friends, family, and kids. Great music and attentive, friendly and professional staff. Service. The service sucks here. I'm not going to front and I don't think I'm coming out of pocket when I say it SUCKS. So to the owner of this establishment I have to say that if you want people to come back, you need to retrain your staff. A salad and a hamburger shouldn't take a half hour. Then, wait an additional 15 minutes for wings when there's only about 5 people including us in the dining area. Our server was sweet, but it made her look bad when the kitchen staff is goofing off and checking their cell phones. Granted that the food once it arrived was good, I could go across to Bushfire Grill (albeit pay a bit more) and get better service. Great service + great food = you have a customer for life. After purchasing a groupon for two personal specialty pizzas and two craft beers for Earth Bistro, my boyfriend and I ate here on 5.16.14. The first thing that we encountered while walking into the eatery was the wait-staff arm wrestling, yes ARM WRESTLING, behind the counter. They were sitting playing their game before they even acknowledged that we had walked in. The "hostess" was not very friendly and told us we could sit anywhere we wanted. There were about seven people there at the time and there was only ONE waitress who seemed to be very overwhelmed with her tables, while the rest of the staff were playing with kids, talking, flirting and overall seemed to be just messing around behind the bar. Someone should have helped our waitress with tables. We arrived at 8:15 and weren't served until 9:04pm. The beer we ordered, although on tap, was watered down and had no head on it. Although the pizza was good, the service was very disappointing. The wait-staff was immature and inattentive. Its a shame too, because I love the idea of healthy vegetarian pizza.
