The last time I was there, I got the B.L.A.T - bacon, lettuce, avocado, and turkey on ciabatta bread. Everything was fresh and tasty. The only thing is the bread was a bit much for me. I'm not complaining. I just think I would have liked it better on a thinner slice of bread. The inside dining area is not that big, with smaller tables. So it's not good for a big group. All the food is great here! But my favorite had always been the OG Brooklyn Girl which they may not serve anymore... Wouldn't mind trying the breakfast pizza... Busy place so get there early. Service is cool, not much to it. Counter service... Ambiance one would argue is "cramped" but they started out as a tiny storefront next to Salvation Army on Jefferson decades ago so... can't complain! read more

I made two trips to Temecula in the past month and made a point to check it out based on reviews and the menu. I arrived on the Friday before Easter and the place was packed and the lines were long, so it took a lot longer to order and get food than expected. I had the chicken salad Sammy, and it was delicious! It was served with a small side salad that had a yummy dressing. I'm a big eater and could have eaten a second sandwich as I was still hungry. They have a great selection of coffee and pastries that looked delicious. The coffee was so good that I ended up buying a bag of beans to take home. No photos of the Sammy as I was so hungry that I forgot to snap a pic. Parking looked challenging, but I was lucky to score a spot out front. I'd definitely return. read more

We stopped in to EAT Marketplace for our first visit on a recent Sunday shortly before their 2pm closing. The layout was a bit confusing - there wasn't clear direction on where to order drinks vs. food. I initially went to the coffee counter (where there were no prices listed) but didn't see a food menu so we wandered back to another register to find menus and order. They were out of several specials, so we decided to share a breakfast pizza and I ordered a café mocha with coconut milk. Inside was loud and echoey with limited seating other than long communal table, so we sat outside. The breakfast pizza arrived first. The crust and toppings were good, but one of the two eggs atop the pizza was overcooked with a fully set yolk. My mocha took longer and while pretty, it arrived only lukewarm. We also didn't receive plates or utensils initially, though a server quickly brought them and offered to remake the drink. Unfortunately, they were out of coconut milk, so I switched to oat milk. The replacement was slightly warmer but had an unpleasant tangy flavor, as if the oat milk had turned bad. By that point, we were nearly done eating and they were closing up, so I didn't ask for another remake. It was frustrating to spend $8.50 on a drink that never quite came together, and $22 for a pizza that felt just average. Overall, not the best first impression, which was disappointing. read more

Coffee = good! Food = not so much I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, it was good but expensive, $7. I got the special, shortrib eggs Benedict. It didn't feel special. Usually eggs Benedict comes with English muffins, poached eggs with hollandaise sauce but the eggs on mine were over hard. Dish also did not have English muffins. For $24 you'd think they'd be able to properly poach the eggs. Ambiance was nice but it was strange to not have a server and have to order at the counter. 3.5 stars. Service slow but we were a large party. Not many options for low carb or low sugar. Most in our party enjoyed their meals. My "Frenchie" was swimming in syrup, I couldn't taste any of the blueberries as the syrup smothered the flavor. I doubt I'll be back but if you're considering the Frenchie maybe get the syrup on the side. Cash not accepted here, folks, even for one cup of regular coffee at $5, must use card. read more

