As a quick background, this is the first home I have ever had that was not on city sewer, so I have no experience with septic systems. We have lived in this home for 3 years, and were just doing what we were told was the time period to have it pumped. Well... Quinton came out and got things set up and opened the lids of the tank. As we were making small talk about things and I was asking questions, he asked me, "do you really want me to pump your tank?" I asked him why he asked me the question. His response was that it was obvious that it didn't need pumping and wasn't really even close to needing it. I replied that it is likely that we would be selling the house next year anyways, so it would be a good thing to have on the listing that it was just serviced in October. His response was that it is required that he come out and do that within 90 days of closing anyways. After conversing and thinking about it, I decided that it wouldn't be the best use of money to do this twice within less than a year. I thanked him for his integrity and even though he will likely get paid for fewer hours today than he was planning on, he walks away with integrity and a repeat customer. One other piece of this, is that I was so anxious to make sure I paid for the service, I called and processed the credit card before Quinton got set up to completely open the lids. So, I paid for the pumping. He said that it wasn't a problem and we could just delay the processing of the charge, or put a credit on our account so that when we did sell and needed to have the tank pumped, it would be credited. I am super grateful to your team at Gobers and to Quinton. That guy deserves some serious kudos for his ethics and friendliness. He is a valuable asset to your team. Thanks!

H&R Complete was the right choice for us!…read more Toward the end of winter 2019, we noticed that our fresh water looked like grey water. Turns out that our fresh water holding tank developed a crack which was evident by the sinkhole near one of the sides. H&R Complete was recommended to us by a friend, so we gave them a call. Herb came out to survey the damage. He brought in another contractor to supply the new tank, who was also incredibly professional. Together, they removed, excavated, replaced, and hooked up a new concrete vault. I've recommended Herb (H&R Complete) to anyone who has had issues with septic or freshwater vaults. Thanks, Herb!

Ineffective Service, Exorbitant Charge for Nothing, and Management Ignores Customers…read more I regret calling Raptor Rooter & Plumbing LLC for a serious plumbing issue in mid-November 2025. Water was backing up from a basement floor drain in my South Hill Spokane home, creating a messy and urgent situation. Technician Brandon arrived and, after I described the recurring problem in detail, tested the drain by running water. He then briefly ran a cable snake only about 2 feet into the drain and stopped. He provided no diagnosis, no explanation for the backup, and admitted he didn't have a camera scope on hand--which likely would have revealed the root cause. After roughly 45 minutes, he left without resolving anything. I was shocked to be billed $462 for this unproductive visit. Hoping for some accountability, I left a message two days later for General Manager Chris, asking him to call me about Brandon's service. It's now January 7, 2026--nearly two months later--and Chris has never bothered to return my call, showing a complete lack of integrity or concern for customer satisfaction. Fortunately, I found a reputable plumbing company in the area. Their general manager and team were responsive, thorough, and fixed the problem permanently. Raptor Rooter's work was inadequate, their follow-through appalling, and their overall integrity horrendous. Save yourself the frustration and money--I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE for work beyond attaching a garden hose.

American said access to the septic well would be better if risers were installed. I asked about the price and they quoted $500. I said, "okay" to acknowledge the price but he never gave me a written quote, or asked my phone number or even my name. American owner proceeded to be on his phone half the time while I and the current home owner tried to ask him questions about the septic system. We came back to the home for a final walk through a week later to find American doing the work in the backyard, unexpected by me and the home owner. When I approached him that I hadn't asked him to do the work, nor expected him to be there (yes, I now acknowledge the misunderstanding of the word "okay"), he proceeded to call me a B*^%H and it was lucky my husband stepped in. We agreed to pay him for the work that his worker had done. The work was done in August, and we received an initial invoice in March. Yes, 7 months later. The bill even had an incorrect address listed for my husband and I. They never contacted me to let me know he was doing the work, and he was doing work on a property that I had no authority on because I didn't own it. Furthermore, after they completed the work, we smelled sewage odors every time we were in our backyard. My husband had to file down the risers where they had cut them unevenly so that the covers would fit snuggly and not emit septic odors. Bad customer service, bad communication, rude, and unfortunate workmanship. DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Before I contacted Action Drain, I called Gold Seal because they offered a promotional drain clearing for $89. This was a few days before for the same problem. The guy said it was clear, but right after he left it backed up immediately which was worse than before he started. The sink would at least drain. In addition, when he reassembled the drain pipes, he screwed one connector on crooked so it leaked! I called to ask if they would return without charge since he made it worse. They said no. The service manager was supposed to call me but did not. Definitely a second rate company. I went with Action Drain based on Yelp reviews. I definitely recommend them.
