The products & staff are lovely. My only complaint is if you schedule a grooming appointment, it is ok for them to cancel within 2 hrs of a scheduled appointment but if you cancel within 48 hours you will be charged the fee for service. I was surprised after they cancelled my appointment within 2 hours that they didn't even offer a discount for the inconvenience during the rescheduled service. read more

We took Roree (rat terrier) & Mishka (German Shepard) into Earthwise Pet Center to groomed after a long hot summer of sun, sand, dirt, mud & everything in between. We scheduled an appointment & 2 hours later they were beautifully clean & smell amazing. Staff was friendly & knowledgeable. Definitely worth coming back. Prices were reasonable 2 baths, nails, teeth cleaning & de shedding for $167 not bad at all. read more

Earth wise pet Nutrition is a great place to have your pup groomed. When doing the appointment online, I accidentally clicked for "Mobile Service". Either way, the service was excellent! We did have the appointment at 11:30 but the Groomer didn't show up until 12:45, which to some, would've been bad, but my husband and I weren't in a hurry, we were home. Lol. The price would've been $175 but for being late we were charged $165. Again- the service was excellent, the groomer was patient to our pup (first timer) and he was left spotless. They were very friendly and took good care of our little kitty. We needed his claws trimmed. He was saved as a feral and still has issues with people but they were gentle and he did great. He was terrified when we walked in the door but by the time they were done he had realized they weren't going to hurt him. We really appreciated their gentle calm manner. We will be back. It's a nice store with lots of hard to find pet products. read more

I have two cats that need nails trimmed. It's a hit and miss on how long it takes. There was only one time that I almost busted in to the room to remove my boys. But I think the other clerk could tell and she took over. If you don't like cats don't work at a place that provides nail trimming. read more

We have taken our dog to be groomed at Earthwise a number of times over the last couple of years. While we love the groomers we have found the owners to be unpleasant to deal with. Their customer service ranks among the bottom of all service oriented businesses we interact with. They are always eager to charge extras. Extra combing charges, extra dirty dog charges, and most recently raising our grooming rate by in excess of 30% more among other charges. Although we have many people ask us where we have our dog groomed we can't recommend Earthwise. Other groomers do similar quality work at meaningfully lower prices, and have support staff that are a pleasure to interact with. read more

We have been to many groomers over the past 12 years for our dogs. And by many, I mean 4. JoDee at EartWise is amazing. The staff in general has been friendly, kind and accommodating. Bear doesn't get scared or drag his feet when it's time to go in as he did at his last groomer. JoDee loves on him and calms his anxiety when she scoops him up. I know the prices are higher than other groomers in the valley but they are worth every penny. Bear loves their treats they sell and even though he's a little anxious, the staff is so sweet to him. Love this store! so helpful in picking the right dog food for our dog. She is 15 and was always just laying around and crank. we thought there wasn't much we could do for her. We have feed her the new dog food for one year. Last night we laugh and watched her chase a rabbit. We couldn't believe the difference. This review isn't directly directed at the Earthwise Yakima store but more to one of their groomers, Tim. I have been taking my dog Zeus to Earthwise to be groomed since they opened their Yakima location. JoDee has done a fantastic job on him. I met Tim right after he was hired. He told me that he had been trained to strip Giant Schnauzers by none other than Sylvia Hammarstrom who is Zeus's breeder and is very well known throughout the Giant Schnauzer community. I scheduled a grooming appointment for Zeus several weeks ago for this past Sunday at 9AM. JoDee was several weeks out but Tim was available so I thought I would give him a try. That was a huge mistake. I received a text from Earthwise on Saturday confirming the appointment. I showed up exactly at 9AM on Sunday with Zeus. Tim was in his truck in the parking lot. I got Zeus out of the car and said good morning to Tim. Tim asked me if I had brought proof of Zeus's rabies vaccination. I told him that I knew nothing about it. He replied telling me they had called me about it. I told him that I knew nothing about a phone call and that I was sure I had the proof as I take Zeus to the vet regularly. He told me he wouldn't be able to groom Zeus. I was flabbergasted. I got up at 9AM to bring him here (after taking my parents to the airport at 5AM) and now he is telling me he won't groom Zeus because I was required to bring me something I knew nothing about. I was not happy and told Tim his actions were going to cost their business a customer. He didn't care. He went into the store and locked the door. I did check my voicemail and I did have a message from them on Saturday afternoon at 4:45 confirming the appointment and it did ask me to bring in proof of his rabies vaccination. There was nothing saying that if I didn't bring it in, they wouldn't be able to groom him. I have taken and picked Zeus up several times and I do not recall ever being asked for proof of rabies vaccination. It is very poor customer service to call a customer at 4:45 on a Saturday and ask for something for the next day. That they didn't say it was required is whole other point. What if I didn't have it? (I did) I would have to get a hold of my vet and request it. Kind of hard to do that on a Saturday at 4:45. Earthwise has groomed Zeus at least four times previously, all apparently without proof of a rabies vaccination. For Tim to refuse to groom Zeus is just poor behavior and customer service. I wasn't happy to have to bring him in on a Sunday morning either but I didn't deserve to be treated like that. Earthwise has lost a good customer. I won't be going back there at all as long as Tim is an employee. read more

Have gone twice before for my Chinese crested with fine results. This time they asked "just like before?" and I said yes. unfortunately they must have thought she was a Yorkie before and forgot how they did it and for some reason this time gave her bangs and instead of shaving her face just trimmed it. They also cut her mane. Obviously do not know how to groom Chinese Crested Or care to learn. read more