For a place that highlights clean eating and positivity, the staff is lacking that in their attitude. The girl helping us was impatient and curt (maybe tired), and made us feel like a bother than a welcome customer. We were also charged prices higher than what was published - perhaps they've updated it but not on their menu? I'm not sure my $8 chai tea latte was anything special tbh. My girlfriends and I stopped by here for lunch before heading back home. One of my friends has a daughter that is GF so this place has so many great options. Even the desserts!! There was plenty of room and all the staff was very friendly and patient. We got a few sandwiches and the pasta salad to share. Everything was so good and you can really taste the quality in their ingredients. My friend got a loaf of bread to take home as well. The desserts all looked great as well but we were just too full to taste it. Loved they had a parking lot too so it was easy to park! Family of four with allergies here. This was the best place we went to while in town. It's spacious inside and the tables are laid out so it doesn't feel cramped. The food is high-quality and delicious. We got everything from pancakes, bacon, eggs, coffee, and some of the pastries from the counter. Everything is clearly labeled if it is gluten free, paleo, or grain free. I asked a ton of questions as someone with family allergies does and they were all met with a smile and clear, confident information. Got to say it was a tad disappointing because that pillowyness wasn't there. The flavors were on point but the texture was lacking. Could just be that vegan donuts just aren't there yet lol. Came in for my birthday, went in with high hopes because I saw gluten-free, but man, this place is a cluster. The workers seem extremely stressed, the system is extremely confusing, and the chef station seems like it's in absolute chaos. I saw 2 burnt plates come out from the chef station. while I was waiting in line to order. When we arrived, there was no attendant so we figured we walk in. Upon walking in there are two stations, a coffee pastry station and a meal station where you place your orders. We thought we were supposed to place our orders there but were greeted by the hostess who seemed upset that we walked inside and she told us to go back outside and she would come to us when she was done with another party. After she got us, she sat us down at a dirty table, and told us if we want to order we need to go inside and stand in line to place our food orders and then they will bring it out to us. When we walked inside to order, one of the workers took our table number and when we went to order we couldn't order because our number was missing. We had to go get a whole new number and bring it back to the table ourselves. Our drinks came out 30 minutes after we ordered them and the food line was so long that we decided we would go somewhere else. On walking out we asked for lids for our drinks which were spilling everywhere because they were poured to very top, and they had no lids... Only food I tried was a gluten free donut which was good and a latte which was a typical latte. In short, this place sucks. The workers are all stressed out and in bad moods, the customer service is awful, the system is terrible, and the overall experience is just straight up bad. I won't be back. They the head chef has a very hard time accommodating.. however if you are restriction free the food is good, the coffee was good, and the cashier was nice he helped us find the one thing on the menu we could each eat. Originally I wanted the ABC which has bacon (I can't do pork for religious reasons and I asked for sub with turkey instead and that wasn't possible) my husband has a potato allergy and asked to sub for fruit and that was an up-charge. When I lived in the area I would come here just for the donuts! I'm gluten free because of allergies (and Vegan) and there's not too much in the area to accommodate for dietary restrictions but what the surrounding area lacks this place absolutely makes up for. I've asked them to make the vegan burritos into bowls and they're always happy to so I've found they're always amazingly accommodating for any dietary needs. They also have plenty of other items that are gluten free I just love a breakfast bowl! These were and still are my staple donuts. Any time I end up back in the area I make sure to stop in for the donuts. I love that they change based on the season, the funnel cake, the apple cider donuts are just my favorites and I love that there's always new ones to try out. If I ever needed to do brunch in the area this spot is always amazing for that as well! Always many options for me for my dietary needs and a great place to bring people! I've also ordered ahead and gotten their breakfast sandwich and the experience was super easy! I've always loved everything I've gotten from the breakfast items to the pastries! Everyone is always super nice whether I'm stopping in just to pick up coffee and pastries or coming for breakfast. We purchased two regular brewed coffees to go and the total was over $16. They weren't lattes, Frappuccinos, or any specialty drinks--just plain brewed coffee. That price was shocking, especially since there were no prices posted anywhere to let customers know what to expect. To make matters worse, the cups didn't even have the shop's logo or branding. We later noticed the coffee at the neighboring farmers market was less expensive, and even Starbucks charges less for many of its specialty drinks. Beware!!!!! The price on the menu for the Ecoculture was not reflected accurately on the receipt. The menu said $17.50 and I was charged $20. When I confronted the cashier she said it was because of the egg up charge. No where on the menu does it say there is an egg up charge, nor did they mention it when I ordered. The menu item comes with eggs so I am not sure why I was charged extra for it. Other than that, the place was welcoming and offers a variety of fresh menu items. I've passed by several times and always wanted to try it. I came for breakfast and ordered the Almond Butter Pancakes, Ecoculture, So. Cal Girl, Lavender mimosa, and Vanilla Iced Latte. The food was delicious. The mimosa was ok and the latte was not good - watery and milky. I highly recommend the pancakes but I will not be retuning as I felt misled and charged unfairly. read more

My first time there. My sister and I wanted to check it out since it is a healthier restaurant. We both ordered the Cobb salad which was both beautiful and delicious. We also both ordered the chai tea which was delicious! Staff super friendly! I read that people made comments on prices. I'm used to paying more for organic or healthier options so I really didn't pay attention. We wanted to go back one more time before leaving the area, but we didn't get to unfortunately. Today, my dear friend Carl and I went to EAT in Temecula for breakfast after shopping at the Temecula market. I had "Ecoculture" which is Farm fresh eggs, roasted potatoes, veggies & avocado with sourdough bread. Carl had the Old School Burrito. These are not typical restaurant dishes. These dishes are made with high quality ingredients and are prepared and seasoned to perfection. I noticed and enjoyed every bite of every item in my plate. I also had a decaf latte with almond milk which was yummy! It is not easy to find decaf worth mentioning. The staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is cheerful and welcoming.
