I was racially profiled at this company. If you are African American please do not apply. They place you in the store and expect you to not saying anything to the white employees because they will call and say you are treating them poorly. But they don't investigate to even see if it's true. I got hired on and the ASM which was white immediately had an attitude with me. I told her that her issue had nothing to do with me but think we could be a great team. She yelled and slammed the door in my face. The new store manager right. I asked her to take the rest of the day. She was not terminated. But I was terminated because I asked the employees to greet customers. Do not sit on back counter and keep it clean. They tried to use my approach. I had no approach anytime I asked anyone to do what they were supposed to be doing they got upset and called HR. HR and the area manager lied and said they talked to everyone due to the white people (2 girls) called stating I was stern. They only listened to those 2 and never reached out to anyone else. I was terminated off the grounds per Justin Hannah stating "don't change the culture". If that wasn't the most racist comment given I don't know what is. read more

Love all the cute cloths at Earth bound. Sometimes it's a little pricey but their clothes are high quality and they have a lot of sales through out the year. I've been basically keeping the Sedona store in business hahaha. This was my first time at the flagstaff location. It's a bit smaller and only has one dressing room which is kind of a huge inconvenience. I had to wait for two people to try on clothes before me then I felt really rushed when I was trying on clothes because I knew there were a few people waiting for me. So I took one star away for that. But other than that it's perfect! They had a buy one get one half off the entire store sale going! I snagged 4 really great shirts for $75, not bad for this stores pricing! I freaking LOVE all decor they have and would furnish and decorate my entire house with it if I could. Definitely worth checking out! They have some super unique dream catchers and curtains, amazing art and some awesome notebooks etc.. I could go on and on. Awesome store! I am rating this on their Day of the Dead display... I didn't get past the cash register, so I don't really know what they were selling beyond that. The store itself was really cool. But, their Day of the Dead display was awesome and even better great prices. Joseph the day of the dead guru informed me they had special prices on certain items......LOVE it! They had the best masks selection I have ever seen. The prices on all their masks accessories and hard to find pieces were awesome and priced reasonably. Anyhow, loved the store...and Joseph was so helpful and friendly told me the special deals they had on their day of the dead display, I was grateful. read more

A cool hippie store with oodles of interesting accessories, clothing items, and decorations. I bought a black peasant dress I knew instantly would look sexy and whimsical for only about $30 or so. The sales people were super cool-friendly. I really love the vibe of this place. Feels very welcoming and comfortable. This is such a nifty little store. Lots of little trinkets and cute clothes. Extremely cheap which is not what we expected from this small little boutique. The cashier behind the register was so friendly and informative. We bought nesting dolls for the kiddos in our group and she was so attentive and playing with them. Gosh, where has this store been my whole life?? From the moment I walked in, I immediately loved the modern, Boho vibe of everything in here. I wish I could remember her name (Stephanie maybe??) but there was a lovely gal who helped me in and out of the fitting room at least 6 times, I kid you not. I think I tried on nearly half the clothes in the store, there were so many pieces that were "me," and with the buy 1 get 1 50% off sale, it was a fun adventure! The clothes here are great--some of it looked really dumpy on me but a lot of them flattered my normally curvy figure. I finally settled on a couple of tops and a sweater, and then raided their clearance section which was chock full of really cool stuff. And all the items had an additional 50% off! I found 2 cute succulent planters with a Native American motif for $5 each (such a steal!) and told Stephanie my worry about it breaking on my flight home the next day. She told me not to fret and that she'll take care of it while I kept shopping. While I was doing so, she found bubble wrap and the boxes they came in, and did a great job packing them up for me. I bought one of their jute shopping bags and she packed it all up for me so that the next day when I traveled, I just hand carried the bag easily! She's a gem. Later that day I was reading that Earthbound Trading honors military service members with a discount and was so bummed I forgot to ask at the time. So I called and Ashley the manager told me not a problem at all, to come in and they will adjust my payment! I couldn't believe the level of customer service and the great collection of unique worldly items. It's like a cross between World Market and Urban Outfitters, with generally reasonable prices. I'll definitely be on the lookout for stores nearby me in the future! read more

I love the clothes and all the cool merch. It's my favorite store. But the biggest thing for me is that these employees are incredible with their customer service skills. Each time, multiple of them approach me to ask how I am doing, if I need help, and they let me know about sales. They often ask me if they can prepare a dressing room for me and they tell me their name. They check in on me often. And I have also had them ask if they could hold my stuff while I finish shopping. I've worked in customer service and retail for years so this is a beautiful thing for me. It is not just a store I like to shop at, I love being in their because of the vibe the employees put off. Its a hippy dippy paradise! They have a great selection of import clothes at fairly cheap prices, and I feel like its the 60's and 70's again in there. Everytime I go in the selection is different and interesting. Check it out! My favorite find at Christmas was a coin purse looking thing made out of a sea shell. Wow I love this place! Staff is always friendly and clothing is always unique. So far, I've bought one dress, a wrap vest, and a headband and all have held up very well while receiving many compliments. I've bought two pieces of jewelry, and while not on the high-end, both are cute and haven't broken. I've also bought a cute buddha mug that continues to be my go-to, and a few other knickknacks. This is definitely my favorite store in Flagstaff! They have very unique and cool stuff. We came in on a Saturday morning (Memorial Day Weekend) and were instantly greeted by a very sweet girl (wish I would have got her name). I really liked their table full of Himalayan Rock Salt Crystal lamps at the front door as you walk in. I had been wanting one for a very long time, but was not sure what size or how deep an orange color I wanted. The sweet girl was extremely helpful and actually opened up other boxes under the display table and pulled a few different ones out, so I could find the perfect color. She went above and beyond to find the perfect one for us! She made our visit extra special! That weekend they offered a buy one, get one free deal, so I bought two! The second one was a gift and the people we got it for LOVED it! I have really noticed a huge difference it has made in my home (better breathing and I feel better). I was just in last Saturday and am so sorry I can't remember the name of the gentleman who helped me and my friends while we shopped. (I believe it was Dustin?) As soon as we stepped inside, he took note of what had drawn our interest (an awesome print of moon phases) and began pointing out other items we might like. Within minutes he had me checking out some awesome t-shirts, and had pointed out some of the great sales going on. Earthbound is one of the most reasonably priced shops in town; with great fashion and fun home and office decor, I'm always surprised at the affordability of their retail! Add to that some insane sales (i.e. a recent 50% off marked down jewelry) and it's seriously hard to resist. But what will have me coming back again and again is the staff: everyone is super friendly, and I never felt like I was being pressured by a salesperson ... it felt more like joking around with a friend. Clearly a store that depends on tourists spending money, and doesn't try to make sales or engage customers at all. I used to work at Earthbound Trading Company, and adored the place for the friendly, knowledgeable and fun staff. I brought my friend, who is a virgin with all things Earthbound and was so upset... no one greeted us, no one tried to show us anything cool or unusual. The only reason why my friend brought a crystal necklace, is because I showed her a trick that my manager at my store in Florida showed me... which I then showed to another customer in the store who saw and was interested in the trick. Did the staff notice or try to jump in to create that fun Earthbound atmosphere? HA no. I asked one girl at the register about an oil that I couldn't find, I simply said "Does Earthbound no longer carry Exotic?" and all she said is "No." Didn't say hi to me when I put my items down, didn't smile, didn't offer anything else even seeing that she could make an easy sale (as I had already picked out my favorite items,) and definitely didn't offer to find another oil, or even pretend to check the back. I was very disappointed coming into this Earthbound. Will never go back. read more
