Having a computer monitor I thought that may be where it would go, but was politely informed it goes in the garbage. So glad to be off loading these items for my kids. You can unload up to 350 pounds for $$22.00. More signage or people directing would be helpful but I realize every business seems to be understaffed or can not afford to do any more then they are already doing. I appreciate this service.

Self service has gotten horrible with the shutting of the cardboard dumpster. It has become so…read morehard to slip each box one by one through a small slit. It is not regularly pushed down which makes it even harder when you have a full truck of broken down cardboard and the workers are not willing to lift it if you need help. So disappointing. I use to not mind going there but have resorted to burning or recycling my cardboard now.

This is the kootenai County waste transfer station located on Ramsey Road…read more You enter off Ramsey Road, you drive over a scale, they give you a ticket with a barcode, then you go and unload your materials and then they weigh you again when you exit. If you're a resident and the dumping is residential dumping you shouldn't have to pay anything because you already pay for the service in your taxes. There's also hazardous waste disposal here, but I don't know what the process or procedure is for that. They have just open bins for cardboard and aluminum cans and newspaper. There's a large wood pile for trees, pallets, and wood scrap. For most just garbage dumping you're going to drive into the main building offload your waist and then exit. It's pretty quick and they work pretty efficiently, I've never had any issues.

Laura asked me if I had help to get my flat fixed then she and her husband took my trash to the garbage part. I had stopped at the recycle first. Next Nancy came over and called Eric to see if they could help. This car has no spare so they let me keep car there overnight until I can get a tow tomorrow. It is the kindness of these folks and the smile from women in booth that make this inconvenience a minor hitch in the road of life. While waiting for my husband, it started to rain. Eric came over to say Nancy offered to bring me home if I didn't have a ride. Im like a kid and enjoy coming to this transfer station because it is well taken care of. Thank you all!

Simple to use and kept as tidy as possible. Good signage. Good customer service and support. Thoroughfares are kept clean and free of debris. Prices are reasonable. Make sure to cover your loads or you'll get charged extra. The website says household hazardous waste is only collected on Saturdays and Sundays.

The new contract was 1200 .00 more .. started looking at the new contact and the moving materials were being charged on both days . He apologized , blaming the computer . The job went from 5300 to 6800 . Between the 2 day change and double billing for materials , requested my deposit back and found another company . The new company did it in one day for 3500.00 .
