This place has such a great vibe. It's a great place to go, hang out, pick up some gear, some…read morenutrition, and expert advice. Then it doubles as a post-ride patio with food, coffee, beer, and good vibes. What's not to love? I try to get up there a couple of times a year from Atlanta. The trails are great, but not enough to make the drive worth it, but you add the community at The Hub, and it's totally worth it. Thank you to the team there and all you do to help mountain bikers, even beginners like me, feel like they have a home in Pisgah/Brevard.

Tricky thing - The Hub, where my family and I have been avid community supporters for a decade,…read more*blocked me* from commenting on their social media channels. Why? After... how many purchased bikes? Lots of bike parts. Rentals. Service. Soooo many beers. Well, I was being honest. Sharing verifiable content about a tale as old as time. It goes as follows: Someone ImPoRtAnT buys a small business in a small town. Someone wants sales and profits. Someone obliterates the very thing that made the business remotely profitable, thereby destroying cultural profitability, and leaning oh-so-heavily on tourism. And, thus, a small business (that still had profitable potential without losing its small business, local status) fires or loses its longtime employees - Those with relationships in the community. Homes. Families. Speciality knowledge in an industry. And, everyone who used to go to "the hub" as an actual hub of likeminded community members... stop going. All their friends are gone. All the beer prices went up. New people are kind of irksome and a little shifty. But, wait. It gets better. Then, they silence those community members (me) who call them out on it on social media. Don't worry, I got a personal phone call from an 843 number. Someone telling me they were blocking my comments. Thanks. So, you. Human. If you're thinking of going to The Hub because you heard it was the place to go? It is not. It was. It is no longer. It died a corporate death. The Hub: You think you can silence community members? Is my female voice too shrill? Am I making too much noise? Good. Block me. Block all of us. Keep us quiet so you can pay influencers on social media to show how cool it is there. Like an REI by the forest. E-bikes and all. Not a local in sight. Reputation management is not silencing your initial core audience group, one by one. But, by all means, give it a try. I'll watch.

Went for a ride after the skills and he knew the trails needed to practice the skills. Day 2 took a guided tour lead by Will, again an excellent part of the Bike Farm team, took us out to DuPont and shows us some amazing trails, even had chocolate chip cookies after the ride. I highly recommend The Bike Farm for all levels of riders. Thanks JP

Escaped to the mountains from Florida, work and all the crazy of the world for a few days…read more... to find The Bike Farm and we couldn't be happier. Guided Rides - Our guide Josh managed to make it all work perfect; for a mom who is truly a mountain biking beginner, the dad who seems to be able to handle anything and the son who really enjoys a challenge. My point is, they happily accommodate all skills levels. Rental Bike options - it's only first class here with beautifully equipped new Yeti bikes, you will leave wanting one of these babies for sure! Plenty of choices for all rider types/sizes/etc... Location - The Bike Farm is easy to find just outside Asheville proper then a short trip to unbelievable trail options. Your guide will discuss what you want to do, then plan the route accordingly. We originally chose one day then added a second because we just couldn't get enough. If we could have stayed longer, we definitely would have. We took this trip to have an escape and enjoy the outdoors and couldn't be happier that we chose The Bike Farm. When we return to NC, without a doubt we will book again.
