The service was great, the staff was friendly to be sure. the experience fell flat at the meal itself, they asked if I had any allergies or if I didn't eat meat. I told the kind lady no, she recommend the "meat and potatoes guy" a beef burger with potatoes on the side. seemed simple enough red meat and some starch is hard to get wrong, but they did. I cant complain about the taste considering there was none. They are quick to declare about their food being gluten free, maybe gluten is Latin for flavor. This place has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff but the food lacked any appealing quality. I wasn't disgusted by the food, just confused how they managed to cook any form of flavor out of the food. I have always wanted to try this place and after today I regret that I did. For one they don't have highchairs, if they do have them hiding somewhere, I was never offered one. But I can manage without one when I need to. My server treated me as if I was an inconvenience to him. He got my order and never asked what I would like to drink. When I finally asked for water he basically just walked off and mumbled, sure. My baby was a little wiggle worm so I stood up with him to keep him entertained by watching the cars drive by through the window. I asked for a box and I have no idea how long I continued waiting when I didn't need to because he placed the box and check on a table next to mine with was behind my back at the time. I placed my card in the checkbook to pay, stood it up in plain sight and waited. By this time someone else came in who had his full attention so I took my check to the front. I asked who I could speak with and was told my server was actually the owner. Really?! So I told him I felt uncomfortable and that I was treated as an inconvenience. He just continued to make me feel unwelcome. But here is the scary part. I did some grocery shopping after I left. As I was about to load my groceries into my car, he shows up with a very intimidating look on his face. He asks me if anyone at the store asked me if I needed help and they actually ask me EVERY time I shop there. Then he sarcastically asked me if I needed help. I said no but before I could really even answer he was already walking away. I was over the whole situation when I walked out of his restaurant and decided I would just never go back but now I am almost afraid to even be near that entire area. We love this place! I'm a little shocked at some of the low reviews as we frequent about once per week and have not experienced any of the things some reviewers complained about. Staff is very friendly and attentive to special dietary needs. Atmosphere is relaxed and the place is clean. Food is excellent and so nice to have a place in town that uses non- GMO organic ingredients. I usually get a vegan pizza with Diaya cheese which is awesome. Husband gets the "real" cheese and loves it. Their hummus and spinach and artichoke dip is also delicious. We've never had a bad meal. Definitely recommend. read more

Well, a couple of years ago when this place opened under Pizza Fusion I had the best roasted beet salad EVER! Went back maybe a year later and the beet salad was terrible! Since this place is opened under a new name I thought I'd give it another chance. First off, the best thing in the whole place was a picture on the back wall that I want to know where they got it from because it would be perfect for above my fireplace. : ) Second, I got regular ice tea and it tasted really old and gross. So I asked for one of their natural sodas. I got regular cola and it wasn't bad. It was better when I used it to swish my pizza down. For some reason there is nothing better than coke and pizza. That's just my opinion. I got a pizza called "Vegan" with whole wheat crust but had it made with real cheese because I'm not vegan. The toppings are what got me to order this particular pizza. It was good, not what I expected. The crust is super thin and crunchy. I liked the crunchy part, not the thin part. The sauce could have used more flavor and if it weren't for the roasted garlic on my pizza I think the whole thing would have been bland. I think, no I know I could make better pizza at home. Third, the service is just whatever. It's not bad, but not the best. My co-workers who are vegan and gluten free liked their food. They actually want to go back. But I always tease them that if I were vegan and desperate I might like it too. I'll never go vegan. Everything in moderation is my philosophy. But, I do think Temecula could benefit from a really good organic, vegan, gluten free, vegetarian urban upscale restaurant. Since Old Town is trying to copy a metropolitan type atmosphere, maybe something there would be perfect. The best thing I had there today were my bosses garlic fries that I picked off his plate. This place has outstanding food quality! Service has always been prompt and informative. I've been frequenting both Pizza Fusion locations (Hillcrest/Murrieta) for about a year now and I've dined there at least 8 times. They're menu has improved greatly since the first time I went. They have added more organic ingredients and better dessert options. I honestly have no complaints about them. My new favorite pizza there is a Cheese pizza made with BBQ sauce and pineapple. Ive seen this place several times going into trader joes. I decided to eat there today and customer service was horrible and food was decent. It took prob 45 mins for a side salad and small burger.. The maybe said two words to me th entire time. If you expect any level of service do not go here. Th girl helping me was really nice and seemed to be the only one working while 5 other people stood around and made the environment awkward. If the owner is pro-active they would fix this problem immediately cant imagine how many customers they lost. I brought my 8-year-old niece and my 9-year-old nephew to this place, with an inkling that even though it's healthy, since it's pizza, they would eat it. I was pretty much right. Kudos on giving the kids some bendy sculpture toy thingies to keep them occupied. It kept them occupied the entire time! Aaaand they ate their pizza! The kids have really simple palates, as most kids do at that age, so we got them a regular cheese with sausage, which they enjoyed. My cousins got a BBQ chicken pizza, and my boyfriend and I shared a Fusion Salad and a the Very Vegan pizza with broccoli added. I thought ours was really great. Their iced tea is really delicious, and their service is great. I really love their environmentally friendly and healthy mission statement, and I will continue to support this place every time I come out to Temecula. My gluten-free husband and I wandered in last night and LOVED the GF crust on our Farmer's Garden pizza. The pizza was laden with zucchini, portobello mushrooms, red onion and artichoke hearts...all spread out on the best crust anywhere, hands down! It even beats regular white flour pizza crust - no kidding! Our waitress, Melissa, was helpful and friendly, and we were happy to see other customers enjoying their delicious meals too. Food is tasty and fresh, service sucks. The place only has 10 tables, so you'll be waiting awhile if you come on a Friday night like we did. They don't take reservations. There's a sign that reads "seat yourself at a clean table." Unfortunately, no one cleans the tables when people leave. They don't even remove the silverware/ plates. We watched customers seat themselves at dirty tables that had been that way for 45 mins! They had 2 servers and a 3rd runner guy for 10 tables. Still, we had to wait 10 mins before anyone came to our table. We ordered 2 appetizers and the server brought them 7 mins apart without mention. My soda sat empty for 20 mins before the waitress refilled (I had to ask). We asked for to-go lids for our dipping sauces and never got them. The people sitting next to us left and we had to sit next to their un-bussed, un-touched dirty table for our entire meal (45 mins)! I ordered the spinach artichoke pizza, which tasted good but came topped with a large chunk of black char. I uploaded a pic of the char, I was so shocked. I have a feeling that the owners are stoner hippies, which would be cool if their absent mindedness didn't carry over into their business. I was told the burgers are HUGE and delish, but to my dismay, it wasn't as i pictured. the burger i ordered was the Italian Mob- 100% fresh beef burger, sundried tomatoes, red onions, artichokes, mozzarella, and pesto spread. The patty was quite small, it should cover at least 99% of the bun, but it didn't so that disappointed me a lil. The bun looked good but it was hard, i think i waited too long to eat it. The burger tasted ok, but i've had better. I agree that everything here is fresh because it took about 15 mins to make. I added a side salad for $2.50, not really worth the $$, it was more like a $.99 salad. i paid about $10 for my meal and it only tasted like a $5 meal. One thing I would say as a negative is the meatball sliders look nothing like the picture on the table.
